The Worst is Yet to Come Awesome card. Like cards like this that scale in power with a diversity of card types. 7/10Yakana, looks up and scowls as the bony faced creature turns to face her. The readied bolt fires from her hand to the effect she had hoped for, that is until she managed to draw more ire from the creature, and one of it's many limbs came barreling towards her. In a sharp sudden motion, Yakana's body bends around and away from the limbs like a leaf blown aside by rushing force. She stows her chocolates as the rift gets wider and she sees more denizens of the arena arrive to defend the land. The purple smoke billowed forth and pooled on the ground below Yakana. Just as she leaned down to take notice of it, a shimmering field of force slams shut around her, causing her to lose her breath. The invisible force retains an iron grip around the fox, and she begins to fall out of the sky, sinking like a stone. In the hundreds of feet she had yet to fall, Yakana's head raced. This is more serious than I thought. With all these random weirdos here to defend their home I thought I could just sit back and watch. "I'll probably be fine, but what of the others here? I can't just leave, almost everyone here can planeswalk, and if they see me deserting I'll surely make an enemy of all of them. These damned things are just going to keep pouring out, aren't they? There has to be a way to deal with all of this. You're a woman of taste, and now is no time to lose your composure. Think of all the things you can buy with the good will of people like this. They'll be eating out of the palm of my hand! Let's give them a show they'll never forget. Dust is thrown every which way as Yakana is slammed to the earth. Over her is a sneering skeletal automaton who held a lantern that emitted the force that bound her to the earth. Yakana wheezes under the weight of the force and starts gathering herself. Now on level ground and as the dust clears, she can see that the other combatants have their own messes to deal with. Yakana hatches an idea, and smiles. The previously dispersed dust starts whirling around Yakana as air is sucked in from all directions. The dust rotates around her, gaining speed. Yakana's body begins to contort and fold into itself, creating a smaller and smaller point. Eventually, the point gets so small that she disappears into herself. There is a brief moment of silence and stillnessAt a point above the Jailer, Yakana erupts into being, and from her, a great wave of red static rushes out in a great dome of energy. The dome passes through a great many combatant, Yakana hopes most of them to be foe. For each of those caught in the blast, though no physical harm is done, a great feeling erupts from within them; that of pure unadulterated inhibition. If only temporarily, the bonds over the mind are severed. Outer influence is shunted, loyalties are shattered, and every core instinct is pushed to the forefront of thought. Every mind within the blast is isolated to one's core motivations without ambiguity. In the minds of those summoned as constructs, this severs the command of who summoned them. Whatever action each of these beings would take would be now completely by their digression and under no order by any master (unless it aligns with their personal wishes.)
To Thought a Whim Instant For each spell and/or ability an opponent controls, choose a player at random. The chosen player gains control of that spell or ability, and may choose new targets for it.

[I'm going to say this is an assist because it makes it easier for me] Below, the undead pause. Some blink. Some attempt to figure out where they are. The ones nearest the CEWs try to turn and run, but are bowled over by their relentless advance. Those nearer to the back have little time to realize the true horror of their new existence before they need to turn and run. Vidus, already weakened by his battle with the earlier CEW and his power surge granted by his father can only hold his shovel above him to keep the newly freed undead from trampling him. Some of the undead, who were most likely soldiers begin to form into ranks, drawing their weapons. The newly formed ranks begin to hold against the tides of otherworldly creatures. For a second, the line of battle pauses. Then, it begins to move forward, away from Vidus and the rest of the undead. Some of the undead at the line of fighting begin grabbing objects off of the ground to use as makeshift shields, keeping the biting mouths and the slashing claws of the creatures from reaching them. Vidus, now no longer in danger of being stepped on by the dead, struggles to his feet. A few of the dead, maybe medics in their previous life, rush to help Vidus to his feet. Some of the dead not fighting the monsters begin contemplating the new horror that is their existence and breaking down. Then, eventually, the spell begins to wear off, and the magic of Vidus's father begins to take hold once more. The undead horde turns and renews its attack on the CEWs with vigor. Vidus watches the undead attack, his face solemn and weary.

As the spell hits Mira, one thing comes to mind - an inexorable, ravenous curiosity that worms its way out of her subconscious and into the forefront of her mind. A desire for knowledge. Idea after idea comes together in her head, with any notion of "potential risks" or "dangers to others" subsiding. Only the desire to learn so that she can figure out how to help her home. There's a faraway voice in her head about potentially useful information, which is noted but not considered by the monomaniacal beckoner. And she finds herself with just the way to do it. Another concoction, this one a substance that combines two parts - one part that if permitted, accelerates the pace at which people can come up with ideas, and another part that allows her to harness whatever... residual inspiration might come to her peers. This, she thought to herself, was true field research. On impulse, she puts her thoughts towards the task at a hand - a giant monster, was it - and puts together assorted pieces of knowledge and uses it to summon a giant creature, one that somehow rivals the size of the one they were facing right now. It has an innumerable number of tentacles, several humanoid faces, hundreds of insectile limbs each with their own eyes, and a very large mouth covered in sharp teeth. Despite her impulse for knowledge, she still has enough common sense left to keep the monstrosity simple enough in composition, so as to allow for it to be dispelled into aether if necessary. The monstrosity, affected by Yakana's spell, is in a similar state of thoughtlust. In its perilous search of information about extraplanar beings, it very aggressively moves towards the kaiju in an attempt to messily dissect it to see what's inside. Well, it's not a proper dissection, but it's a reasonable, albeit violently messy attempt. Mira has used one of her free set unlocks to gain the ability to Call for Aid from Dragon's Maze, calling for aid from Notion Thief.
Dreams Subsume Decisions Sorcery - Revelation Draw two cards. Each other player draws a card. Coalesce At the beginning of your end step, put a +1/+1 counter on Dreams Subsume Decisions for each card you've drawn this turn. 1/1 -> 31/31This primarily helps deal with the giant creature by creating a 13 players * 2 cards per player + 4 cards = 31/31 blue Horror. Mira also draws 30 some cards off of this as well in her monomaniacal pursuit of knowledge, despite the circumstances. In her current, single-minded state, she very much is not viewing people as teammates (instead viewing them as opponents), hence why Notion Thief functions the way it does. The Worst Is Yet To Come: Ominous name! I think this could honestly look at more cards at four colors, but you've pulled off nonwhite splendidly and in an exciting package in such a way that's hard to do, so like 9.5/10

The moment Yakana's blast reaches Avis, her mind erupts into turmoil. Suddenly, two separate consciousnesses are trying to use Avis' body to reach their personal goal. She wants to eat. She wants to prove herself. She wants food. She wants knowledge. She wants to survive. She wants to die a legend. The sudden split in her brain reaches the moth, and its divebomb towards the wolf-like creature turns into a spiraling descent straight down. The moth crashes through a building off to the side of the current battlefield, quickly being buried in rubble. Avis crawls out of the debris, her form, which is back to her human self, bulges and twists unnaturally as both minds within her head vie for control. She remains mostly incapacitated until Yakana's spell ends.
To Thought a Whim - Feels too random to really be fun to play, but I'm probably not the target audience. 7/10

mrlozano Nadejda's mech descends upon the shops, having followed Aylin in the air to avoid her wake of rough terrain. She blinks with surprise to see a familiar face on the front lines. "Hey cat! Still interested in VTOL fighters? Any chance you learned how to fly them since last time you broke mine?" As she speaks, the rubble left in the Elsewhere-beast's wake rises, self-assembling into wings and engines, the entire contraption piecing together beneath and around Doer as he jumps into the fray, connecting to the WEAPON as power-source, control-mechanism, and main armament alike.Fury of Otaria Legendary Artifact — Equipment This spell can't be countered. Equipped creature gets +6/+6 and has flying, trample, and protection from white and from blue. : Equipped creature gets +1/+0 until end of turn. Equip A jet that was never built, named in tribute to the greatest angel that never existed.(With this in the graveyard—perhaps destroyed by All Reality Shudders—the WEAPON's transforming ability can let us skip paying the .) The Arena groans at the rift from Elsewhere tearing higher and higher into the sky. The creature of Elsewhere’s long limb tear at the rift’s edges, letting it grow wider. Strangely, it seems no other creatures have yet pulled themself from this rift, with the horror standing alone amid the collapsed shop and abandoned buildings nearby.
It freezes as it feels a strange ripple in reality that is not its own. The earth and lumber crack as the tremendous creature turns to the floating fox, talking away and pulling her box of sweets from Nowhere. The power was intriguing. One of the great pointed arms reached out for her, and was met with a glowing bolt of force. The creature of Elsewhere begins sliding back before its limbs grow larger, three of them digging deep into the ground to resist the force, the last shooting outwards to Yakana.
Its attention on the fox, the disfiguring scientist goes unnoticed for a moment too long, and the voracious mouth creature crawls its way up another leg gnawing and gnawing away the creature’s strange flesh. At every bite, it begins dissolving away for a moment, before more grows back to replace the wound.
A galloping breaks through the squelches and snaps as the glowing knight charges for the other flank, a gleaming scythe cleanly separating the back leg from the creature. The rooted part of the foot dissolves away while gravity brings the creature down on its now completely unsupported half. The reaching arm slams back into the ground, a snow leopard gracefully dodging the staggering creature while arrows fly. One sinks into a hole in the creature’s face. It roars from some unseen mouth as its back leg buckles. The parasite continues its feast, and the regeneration no longer seems to be keeping pace.
Two more limbs explode skyward from the ribbed carapace of the creature, then angle for the knight at its back and the parasite climbing its leg. A wall of stone races across the battlefield, covering the knight as the new arm slams into the rock uselessly. A cat laughs maniacally as he soars through the air at the second arm, a massive, overcharged sword hacking at the limb before it can ever find its mark. The final leg of the creature is finally added to the assault by the shadowy gravekeeper, adding blow after blow that the creature cannot hope to regenerate from on top of everything else.
The creature’s legs scramble as it tries to regain its control of the battlefield, but the defense is unlike anything the creatures of Elsewhere had ever seen. Lightning arcs from across the battlefield, burning large dissolving scars along the creature’s carapace. A child with a spear materializes at the edge of the battlefield, panicking at the sight of it all. Behind her planeswalks in another shining knight, this one made of glistening metal rather than sunlight. The child disappears again, and blades swirl around the Phyrexian as he leaps into the fray.Amid the chaos, Thistle could put together some things from the absolute beating the creature was taking and seeming to survive. It was clearly not organic, any wound would just result in pieces of the creature dissolving away unless it regenerated the damage fast enough. This creature wasn’t an aether summon like most planeswalkers threw around, it was far sturdier, seemed to practically have a mind of its own. But some of those same weaknesses still applied. A banishing spell, something to return them to the aether or wherever it was they came, would be certain to turn it back to nothing… provided it was large enough. Thistle may also find among the fray, the Beckoner, adding her own copy of the creation to the horrific pile. This one, though, appears to be under her control. It picks its way across the chaotic battlefield, latching itself onto the creature trying to grow yet more legs in the face of flying mechas cracking them off each time they arise. It stumbles again as Mira’s creation absorbs part of its leg, and stone walls fire upwards to guard the combatants near the thrashing legs trying to keep upward.
Then from the sky, it emerges. Teeth, feathers, an ant, a dinosaur, a bird, a god, a monstrosity that may be mistaken for one of the creatures of Elsewhere itself, if it did not descend upon its own brethren with a heavy CRACK, snapping the creature cleanly in two.
The creature collapsed.
Its arms flailed wildly, cracking as they plowed into Aylin’s pillars. From its back, rings of nothingness grew as the creature dissolved from the middle outward.
A one-armed robot falls amid the fray, bringing her blade into the Beckoner’s creature of Elsewhere for her troubles. A light white glow formed around Zero. She was very, very, very late. At the least, the citizenry of this strange plane had managed to defeat such a monstrous creature of Elsewhere. At the least, she was here now, to ensure no more could make their way through.
Zero stood before the towering rift and cast the sealing spell.
The rift tore wider.
A mass of purple lashed from the rift, surrounding the prototype angel entirely before flinging her into the distance.
The creature poured from the rift like smoke, from as high as anyone could see all the way to the ground. Forms began to take shape as the purple fog rolled around the combatants.A giant punches at the flying mecha. A hungry lion leaps for the cat with the sketchbook. A minotaur tears into the path of the knight, horns ready for the horse. A moth grabs at the scientist, flying her high into the sky. A hybrid of too many animals to name tramples for the geomancer.
The fog collects strongest by Anne, towering into a lupine behemoth fit to fight a god, its fur seeming to wisp away into the fog around it.
Hundreds of insectile legs begin to break around the edges of the rift, and push. Doer looks at the towering behemot with awe, ready to strike it down with his newfound mech. But something catches his eye. In the ground below, a big monstruous lion is ready to attack his little brother, who is too busy preparing a spell to deal with the new monstrosity and can't defend himself. "Today's your lucky day, meowstard!" With great difficulty, Doer turns the mech around, driving it directly into the lion. The mechanical contraption slams into the ground shattering in a million fragments, leaving Doer, scarred but alive, on top of the lion, ready to run it through with his sword. The conmmotion shatters Michi's concentration, and flickering through the pages of his sketchspellbook, he finds a new out, probably not enough to take care of the giant monster, but hopefully it can prevent more small adversaries to escape from the rift. "We got this, brother!"Doer, Bladewhirler Legendary Creature - Cat Warrior First strike When ~ enters the battlefield, it deals 1 damage to each other creature. The Worst is Yet to Come: I could see this working as a pentacolored card but if I had to take out a color, then would definitely be my choice. I love not only the design but also the value that you managed to pull out of it (yes, fixed outcome but still) and the entirety of the story moment surrounding it, 10/10! Too focused on protecting the rest, Aylin doesn't react quite in time, and the beast connects with her, causing her to be hurled and roll on the ground. Using the momentum of the assault and a bit of geomancy, she manages to get back on her feet, her fingers clawing at the earth beneath her to decelerate her."Well, I guess the fun had to come to me" she declares while staring at her opponent dead in the eyes "what else have you got?"The creature charges forward once more, intent on beating her to a pulp, and Aylin reciprocates the action. A second before colliding, however, she feints, dodging to the side and grabbing it by the horns, just like she did when Rekal hurled the ox at her.For eldritch aberrations, these things are suprisingly lacking in originality she thinks. This creature, however, is far stronger than the ox, and manages to thrash as she attempts to hurl it. Before she gets to release it, its horns have already lacerated some parts of her body. The creature is sent flying in a random direction, ready to slam against its own brethren, which is currently engaged against... a couple of cats?!?!?!?!?! Whenever a creature token dies, put a +1/+1 counter on ~. 3/1 A beast comes flying across the battlefield and collides with the lion, but instead of slamming against it (as Aylin was hoping), the monstrosities merge upon contact, creating a whole new aberration for the fighters to deal with. "Oh my" says Aylin trying to conceal her frustration by pretending this was her plan all along "things have finally gotten interesting".The creature spawns two tinier version of itself.Shit, guess I have to clean my own mess she thinks. For a second the two cats trigger the memory of Kirino, but even if these are her work (which means she's come back from the dead, and that's a whole other can of worms) recoiling at this taunt would just be giving her a victory, so she charges towards the new enemy without concern for her own safety. As she approaches, she points towards the ground, and parts of it start rising and sticking to her hands, forming two massive gauntlets she uses to pummel the beast, leaving openings for the cats to finish it off.Mineral Knuckles Instant Target creature you control gets +1/+0 until end of turn and fights target creature you don't control. If was spent to cast this spell, the creature you control gains indestructible until end of turn. Good old rock, nothing beats that!
Targetting Doer. His ability should still allow him to kill the two 1/1 lifelinkers, taking him to a 5/3, so my card should bring him to a 6/3 indestructible (I'm obviously paying the ) that can finish off Brokkos.

CONJURE - Worst is Yet to Come, The: 9/10. This would be very cool in Commander but feels difficult to work in anywhere else. Atlani nods at Leira's message. Not telepathic herself, though no stranger to being read, Atlani leaves a response in her own mind: Appreciated. Let me know if I'm needed somewhere else.Atlani suffers the effects of Yakana’s blast. I need to leave/lead/fight/kill/help/die with glory/survive. Atlani utters a short incantation under her breath, and a carving of wings in her bow begins to glow white. For her, and anyone near her, the fog looks as though it’s thinned a bit, though the air is still heavy, and the forms are no less substantive. Even for those too far for the benefits of the enchantment, the glow is bright enough to serve as a beacon through the fog. She then dismounts as Nai nearly bolts out from under her, charging toward the lion, trying to come at it from the side. Atlani switches from her bow to her sword and shield and follows suit. Atlani’s Command Instant Choose two: - Destroy target creature.
- Destroy target artifact or enchantment.
- Create a 2/2 white Cat creature token with lifelink.
- Put a +1/+1 counter on each creature that attacked this turn.
This could allow her to destroy both the revelation and her enchantment, but she’s going to use it to destroy the enchantment and put a counter on herself, and at least Nai and Doer. (anyone who wants a +1/+1 counter can have one, though)

[Cajun cast a card, and did some nonsense] Simul sighs, deeply, as she watches Argel disappear in a flash of light, and spots his aether signature materialize near the town in the distance.
“I really must do something about this weakness to the Eternities. Goggles, perhaps. For now, however, it is time to move, and to send the signal.”
She retrieves a small device from within her cloak and fiddles with it for a moment, before stowing it back and beginning to run directly for the black rift. As Simul looks out into the utter chaos that has engulfed the town, a patch of air near her crackles with electricity, and a flash of light forms into a human woman floating in the air. Liactru is wearing a loose dress and plate armor that seems more suited to decoration than defense, though the giant metal staff she’s easily holding show’s she’s still not someone to mess with.
“Whew, what a mess. Way too many fighters to avoid collateral. Oh, how about the anemone maneuver?”
”Ah, perfect. You always know the right option.”
Simul looks at her partner with a warm smile, briefly, then closes her eyes and focuses on her spell while Liactru begins swirling her staff in the sky. The pair draw in a vast quantity of green and red mana, respectively, before unleashing it upon the battlefield in twin titanic waves, the green just barely outpacing the red.Conjure: Inferno

The fog collects strongest by Anne, towering into a lupine behemoth fit to fight a god, its fur seeming to wisp away into the fog around it.
Hundreds of insectile legs begin to break around the edges of the rift, and push. CONJURE - in addition to the big boi, each of you has a Conjure to deal with! You only need to defend against the Revelation or your Conjured attack, but bonus points for you if you can two-for-one foureyesisafish Tepilli, Messenger of the Gods - a legend with just an etb is kinda underwhelming, but flavor lands. 8/10 The Worst Is Yet To Come is fun. 9/10Anne watched in horror as Yakana's pulse coursed through her friends and family. Tepilli instantly dashed through the rift, Anne's siblings and Roy began fighting, and Aki... just broke down. Anne looked up towards her opponent, the massive lupine behemoth, and her mind raced as the spell tried to work its magic on her mind. Her mind did not yield.
As the magic dissipated, unable to pierce the divine energy coursing through her veins, Anne had a moment to think. She looked down at her hands, looking at the glow. What was this mysterious power flowing through her? A new ability of hers? Or the hydra lord's favor? Anne quickly remembers that she's facing down a monster as it slowly approaches and quickly chants a small prayer that Aki, Roy, her siblings, and even Simul would recognize: "Hyxotl, grant me your strength."
Anne didn't notice blue and purple markings appear alongside the yellow, red, and green runes as she approached the behemoth, bare-handed. As she approached the oversized wolf monstrosity, her form surged forth, morphing slowly from Anne's normally modest, short body to a titanic frame fit for a god. She cracked her knuckles, alerting Aki to her presence, the spirit looking up... and subsequently cheering in excitement, the enchantment on her mind broken. Soon her other friends and family followed suit, with Tlalli muttering, "...for the gods!" as she sees her now colossal sister sizing up her opponent. The ant girl, for one, did not notice her own radical transformation. All she was focused on now was keeping her family safe. Her friends safe.
Her community safe.
Anne's fists collided with the titanic wolf as she goes on the offensive, trying to keep it as pinned as possible as the rifts around her grow larger and larger. Soon, Tepilli dashed out of the rift once again, the brilliant white-and-black archaeopteryx landing on the ground and soon shifting to the visage of a young person with pale skin with white-and-black hair, their body outfitted like a scout. Unconsciously recognizing the emissary, Tlalli moved over towards them as another entity begins to slowly push through the rift.

Atlani suffers the effects of Yakana’s blast. I need to leave/lead/fight/kill/help/die with glory/survive.
Anne watched in horror as Yakana's pulse coursed through her friends and family. Tepilli instantly dashed through the rift, Anne's siblings and Roy began fighting, and Aki... just broke down. Anne looked up towards her opponent, the massive lupine behemoth, and her mind raced as the spell tried to work its magic on her mind. Lothaire silently curses Yakana's name as they struggle to piece together a narrative out of the wildly conflicting desires and expectations of the affected combatants, beyond the base desire for self-importance. As the dissonance reaches its peak, The Knight flickers from view of the afflicted entirely.
My name is Leira. I'm in control of the glowing dragonflies. For anyone that's disoriented by the chaos, I'm going to try to provide you with better vision of the battlefield.
Through the swarm of perspectives, along the wings of Leira's telepathic messages, the Knight re-enters the minds of those who still have control of themselves, and the image of the hero re-asserts itself, regardless of any skepticism or disregard from then on. They search for any further coherence on hand...
The horse attempts to turn its path from the minotaur before it, but the Knight atop refuses to cede any momentum, and instead leaps from the saddle. In their arc through the air, their halberd becomes a glaive, trailing afterimages, which then follow the Knight as their own fully manifested blades, glowing as though they were only just pulled from a forge of sunlight. Lothaire bears down on the minotaur with the full force of the charge along with gravity, seeking to first skewer, then shred with the many floating, dancing weapons that now accompany them. Once this obstacle is dealt with, the Knight, without losing a second, pivots to the wolf-like herald, their many weapons hurling themselves at it in a flurry.
Peer's Pocket Watch Artifact — Equipment Flash When Peer's Pocket Watch enters the battlefield, if it was cast, exile target nonland permanent you control, then return that card to the battlefield under your control. Equip abilities that target equipped creature cost less to activate. Equip //Doer has wiped out the Living Weapons from Whirlwind of Steel—Lothaire will be using the equipment now. Additionally, this will fizzle Strike Down, allowing us to continue interfering with Coalesce in general, and getting another spot of damage with even more cards having been sent to grave than before. Even if Strike Down comes back around, +7/+7 will outrace its body easily. The Worst is yet to Come — I think that this is a slight miss when accounting for the relative frequency of filtering top cards (such as enchantments) for type specified cards in white when compared to red. I take greater issue with the unfavourable odds of landing each of the types out of seven cards, just under three of which on average are already going to be lands. Otherwise, there are an appreciable number of aesthetic parallels, such as between four types, or seven cards checked against a seven cost back. 7/10

As the rift widens in the sky, Iritola prepares. A research rover is not meant for combat, not really, but neither is a scientist. Neither was this scientist, and look at how that turned out. But there's no time for doubt, no time for angst. It's… thrilling, almost, in a terrible way that makes her chest tight and her breath come too fast. It's thrilling to have a deadline to need to put her head down and force herself to work, to block out everything as the sky splits open. So she works. And soon, though not immediately, Iritola is arriving at the rift in the sky. The rover is tall and its multiple stilt-like legs aren't the most stable thing in the world, but it navigates the terrain well enough, and it takes her weight, even if she had to scoop out all of her samples and half the measuring equipment to make room for herself. But that was fine because, frustrating as it was to undo her works since arriving on this plane - what work had she done since arriving on this plane? Besides conning the population? She starts laughing to herself, which she's sure makes a pretty picture as she pulls up to the battle. Maybe she has as much in common with the bringer of this curse as everyone seems to think. She keeps laughing as she presses her hands to the sigils carved into the thin walls of the rover and channels the excess mana still tingling along her stained hands right into the series of lenses she's set up along the arm of the rover. A thin beam of pure mana shines through one lens, then another and another, getting more concentrated with each it passes through until she's able to jerkingly carve into the monstrous, many legged creature looming over the battlefield. Optics Class Enchantment - Class (Gain the next level as a sorcery to add its ability.)When Optics Class enters the battlefield, return another target enchantment to its owner's hand. The Worst is Yet to Come: First of all, I just want to reiterate how incredible this entire scene is. Second, this card is rad. I love the revelation is among the types it grabs. 9/10

The fog collects strongest by Anne, towering into a lupine behemoth fit to fight a god, its fur seeming to wisp away into the fog around it.
Hundreds of insectile legs begin to break around the edges of the rift, and push. Argel takes a sigh as the creature collapses, the lightning-wreathed sword still in his hands. And then suddenly, the break was over. The rift was torn wider, and this time by something truly massive. As he looked on, more than just one emerged. Several monstrosities poured out, spreading out like a wildfire. One creature lumbered directly towards him. A colossal metal robot approached him with what was surely violent intent. My name is Leira. I'm in control of the glowing dragonflies. For anyone that's disoriented by the chaos, I'm going to try to provide you with better vision of the battlefield. This voice blasted through his mind. Looking up, he could see the dragonflies. If someone is directing this, it should go smoothly. Or as smoothly as a fight against building-sized monsters can.Argel stared his enemy down as it approached, thinking of ways he could deal with this problem. As he considered things, a huge wave hit him from above. Suddenly, it didn't seem like such a problem anymore. He was Argel! He wasn't going to let some oversized construct stand between him and glory. He charged it down, ducking between its legs as it went for a swing. Giving it all his power, he gave a swing directly into the ankle of its right foot. The electric charge within the blade began to surge as he pushed everything he had through it, hoping to immobilize the monster where it knelt. The charge visibly raced through the monstrous leg as the blue lightning bounced up the leg. Unfortunately for Argel, this was only the beginning. The giant metal arm came sweeping between its legs, trying to swat him off. As Argel is quite crushable, he yanked his blade out and quickly retreated several yards back. As it tried to stand up and failed, Argel pointed his blade directly at the sky. From in between a few non-stormy clouds, a bolt of blue lightning shot down. It struck the robot with such force, it scorched a mark straight through and crashed into the ground. The dirt went flying from the lightning, but the slouching colossus slid onto the ground, immobilized. Looking on the felled monster, he took another sigh of relief. Well, that's one down. I don't know who needs my help, but I doubt anyone will turn it down.Shield Smasher Creature - Dragon Warrior Level up Whenever an artifact is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, deal 1 damage to each opponent. [Level 1+] : Destroy target artifact with mana value less than or equal to Shield Smasher’s level. 1/2
The Worst Is Yet To Come: 8/10. Excellent name. Quite scary as a 4 mana draw 4, but more often drawing 2-3. That said, getting to cast it again, this is an insane amount of value out of one uncommon, but I suspect you know that.

The Worst Is Yet To Come — This? This is what a four-color Revelation should look like. Still a bit leery on how cheap the Coalesce cost is, though, even quad-dense and without board impact. 9/10
The giant's fist collides with Nadejda's flying mech, crystal spikes piercing through the cockpit as she fires a barrage of missiles at it point-blank. The mech and giant alike explode, shrapnel scattering the battlefield, and Nadejda falls out of the sky. She hits the ground, hard, a broken-off spike of crystal impaled in her chest, blood staining her flight-suit.Wrath of Otaria Legendary Artifact — Equipment Equipped creature gets +6/+6 and has flying, first strike, vigilance, trample, haste, and protection from black and from red. Equip : Exile Wrath of Otaria and a card you own and control named Fury of Otaria from your graveyard and/or the battlefield, then meld them into Otarian Flagship AM-1 "Krom-dome". (Assuming a Crystalline Giant with all possible counters on it, anything equipped with this trades with it.)
Nadejda blinks open her eyes and struggles to her feet, clearly fighting through the pain of what appears to be a critical injury. "That... really xujóvo hurt. I am going to break you. I'm gonna kill you, and then I'm going to find out where you came from, and go back two hundred years and melt it to slag, so you retroactively will have never existed. And then I'm going to design a useless junker of a vehicle and name it after you, so history will only remember your name as referring the most unreliable truck ever built." The scrap of her plane and Doer's reassembles in midair into a winged figure, reaching down to lift Nadejda's broken form aboard. Missiles streak from beneath its wings into the rift, plasma splashing Elsewhere as the gunship leaps after them.////// Otarian Flagship AM-1 "Krom-dome"Legendary Artifact Creature — Angel Ship Flying, first strike, vigilance, trample, haste, protection from all colors : "Krom-dome" gets +1/+0 until end of turn. Whenever "Krom-dome" deals combat damage to an opponent, choose target nontoken permanent they own or card in their graveyard. Put it into their command zone. It gains "You can't cast spells with the same name as this card." 12/12

The child holding the spear materializes at the edge of the battlefield once again. A blast of smoke and a young woman with a winged contraption attached to her back appear beside her. The Widgeteer looks over the chaos reigning over the battlefield. She grins and cracks her knuckles. The machine’s wings begin to flap and carry her above the fog. One by one, thopters spin off away from her and begin collecting the fog in large swathes.Aether dragonflies zip around the battlefield, gathering surveillance on creature and ally alike. As they pass where the purple fog is thickest, it billows in an attempt to grab them and meld them into itself as a previous creature had done with the summoned birds. The dragonfly may spot the traces of aether outlining the rift covered in limbs, but sees nothing more of the creature itself than Leira sees with her own eyes.
What she may see at the center of it all is a pink fox plummeting to the ground, faster and faster and faster until she finally slams into the ground. And yet somehow, she stands again, and casts a spell, spinning up a dust storm before teleporting above a construct wielding a foggy lantern. Red lightning explodes out from her, casting off the inhibitions of all those caught in the wave. Across the battlefield, the creatures of Elsewhere pause for a moment… and continue their assault.
Avis hijacks the mind of the creature of Elsewhere carrying her off, but caught in the wave, the three minds fight each other for control of the spaghettified scientist-moth hybrid, diverting from their target and crashing into a hastily built Arena home, bringing the abandoned shack down upon them all. A dragonfly zips closely around the area out of reach.
Another burst of energy expands across the battlefield, disintegrating the plants and creatures of Elsewhere caught in the blast and rebuilding them into an army of the undead. As the two energy fields mingle, the undead break into action, the soldiers working together in practiced formation to down creature after creature, the medics tending to the wounded, others falling apart from the panic, still others creating a perimeter to ensure none of the creatures will escape to civilization.
The dragonborn caught in the wave laughs in the face of danger, outmaneuvering the titanic construct with ease. With every lightning strike, Argel can see the energy firing through the entire creature, desperately trying to dissipate the energy but failing in the face of so much electricity. At last, the construct lights up and disintegrates entirely. A dragonfly zips several circles around him before leading him to another construct hidden among the fog.
At the edges of the wave, Nai and Doer both make their jumps for the lion creature lunging for Michi. the lion slashes for Nai, getting a back full of shrapnel in retaliation. Dissolving stripes rip across its back and the construct blurs into fog, then reforms turned toward the smaller cat and tries to swat the sword away with a paw as big as Doer himself. Between the snarls of the cats, they may miss the geomancer hurling another nightmare their way. The two creatures collide, and aside a short distance… and then take a glow familiar to three of the four fighters. The taller hybrid stands up tall and roars. Two smaller lions pounce from its sides for Doer and Nai, both run through before they hit the ground by Doer and Atlani's swords. A boulder with a woman attached flies in between them, pummeling the creature down so the others can safely dispatch it. Michi flips through his pages and casts a spell…
Across the battlefield, the reconstituted knight makes their charge for the ringleader, and finds they’re not the only making the attempt. A giant girl punches the wolf in the jaw, knocking it backwards a step into Lothaire’s flurry of blades. The creature melts into the fog and rushes past Anne, reforming at her back and sinking now very solid teeth into her neck. The girl throws it back into the waiting claws of Mira’s creation, which wastes no time in digging into the creature and tearing out dissolving pieces of its torso. It bursts back into fog, fleeing its fellow giants. The creation stays where it is, turning over the fading samples it has collected. The knight’s whirlwind of weapons do not give up, chasing down the cloud and shredding away wherever it reforms. The ground shakes as Anne runs in to deliver two more blows before the wolf dissipates into the fog once more. Mira’s monster finally turns away from its research to snatch at the fleeing cloud. The wolf’s tail forcefully reforms in its grasp, followed by the remainder of the creature. Hypothesis confirmed. Perform further testing. The creation gathers more samples while Anne goes to tackle her now solid foe, and the knight comes in to finish the job.
Rolt’s glowing circle lights up around the source of the rift, drawing a path and target towards the widening void. As the lines go deeper into the fog, they become difficult to see, but anyone stumbling upon them will be able to follow them wherever they lead. For now, the only one following the lines is the cat-eared apothecary Rolt had backed up earlier, arriving on the scene on her stilt-legged rover. Light fires off from her machine, carving runes into the thick insect limbs forcing aside the edges of the rift. It does not seem to mind Iritola’s markings.
The sudden appearance of a plasma missile screaming far over the pair’s heads and into the rift is a different matter. Rolt and Iritola hear shrieks from a thousand different mouths as many of the arms fall back into the rift. An opening cleared, a seven-headed rat as tall as a horse pokes its head out of the rift. Each of the heads turns to either Rolt or Iritola. Before the seven minds can decide a move, Michi’s golden ethereal chains circle the bottom several feet of the rift, then tighten, forcing the abomination back into Elsewhere. Higher up, the hundreds of legs reposition themselves, although not as highly as before.
Zero returns to the edge of the battlefield, covered in mud but in one piece. She spots the young planeswalker, doubled over and trying to recover from a dozen planeswalks in a few short minutes. Zero sprints to her side and the girl falls over at the robot’s sudden appearance. “Don’t run!” Zero yells. Karina puts a hand to her chest and weakly waves with the other while gulping down breaths. “We need to close that!” She yells above the din and points to the rift. “But I can’t do it alone! We need everyone who can to get over there! Can you get them?”
Karina looked back to the battlefield, seeing only glimpses of the other planeswalkers amid the purple fog. She didn’t know who all could help or how to get to them. But… Leira’s telepathy! She could get to them! “I’ll do what I can,” she nods.
“Good. Now I’ll do what I can.” Zero rips her sword across her rifts, the red rift snapping shut nearly as soon as it opened. She charges into the fog. A green spell races ahead of her, giving Zero a familiar protective enchantment. A few moments behind, an intense flame ripples past her harmlessly, but burns away the fog caught in the wave and setting the remaining constructed forms alight. Her charge peters out as the battlefield clears away and the final remnants of the creature of Elsewhere burn and are felled by the other planeswalkers.
For a moment, the lines drawing towards the rift are visible across the battlefield as the other combatants catch their breath.
A ghastly tearing sound echoes across the Arena. The rift grows wider. A colossal figure breaks through the rift, standing over a thousand feet tall.
Or more accurately, falling a thousand feet tall. A thousand legs land in coiling paths around the Arena as the skyscraper millipede comes crashing down. The top portion of the creature is already dissolving from Nadejda’s missile, but the creature of Elsewhere is still in motion, though very slowly. Multiple segments land on a house, which groans under the weight, but does not collapse. The legs pull up the roof of the house and punch at the walls, then rapidly shovel the timber into one of countless mouths lining the creature’s underside. In a few noisy moments, the house has been reduced to nothing. The felled millipede struggles to move much from where it has fallen, but across the battlefield, houses, zombies, stray horses, foolish heroes, anything that lets itself get caught faces the same fate.
The house devoured, holes open all across the millipede. A hundred eggs fire across the battlefield. As they land, they unfurl into smaller copies of the dissolving millipede. Unlike their mother, the children do not dissolve away when harmed. Unlike their mother, they spring into action, chasing down the live prey all around for their next meal.

As Aylin is finishing off her foe, the static wave washes over her. As her mental barriers shatter, the one thought she deliberately pushes back every waking hour makes its way from her repressed memories to the front of her mind. As the memory hits her full force, her sanity is obliterated, and for a few seconds Michi, Doer, Atlani and anyone who is near her can see her screaming as she brutally punches the ground, causing it to shake dangerously, threatening to harm anyone close to her regardless of whether they're friend or foe.Through incredibly taxing force of will, Aylin manages to push those thoughts back into her subconscious before any real damage is done to her fellow fighters, but she is visibly pale and sweaty, and her hands are shaking. While she was still trapped with her past demons, the battle shifted, and now there are hundreds upon hundreds of millipedes swarming the place: a perfect distraction..."Is this the best you've got?! Well your little mindtrick couldn't break me!" she screams at the creatures of Elsewhere, who she believes are responsible for the static wave "And I don't care how big those things are, a bug is a bug, and regardless of size it can still be squished!"She rushes straight towards the insects, deliberately avoiding looking at those who witnessed her tantrum. Her body finally solidifying, she stands up shakily and surveys the battlefield. Whatever that hole in spacetime was, the things kept coming out. Avis knew a lost cause when she saw one. She wasn't equipped to fight an entire dimension's worth of horrible creatures, and she doubted the others were too. She was halfway through figuring out how to slip away from the battle without anyone noticing, whether to attack her or to brand her a coward, when a smell wafted over to her and she froze. It was tantalizing, it was mouth-watering, it was alluring. Fresh meat. Delicious flesh. Within moments, Avis lost what control she had. With a chorus of cracking and squelching, her head and upper body split back apart, sprouting countless teeth and a fleshy tongue as she dropped to all fours once again. Fleeing could wait, she still needed to feast after her last meal dissolved. With a gurgling screech, the parasite charged towards the nearest baby millipede, jaws open and ready to consume.

To anyone that's not actively fighting something, she sends a brief view of their locations with the colored flag so they know where the minimillipedes are. She does that every so often, to anyone that doesn't seem to know what's going on. The first priority in a large engagement is to make sure you are organized. The second is to actually help the engagement. And with such a large amount of creatures, someone needed to be on cleanup. Someone needed to deal with the source. An explosive went through once, and that seemed to work. The distance was so far up that no matter how big the explosion was, it wouldn't be to difficult to absorb the remnants of the blast this far down. Can a tenebrite rifle make that shot? It probably could, but Leira's sharpshooter friend had switched over to regular ammo to make sure that Leira stayed protected. She wasn't especially mobile while controlling such a large air force. Instead, that sounded like something she could do, albeit with difficulty. She couldn't touch any of the shells with proper aether, or they would detonate. Elemental energy, like that used by any number of Entelan spells, was entirely safe... but this meant any potential carriers could not afford to get hit, as the dispersion into aether would instantly detonate the shells. A flock of birds collected themselves into existence around Leira. She sent a message to the sniper, requesting access to their package of tenebrite shells. And each bird picked up one, leaving five birds to run interference, and one to run into the rift before the rest of them arrived, in case something was about to go wrong. The birds rushed up, then scattered, before starting to make their way to the rift.Five birds each carrying a payload, far enough apart that a single detonation wouldn't trigger the other ones. Five birds trying to protect them, running interference or serving as distractions. One bird heading straight for the rift, to act as an information source. Around 30 to 50 dragonflies providing vision of the battlefield. And one Leira relying on magic to control everything, burning through more and more of her aether to keep control of these things.
Hundreds Upon Hundreds front cast is probably 6/4 worth of creatures, maybe 9/6 worth of creatures for 4 mana? Which sounds like a lot when paired with a cantrip that draws a 6/4 with the same text. Might be fine at rare -- rares can be kinda silly -- but at uncommon you're definitely going to have to deal with someone casting two of these back to back and generating a very lethal board state. 6/10 Bombing Flight Creature - Elemental Bird Flying When Bombing Flight deals combat damage to a player, you may sacrifice it. If you do, it deals 4 damage to that player and 4 damage to up to one target creature they control. 4/3

As the mess of creatures explode into existence, Leira's processing magic mentally assigns them a color so they can be more easily identified. So many samples and so much learned from everyone else here! The thought of it makes her ecstatic - she'll have weeks of knowledge and data to analyze and identify to figure out how exactly the intruders of her plane function. But those samples won't be safe here. The stability of the monstrosity she's created is also in question, as she can feel her tether to it waning. But all of that wouldn't matter if she didn't make it out alive. She was acutely aware - how couldn't she be - of the immense, street-like monstrosity that cut across the laboratory. This one, she had hardly any idea how one might possibly dissolve or destroy it. In fact, if these monstrosities were as endless as she thought, the best course of action would be to close the rift somehow. That woman, the one with the birds, she had the right idea. The tired one. But Mira knew a thing or two about bottled energy - long nights of studying for the grueling courses and finals. The Witherbloom gauntlet, or so they called it - a seven-day ordeal of explorations, exams, and exhaustion. When those evenings dragged on, she came back to one specific place again and again - a small shoppe on the edge of campus that sold bittersweet drinks in big black bottles. Always with the long, long lines. She wouldn't be able to make it normally, but the items strewn about the lab - yeah, that would do for a quick fix. "Hey," she called out to Leira, handing her a bottle of something that wasn't quite bottled aether but that would nonetheless help her exhaustion. "Take this - it'll give you the energy to keep your focus." A Quicker Fix Sorcery Return up to two target creatures with total mana value X or less from your graveyard to the battlefield, then create a Vial token. X can't be zero. (They're artifacts with “ , Sacrifice this and another permanent: Draw a card. Activate this ability only during your turn.”)Pitched as a way to take the 'dying' out of studying, pest nectar was commonly sold out during finals season.
Allows us a way to recur any collateral damage from Famished Feast or gain life with it, as well as providing a way to recur Windy's Bombing Flight to continue the onslaught on the Creature of Elsewhere. Vial is kept on hand to sacrifice the 31/31 in case Mira's about to lose control over it. Hundreds Upon Hundreds: Yeah I think this suffers the rarity problem a bit more due to how it builds/snowballs upon itself. Would make the horror tokens smaller or alternatively make the scaling a bit more linear somehow? Not really sure how to do that though. 7/10.

fungustober Marwolar's Power - def prefer this as having a normal casting cost and Haakon text. cost on this is super weird, think its in that window where its worth ~4 but is also really unfun when this lands on t4 7/10 Curse of Existence - while super sweet, Overwhelming Splendor's cost is mostly coming from that one sided humilty. i think this needs to be at least 5 mana and could see it going higher. 6/10 Vidus can now conjure from Masters 25
Vidus can now create cards with mana value 4.
As the many legged beasts fall from the sky, something deep within Vidus whispers to him, telling him to run, to leave this problem to someone else. After all, he had been trying to get away from getting in fights like this. He considers this for a second, before shaking off the feeling. There are people that need help. What would Garel think of him abandoning people just like that? At that moment, Liera's telepathy finally reaches Vidus.
My name is Leira. I'm in control of the glowing dragonflies. For anyone that's disoriented by the chaos, I'm going to try to provide you with better vision of the battlefield. Vidus, finding new invigoration, reaches for the fading telepathic connection, managing to hold on to it just before it closes. Using a spell Garel had taught him years ago, Vidus reverses the connection and sends a message back towards Liera. Hello, my name is Vidus. Tell everyone that we need to close that rift, or more of these ugly beasts are gonna keep falling out of it. I'm gonna be heading to it to provide cover for anyone who can get it shut. He closes the connection and turns to the undead soldiers fighting away the beasts. "Come on! Clear a path! We're headed right into the heart of the storm... so to speak." The soldiers acknowledge Vidus's command and begin to change formation, carving a path directly into the center of the of the horde. Vidus follows in the center of the formation, using his magic to stop any of the millipedes from taking the undead, forcing the insectile beasts to decay, their carapaces cracking and flaking apart, their soft bits drying away, their bodies curling up and becoming dust. Hundreds Upon Hundreds: Very cool. Love that it works with the previous CEWs. 10/10Vidus conjures Plague Wind to destroy the Insects that Hundreds Upon Hundreds creates. Ashetaran Phalanx Creature - Zombie Soldier When ~ etb, up to one target creature gets -2/-2. Whenever another creature dies this turn, put a +1/+1 counter on ~. 2/2

From the shadows, a hooded elf with gilded blade in hand emerges, slashing in and out and attempting to eliminate as many of the children as possible. They duck in and out of the darkness, making attacks from every angle as they flit between the shadows cast by all those in the battle.Hundreds upon Hundreds: Love it. Super interesting design. 9/10

cajun 100 100 100 100 100: this card makes tokens based on things, which feels kinda "win more" but is cool at a base case too, if not bad at base case but it's probably a horror deck so it's aight 9/10. The red mist doesn't break his concentration - but the thoughts make their way into his mind. Overwhelming desires to end everything, to give in, and to survive compete with each other in equal measure, all lying in wait for his conscious mind to suffer from when he returns to the world around him. Unfortunately, this is sooner than expected, as after the pause, the sounds and events shake him out of his stupor, causing him to fall flat on his ass, swearing and spitting. The lines remain where they are on the field, blue and brighter than they once were, as he stands himself up.
Soon he's face to abdomen with a gigantic millipede. He quickly takes out his revolver and takes a shot at the thing's head, the round entering it's head and exploding in a blaze of fiery powder and flames - kill the head, the rest falls apart. The giant thing slams into the ground, lifeless, headless. 5 explosive shots left. He grimaces, rubbing the blood from his face with his coat sleeve, looking up to the impossibly large creature above him, spawning the monstrosities. He shakes his head, gripping it with his free hand, grunting from the pain and exertion of the overwhelming thoughts, doing his best to push them back, feeling a hand on his shoulder from behind. "Detective?""I'm fine!" he barks, shrugging her hand off of him. "I'm... fine. Fine." he says panting heavily, the numerous effects on his mind taking their toll, attempting to break through the barrier of fog, booze, magic and nicotine that shielded it from anything - even the positive force of the radar for the millipedes, even from any telepathy that might try and communicate with him, and barely from the red mist that would have forced him to revert to his base instincts. Fighting in the dark, as always. "J-just, let me get back to what I was do... d-doing." he says, kneeling again, wobbly as he tries to regain his focus. Between the lines, symbols and runes start to appear at the feet of everyone in the width of the circle - which was most, if not all, combatants.
As Rolt mumbles his incantation, he falls on his rear again, swearing loudly, and the runic lines under everyone start to fade. Face it "detective". You're not cut out for this.Give in to the monsters. Be their dinner. You let me die, didn't you? It's your turn now.No riddle to solve - other than how you could possibly get out of this one. "Shut your traps! Get out of my head! Out! Out out OUT!" he screams, gripping his head with both hands. He screws his eyes shut, the voices nagging at him, tormenting him. A piercing shriek is heard from under the rift, and flames erupt in a pillar around him, swirling and shimmering, seeking out the mother of the creatures.
Mind Crack Sorcery ~ deals damage to each player equal to the number of cards in that player's hand. Then, if that player was dealt 5 or more damage this way, exile that player's graveyard. (exactly Burn Away exists so this has """precedent""") good gods I'm edgy as hell. I love it. Also I have no idea how to word that but you get it, and that's good enough for me.

Michi flips through his pages and casts a spell…
...
Hundreds Upon Hundreds: 8/10. It feels weird to have horror tribal without blue, but beyond that, this is “make somewhere from 2 to a zillion 3/2s” I do like the Coalesce version. I think ultimately it comes down to what the expected value is for how many you're making. After ensuring the lion's demise, Atlani regained her composure and followed Leira's guidance towards the minimillipedes. She prepared an arrow, then aimed high above them and fired. Similar to a trick she'd done before, lightning pulsed through the arrow, and it shattered in mid-air, the electrified fragments raining down upon the millipedes, a powerful burst present in each, waiting for contact. Chainshock Instant ~ deals 2 damage to each of X targets.

For a moment, the lines drawing towards the rift are visible across the battlefield as the other combatants catch their breath.

babies are the size shown in the art and are ‘real’, ie they bleed and are made of meat. Momma millipede on the ground stands around 20ft/6m tall and runs about 1300ft/400m long, and isn’t moving around much
dragonspit999 Shield Smasher - super slick 10/10 Argel took a sigh and tried to wipe the remains off his sword as the battlefield seemed to lighten up a bit. He finally started to come to terms with the danger of what he had just done but it still weighed on him. Any fault, any slip up, and he would no longer be checking the board in town. No longer be helping the helpless villagers in various locales. No longer be slaying rats for drink coin. No longer laughing in the tavern alongside the tallest of tales. That was really something to consider. The people here seem to be capable. Should I just leave it in their hands? Surely they don't need me, right? If I just--RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP TEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAR The rift widens to ever larger proportions, releasing yet more horrors upon this plane. It was seemingly like the first monster he fought in town, if only many, many more legs and much, much larger. As he considered these distinctions and if they mattered for the fear that was beginning to take hold, it fell and consumer an entire house. The legs grab being after being unfortunate enough to approach. With a shake, holes open and hundreds more of the horrors are released. Smaller and yet so much more real. You no longer had to approach. The hunger began to seek fresh prey. Alger could really use another hit of that better-than-alcohol mind juice right about now. He closed his eyes and focused. Pushing out the noises of the skittering and fighting, he took a deep breath. Plunging his sword in the ground, he opened his eyes as a wave of magic pushed outward. A sphere of energy surrounded him, lightning running along the surface occasionally. One of the millipedes was coming straight for him, so he pulsed more energy into the blade and the barrier slammed forward against the creature, sending volts through it. He pushed the barrier as far as it could go, and it caught several more of the creatures as it raced out to a ~15ft sphere. If any other creatures came into contact with it, the static running along it would burst outwards onto the creature in an effort to temporarily stop the creature, buying time for people with real answers. If too many of the creatures came at him at the same time, however... There's no way he could hold this against that much force. Static Shieldmage Creature - Dragon Wizard Level up [Level 1+] , : Tap target creature. [Level 2+] , : Tap up to two target creatures. Prevent all combat damage they would deal this turn. 1/2 Hundreds upon Hundreds: 7.5/10. Its been fairly clear, I hope, that these belong in a format where uncommon is just a bit more pushed than expected. Even then, this might be a bit too far. Perhaps if it only made the multiples on coalesce cast? A bit sad to have blueless horror tribal, even if its just revelation tribal.

mrlozano Doer, Bladewhirler - interesting tradeoffs vs Goblin Chainwhirler, this would need a real particular environment to thread the needle of oppressive vs ineffective though. 8/10Michi, Wielder of Truths - i like the concept here, it might be a bit too confusing in some cases, for example when you scry and leave the same card on top. 9/10 Doer jumps, getting out of range of Aylin's outburst, and erroneously landing in the center of a group of small millipedes. "Gross, I meowing hate insects." Doer stabs at the growing group of millipedes that surround him. "They don't meowke good prey! Always so smeowll." He sweeps at the horde. "And they outnumber meow!" A few meters away, Michi is fully concentrated on trying to stop the flow of creatures from the rift, but with seemingly no luck. But, sensing his brother in dager, he rips a page from his sketchbook and throws it to Doer. The bigger cat jumps again, catching the paper in the air. It has a drawing of a dragonlike beast, fully covered in fire. Doer stabs it with the Weapon, and the magic contained in the drawing explodes in a fireball covers both the two cats and the millipedes surrounding them. When the fire and the smoke dissolves, Michi and Doer stand unharmed among the charred corpses of the insects.p Fureball Sorcery ~ deals 2 damage to each creature with power 3 or less and each player. "Get it? That's what I call a sick burn." - Doer
Everyone is wrathing the board, I want to wrath the board too! Hundreds Upon Hundreds: Yeah, this is a strong uncommong, but I don't think its really that broken. With the four colored cost, this is realistically not getting played until turn 5 or 6 in most games. But I agree that when it's good, it's rrally strong. 8/10

Momma millipede on the ground stands around 20ft/6m tall and runs about 1300ft/400m long, and isn’t moving around much While she was still trapped with her past demons, the battle shifted, and now there are hundreds upon hundreds of millipedes swarming the place: a perfect distraction...This is the one who built the grave. A potential complication, or an opportunity for as long as she is here. "Shut your traps! Get out of my head! Out! Out out OUT!" he screams, gripping his head with both hands. He screws his eyes shut, the voices nagging at him, tormenting him. When the jaws of the progenitor seek to close on The Knight's stray steed, the latter shatters into shards of refracting light, which fade into memories. Syr Lothaire remains on foot, though not so much on the ground, as they cross the battle in leaps and bounds. They dispatch each of the millipede brethren with swift and brutal attacks, aiming to first drive the many dancing weapons through their heads, then tear the blades through the length of each foe. The Knight does not wait for the burning wounds of any husk to render it ash, instead leaping to slay the next monster.
Though Lothaire is steadily making their way to the less impressive combatants, among them Argel and Atlani, they note that much has been done to repel the immediate threat of the progeny, and the more distant threat of the rift itself, yet almost nothing is being done for the monstrous progenitor. Then Rolt shrieks, unleashing a pillar of flame, and the narrative falls into place. Momentarily, Aylin and Rolt find themselves in a battlefield lit by brilliant beams of sunlight breaking through the clouded heavens, and in the pillar of flames manifest the beings of memories past.
First, dragged along by the rush of flames, is the beloved mere mortal mentor, disintegrating in the grasp, leaving behind an impulsive harbinger of ash. Then, lightning courses through the clouds of smoke, and from them emerges an ancient evil, a once noble woman, now only an undying memory with sparks trailing from her eyes. Lastly, from the smoke itself, the dark manifestation of a demon, feeding on the turmoil of Aylin and Rolt both. Together the three phantoms spawned of flame blaze across the great monster consuming the horizon, and seek to consume it themselves. Though the vision of a brighter world quickly fades away for Aylin and Rolt, the manifestations remain for all to see.Dreams of Wild Freedom Enchantment Flash Prevent all noncombat damage that would be dealt to creatures you control. Whenever damage is prevented this way, Dreams of Wild Freedom deals that much damage to target opponent. Or better yet, never forget me at all.We have multiple board wipes in play. We'll keep our own creatures, and make some progress on the opposing life total, whatever it could be. Hundreds upon Hundreds — The scaling on this is extremely steep, and worse when taken out of vacuum into external support for horrors, such as changelings. As it is, it is slightly below par for its default case, is slightly below par for default case on back as well, but even with one other horror, both cases greatly overshoot, and realistically, this can get out of hand very quickly. Also rarity of mass token generation is a thing. With all that in mind, this is the most fitting 4c revelation so far in terms of pie, as blue is the worst when it comes to creating large numbers of creature tokens, but this is also by virtue of how narrow the effect is in terms of pie. Besides that, this is a fun way to bring us back together after all the conjures, and has the credit of being a 4c revelation. 6/10

Cyria Agraud from Wrenn, cameo with permission (Lighten Up isn't an attack, just a flavorful defense for some of the heroes of the realm who couldn't make it) babies are the size shown in the art and are ‘real’, ie they bleed and are made of meat. Momma millipede on the ground stands around 20ft/6m
Hundreds Upon Hundreds I think the scaling on this is pretty swingy, even in the base line being 6/4 worth of stats for 4. There's not a good frame of ref for 4 color base lines but as an uncommon, this feels like a lot in an environment that can produce 4 or 5 colors easily. 6/10Yakana takes pause to see how her spell takes to the rest of the battlefield. The jailer beneath her had become untethered from it's own bonds and wandered off before disappearing entirely upon the defeat of the wolf. Yakana scowls a bit as she surveys her surroundings.
I give these bozos the truest of free wills and half of them crumple like I punched them in the gut. There is NO way I'm letting them act like that was a bad idea. It was a great idea! . . . Probably. Endless voids it was a bad idea! How could I expect them to take to it well?
Completely lost in thought, Yakana misses the emergence of a new massive foe, unly looking skyward once more at the great rumbling of it's descent to the soil. Determined to do something actually helpful in the contingency someone thinks this is her fault, she rushes towards the creature at blistering speed.
Like a distended slimy cannonball, members of the beast's brood launch out from their progenitor. Midair and writing, one of the spawn hook a mandible into Yakana's dress and drag her down with it, her weightless body pulled with ease. On all sides Yakana becomes enraptured. Yakana's eyes are wide, and to no avail she attempts to push the creatures away. When bitten or scratched, Yakana's skin tears open like the laymen's flesh, but not a drop of blood escapes from her; nevertheless, she yelps in pain.
Both supremely embarrassed, and fearful for her life, Yakana writhes and struggles to twist herself down to the ground, placing her palm on the ground. A ring of energy pulses out from her palm, and in a small sphere around Yakana, the world becomes weightless. Yakana manages to wriggle out from the brood, whom themselves are waving about in the lack of gravity.
"I really hate to say this but can I please have some assistance?" Yakana's voice echoes out to great distances. While not in great volume, the air that carries her voice warbles past it and allows the sound waves to flow freely all around her.
Yakana has unlocked the Schemer perk.

Across the field, the assembled fighters tear through the millipedes. Rocks and fireballs and lightning rain from the sky, providing additional danger for those further infield. An undeterred scientist tears across the battle, devouring the delicious bugs. A new warrior joined the fight, melting in and out of shadows to stay out of harm’s way. The undead army began to clear the illuminated paths towards the rift.
Zero tries to make sense of the map projected to her by Leira. Many combatants were either dispatching the creatures with ease or had others backing them up, but a dragonman nearby was not doing as easily. She races to Argel, her blade lashing out to carve gashes into millipedes as she does. She jumps on a creature approaching Argel, the bug’s armor and legs crumpling under her considerable weight. Zero remains around the electric perimeter, ensuring he does not get overswarmed.
Leira’s aether bird breaks across the rift into Elsewhere. The pitch black of the rift is nearly all consuming around the bird, save for the few light sources; a glittering red copy of the very rift it had arrived from, swarmed with dozens of smaller aberrations each giving off a light glow, but being held back by a ring of golden chains rising from the ground level. The creatures of Elsewhere are piling atop each other, each trying to climb over the others to reach the still open portion of the rift. Back on the Arena, the massive millipede can offer no resistance as the bomb squad makes its move for the rift.
The tenebrite detonates. The purple explosion breaches back across the rift, making short work of the millipedes caught in the blast and taking a large chunk of the street-sized mother. In Elsewhere, creatures of all shapes and sizes are obliterated back into aether and again back into nothingness in the chain reaction. In the explosion’s wake, the rift has broken up, with strands of the sky peeking back through. It still towers into the sky, but it is beginning to break.
Karina stumbles her way to Entelan among the explosions. “Miss Leira!” she yells, “We need to get anyone who can close the rift over there! If we have enough people all at once, we can close it!” She scans over Leira, noting the sheer aether drain she is performing. “Oh, I have one of these,” she says. A ghostly outline of an aether canister appears in her hand, then color ripples across it as the real thing is pulled across the planes. “It’s for emergencies, but this super counts right now.”Soon after the fox makes her call for aid cry, a pole weapon comes flying from the battlefield, skewering one of the airborne millipedes. A cord in the pole retracts, dragging the spike-laden Experiment[3] into the fray, shredding more of the bugs on the way. The robot has no particular skill proves useless at bringing the fox down, but ensures her safety from the millipedes.
The undead army descends upon the quiet rift, preparing to let the casters heralds close the rift safely. It should seem a cause for celebration, that the fight is almost at its end, but something weighs heavily upon the minds of the fighters. Was all this danger worth it?
The growing mental toil is too much for the detective, who loses his cool head and his temper. A pillar of flames erupts to finally kill try to disturb the lumbering mother millipede. The grandstanding fool noble Knight takes advantage of it all. From the detective's outburst, the scars and stories of the tormented blaze across the mother. The three great villains of the knight's creation feast upon the dissolving millipede, much like the twisted scientist upon her progeny children, uncaring of their cries.
From the horrible flames, a golden light takes shape. A sword as bright as the sun takes a swipe for the demon’s form. On brilliant wings, the angel flies unscathed from the traumatic story and towards the rift, landing ahead of the undead ring……and crumbles away to dust as a mosaic of skulls breaks through the rift two hundred feet in the sky. The undead army obediently stands down as the colossus decorated in bones of countless creatures known and unknown forces its way around easily steps over Michi and Leira’s attempts to close off the rift. The crumbled angel picks itself back up, still looking like a pile of dust, but now reformed into one lumbering form.
The hunched amalgam of bones drops to all fours. One hand crushes into the undead army, scrambling the pieces of the zombies and letting them too reform, the pieces of each pulling themeselves into three more general titans; One building itself from the bones of the fallen, one of the flesh and earth remaining, and one of whatever spell still tried to hold them together. None stood the terrible awe-inspiring height of the colossus, but each still greater than any one combatant.
The second hand sweeps for the gravekeeper, attempting to grab him up in a hand taller than himself formed entirely of assorted bones.

Coming to her senses, Avis quickly dives behind some debris, hoping it protects her. Without the parasite, she has nothing. Without the parasite, she is dead meat. These worries are only exemplified by the newest giant creature's aura of hopelessness. Avis almost begins hyperventilating behind her makeshift cover, before taking a deep breath and closing her eyes. She is a genius. She is a researcher. She is more than a vessel for a hungry ball of alien flesh. She can do something. Focusing on what she knows, Avis thinks back to every tale she heard on the parasite's travels, every powerful relic other planes spoke of, anything she could pull from her thoughts and use to live through this battle. Through her focus, she finds a memory of a disc that could eradicate everything around it at the drop of a hat. Avis grits her teeth. She'd never done this before, leaving this magic summoning malarkey to the parasite, but now was as good a time as any to learn. Carefully, as if in a trance, she brings her hand to her head and begins pulling, the skin of her forehead stretching out farther than should be possible. Suddenly, the stretched flesh breaks, and in Avis' hand, with strips of skin hanging off of it, is a facsimile of the disc relic she was thinking of. Avis stared at it for a few moments, shocked at her accomplishment. She shakes her head - no time to bask in her victory - and quickly begins fiddling with the disc, trying to find some way to activate the destructive power it was rumored to have.
Death Will Not Save You - Card name is obviously a banger, feels really cool, though not sure if it's justifiably four color. 8/10

Conjure - Avis is summoning Nevinyrral's Disk from her memories through forcibly traveling the planes.

How many of these things are there? Atlani gazed upon the breaking rift, the sky shining behind it, and the titans constructing themselves in front of it. Is all this danger worth it? No. There is not time to think such things. I haven't the strength to fell them all, but I am not alone. If I cannot organize the death of these creatures, how can I hope to organize the liberation of Tarkir? She picks herself up, and looks to see who is present among the fighters, and which of them are nearest to her. I count myself among those who cannot close the rift, and thus among those defending those who can. Any who wish should attempt a flank on the one made of bodies!" fungustober Ashetaran Phalanx - nice rav chupa sidegrade 9/10 Vidus collapses. He had spent the last bit of his energy just to get to the rift. The darkness around him dissipates entirely as a gigantic skeletal hand closes around him, his father's army having entirely abandoned him, either driven mad by their own existence or joined into the forces of the invaders. There was no hope. Vidus could only feel the amalgam's hand carrying him upwards— to an end which Vidus was sure would be final. He simply let his eyes close and drifted into the inky blackness. And from it, as if emerging from some dark pool, rose his father's face. Vidus could not make out any expression. It was hard to, as his father's eyelids had rotted away ages before Vidus was even born. His skin was pulled taut around his face, with the skin of his cheeks having been lost in some long-forgotten battle, leaving him with a gaping, ghastly grin. In his right eye socket, there was nothing save for empty space. In his left, sat a light, much like the one that emanates from Vidus's shovel, yet many time stronger. It burrowed deep into Vidus's mind, exploring every nook and cranny. The two study each other for what feels like an eternity. "No," his father says at last. "I still have use for you." The light in Marwolar's eye becomes a deep crimson, washing over Vidus. "Go. Destroy them. Make them rue the day they decided to defy you. Your vengeance will be swift and deadly. It will pour down upon them like a rain of ash and cinder, burning away their very being. The fire that still smolders within you will light a bonfire underneath them, and they will be as kindling before your power. Use the gift which I have given you."
Vidus struggles. "What good will the shovel do against them?" Marwolar laughs.
"The shovel was never your gift, Vidus. Your gift was always inside you. All the shovel does is amplify it. Unleash it upon them, my son. Make them feel fear."
Two skeletal hands emerge from the darkness and push Vidus backwards and upwards, sending him floating out of the blackness, light beginning to pierce his eyelids once more. Vidus could feel the boney texture of the giant's hand as it carried him upwards. He could smell the destruction, the death. He could hear the pandemonium, the screams, the fighting. In between it all, a hum permeates Vidus's mind. He reaches towards it with the last final ounces of strength, running purely on fumes. He grasps onto it. The vibration makes its way down Vidus's spine, spreading like a drop of blood in water, filling up every corner of his body. His eyes shoot open. His teeth chatter. His hands shake. The darkness coalesces around him once more, stronger, inkier than before. He pulls his shovel off of his back, but he doesn't need it to stand up. The darkness thickens around Vidus to a point where the only thing breaking through the fog being the red light shining from the small jewel on the handle of his shovel.
A fracturing wave erupts from him, reducing the amalgam's hand to dust. As he falls, he swings the shovel down, cutting through the beast's form, sundering it in two. The darkness spreads from the cut, reducing everywhere it touches to nothing. The giant— or what's left of it— tries to stop the expansion, but each attempt simply spreads the rot further. Its body falls to the ground with a great, loud noise, the noise echoing throughout the battleground. Now down below, Vidus cuts through hordes upon hordes, the beasts evaporating before him and his shovel, which cuts through the enemies, a molten knife through paper. Death Will Not Save You: Absolutely sick. Love this kind of show and tell effect. 10/10Vidus conjures Vindicate to destroy what Death Will Not Save You puts onto the battlefield.
