FeedbackIdea: I like this! Maybe 4-toughness is a bit strong for common and reach+deathtouch. I like the activated ability. I'd prefer it if it jsut affected creatures attacking you instead of target player, but overall neat design. elchetibo: Pretty strong for a 1-mana creature! Feels more white in effect than green, though. It's ability is basically infected ping to an attacker. I this would make more flavorful sense as a green card if it was just on enters rather than a tap. melono: That enters surveil 2 is strong, and the effect to weaken the creature each turn is also quite strong. Mut since it has to become tapped to weaken... I guess power is OK. Wonder what the art would show, lol. viriss: I like this a lot. Very flavorful; I can imagine the effect happening. "Destroy the sword! Oh, you got a bit of acid burn too? Even better!" I like the funky mana cost, too. We should see more of those. Resultviriss wins with a neat design. Second is Idea.

Nice and Cozy Enchantment - Aura Enchant nonland permanent Enchanted permanent can't attack, block or activate abilities. All that fighting becomes meaningless once you are wrapped in a fuzzy blanket and have some warm apple pie in your hand.

elchetibo Very cosy farmstead. Feels like Stardew Valley. I think X is too good as a repeatable on an uncommon. Creating food seems fine, but the potential to create repeatable mass worries me. =) Idea White fogs are always fun. Festival plus more! melono Super cozy... though I think this card already exists Suppression BondsFlo00 Adorbs! Everyone gets a chance to rest! At common i'm glad it doesn't also tap the creature when equipped. Also strange to see an equipment without an equip ability. Winner Flo00

Sorry for the long absence; I kept myself busy in RL. {Idea}Good cost for rewriting a spell. I think the order is a bit strange, since changing the mode may change what targets a spell can have so that should come first.
{melono}I like this. It's interesting that it is symmetrical yet you actually have the disadvantage when you play this on a full board since the other player's original creatures will phase in while yours are phased out.
{elchetibo}Simple and interesting. I like how this kind of has built-in protection from burn spells.

I could be mistaken, but I'm fairly certain since they are connected by "and" and they are in the same paragraph, the target choosing change and mode change are happening simultaneously (or else you can choose the order).

Cockadoodledoo! {Spoiler} elchetibo - KFC card: I was expecting a KFC joke somewhere, but it being the first was outside of scope. It’s a good representation of chicken-as-food, as our chef Sanders also have to prepare the chicken for us upon its death. Two green and a tap feels fine balancewise. Idea - Headless Chicken: The balance seems alright to strong with current designs. Flavor I find is lacking though. Why is it a knight? It doesn’t have that in its abilities either. The creating of more zombie birds upon hit also doesn’t seem to come from anywhere. Mechanics are good, flavor is not. viriss - Chicken!: And this is why punctuation matters: creature’s, not creatures. The choice makes being for the controller makes this a lot less powerful, but at the same time, makes it much more balanced and more correct in color. Red’s still a bit dubious. Good reference to the cowardice meaning.

Note: Yes, I do know that casting this in response to something will not trigger this card's ability for the thing it is responding to or anything else in that stack.

I guess the fact it’s a Dullahan didn’t come across. Apologies, but it indeed did not come across to me. For the market: Flea Market Enchantment : Create a 0/1 green Insect creature token. Whenever an Insect you control dies, create a Treasure token. ( It’s an artifact with “, Sacrifice this artifact: Add one mana of any color.”)

| Red Market One generic and three red
Enchantment
If an effect would exile a card you own and allow you to cast it, do so. You may also cast it for as long as you control Red Market and it remains exiled.
At the beginning of your precombat main phase, add a red for each card in exile you own which you can cast. Red Market deals that much damage to you.
The card art is Bioshock Infinite - Market Fire by Artist.
It depicts a corner store after a riot or looting spree. The street is littered with broken boxes. All of the store's windows and its main entrance's door are smashed. In the empty door frame, a woman wearing a dress with her hair in a tight bun, sweeps up the mess in silohette, backlit by the still on going fire inside the store.
|
I know "Black Market" was just an extanting turn of phrase that got itself a magic card or three, but I ask the bold if stupid question, why should black have all the fun? Red market turns the temporary card advantage of impulse draws into semi-permanent card advantage, and gives you the means to cast them, but at the cost of damage if you don't manage your castable exiled cards carefully. It's obviously much worse than Black Market, but I think that's more too do with Black market being too good than this being bad. Maybe it'd be fine without the damage clause. It'd probably be fine without the damage clause.
