Zameck Evolvomancer Creature — Ape Mutant Wizard , : Exile target Ape. Its controller may reveal cards from the top of their library until they reveal a Human card, then puts it onto the battlefield. Put the revealed cards on the bottom of their owner’s library in a random order. No matter what it might look like, there’s no monkey business in the Simic.3/3

Thanks for the win ^-^
We've been given a new creature type in ELD, so let's use it. Design a warlock. So far we've seen them in mono-black and Esper, but I'm not gonna restrict what colors you can use, just make it fun

Just a heads up, I'm incredibly sick, so I'm gonna let this one go a bit longer than normal. Hopefully we get some more entries before I get back

Alright, less entries than I was hoping for, but let's get things moving. { viriss}I love the thematic and mechanical connection between Warlocks, fiendish creatures, and sacrificing things for more power. I can't quite put my finger on it, though, but something here feels off. The P/T, CMC, and rarity just don't feel right, and I honestly couldn't tell you what I think needs to be done about it. Maybe it could be a 2/2, maybe it could be uncommon, I don't know. I'm not gonna let that weigh too negatively, though, since it's just a vague feeling that I can't cite any reasoning for, but it's definitely worth noting. { fluffydeathbringer}As someone who plays D&D 5e, I like the idea that Warlocks can have any creature type as a patron. This angelic Warlock is an interesting take, thematically, and the mechanics are solid, it's maybe just a bit bland. That's not necessarily awful, a lot of workhorse cards aren't exactly exciting, but they get the job done. {@niridulian}First off, I'm not entirely sure what this gains by being a Warlock and a Wizard, other than all the other "magus" cards are wizards. The Distress effect is alright, but I don't think it's anywhere near the caliber of the spells the other sac-magus cards emulate. {Winner}I'm going to give the win this time to viriss. I think this card represents how Warlocks should work in general, regardless of what color they are. Even though it's pretty black, mechanically, I think the creature type could carry these mechanics into other colors on occasion. I also think it's a better Warlock than any of the actual ELD ones, thematically.

I knew many snakes had an ability to show their venomous nature (mostly by either having deathtouch or causing poison counters) whereas other allowed you to draw cards / care about drawn cards - however looking through all snakes in the game I noticed quite a few ones having reach as well. So this lead me to..

Thanks for the win! So, flavor-wise, I really love the Aetherborn. We got one that wasn't monoblack, but that's precedence enough for me. So the challenge: design an Aetherborn that isn't monoblack. Obviously Aetherborn are pretty aesthetically unique, so I can't really blame anyone if cards lack renders this time around.

Creature -- Aetherborn Pirate Whenever one or more counters are removed from an opponent or a permanent an opponent controls, create two Treasure tokens.
1/4
This card is meant to act as a hate card against Energy and planeswalker-focused decks. They spend Energy while you rake in the profits. I don't know if this syntax is perfect, but I figure it's good enough that a player can, like, parse its meaning sitting at a kitchen table. I also recognize that Kaladesh predates Treasures, but whaaaaatever.

Life-Settled Aetherborn Creature - Aetherborn Life-Settled Aetherborn enters the battlefield with three +1/+1 counters. Prevent all damage that would be dealt to Life-Settled Aetherborn. At the beginning of your upkeep, move a +1/+1 counter from Life-Settled Aetherborn onto another creature. 0/0 This Aetherborn has come to peace with the idea that it's life is going to end soon and uses it's remaining life force to strengthen others.

Powerburst Aetherborn Creature - Aetherborn Berserker Haste, trample Powerburst Aetherborn enters the battlefield with X +1/+1 counters on it. When Powerburst Aetherborn dies, you get X , where X equals the number of +1/+1 counters on Powerburst Aetherborn. 0/0

Bit of a quick judging this time FLAREdirector I like the pirate theme, the colors fit both pirates and aetherborn we already have, and the effect is fun and unique. Probably could use some slight rewording, but it gets the point across well enough for me. It could probably just create one treasure token at a time, as well, but I appreciate that it only triggers once per instance of counters being removed, and not just once per counter, as that would definitely be too powerful. Flo00 Essentially Weapon Rack with legs. Seems alright, and I love the flavor of it. The main problem (though I'm pretty sure this was intended) is that if it's your only creature, not only does it get weaker as your turns go on, but it actually makes your opponent's board stronger. Not a huge fan of that. viriss I like the tie between +1/+1 counters and energy production, but I feel like this could get out of hand. While BR don't deal with counters a lot, all it takes is a green splash and suddenly this thing is gonna get you a ton of energy. Not to mention it can be done pretty much whenever you need it to, through BR's sac mechanics or damaging/withering effects, and is repeatable with black's graveyard control. As much as I love the idea of +1/+1 counters being tied to the uncertain nature of an aetherborn's life, I'm gonna give the win to FLAREdirector. I feel his card leads to the most interesting choices for both players, doesn't have any real downsides, but also isn't stiflingly powerful.
