Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of each week, a winner will be determined by forum poll. The winner's card will be rendered and featured on the Welcome page, and the winner decides the challenge for the next week's Contest! Here we go, competitors: our five-hundred and thirty-second challenge! The winner of the "Vertical is the new horizontal" poll was The Harlequin with...And the challenge issued by our winner was... Well, these little touches represent the doing of some "Wild Gods" on a plane BunBunGun referes to as "Nahal'or, Realm Of Eternal Gods". But she never expended on her idea of this world other than some rough concept drafts, sketches and unfinished short stories about the origin of some of them. And tldr: There are a lot of Gods. (Yes, I yoinked some of her stories here. I will give them back, promise)Ro'huul for example is a very kind earth elemental with an affinity for gardening. But don't step on his herbs. He doesn't likes that. Lo'haari tends to hide her wild appearance behind thick roots and leafs. That may show her as an introverted being, but her ambition to protect others and tending those in need often shown in an amusing way. Nal'ooka is, well.... herself.... sometimes. Other times she is a he and other times an it and other times an ancestor of old. Stupid trickster. But she just likes to be under people. Being a God can be very lonely sometimes. So I would like us to extent on this idea of Wild Gods with quirks. Design a mono colored Wild God with a theme/personality attached to it. To increase your chances of winning and to also make creating the poll easier on whomever is doing so, please try to use a render. Additionally, please try to keep your entry edits all in one post - if you need to change it you can put your old entry in a spoiler marked "Old entry" and leave the newest rendition to be seen. Just use the edit button in the top/right of your original post. And now, time to begin the challenge! Best of luck, competitors!

I'm assuming we're supposed to base this one of the aforementioned Wild gods @bunbunbun came up with? If so, could a link be provided to these?
Or alternatively I'm misunderstanding, and if so is the idea for us to come up with a wild god ourselves (as opposed to getting one from those gods). If it's this, is there anything that characterizes wild gods in general as a group, as in what precisely is a wild god in this context and what do they all have in common?

And I assume given the lack of answer to the second question that there is nothing in particular in common or which characterizes wild gods in general?

Or sentient plants. Or a squid. Or an ancient tree. Just don’t overthink it — Go with an interpretation that you affiliate with it. As long as it isn’t a „typical“ god I am fine with everything.

Edit: {Expositing}Survival is competition. Competition with high and low, foes and friends and family alike. Some will persist and others consigned to oblivion. Se'Bearf is a capricious god, a lover of cunning and novelty, and of consuming those who become haughty in their success and halt their change. Normally it inhabits a shape between mist and ooze - a living plague - , and many meet their end with a mere touch of sniff, but if one is unlucky enough to come across them in a desolated land, of seeing the true form that judges the fittest.

Idea : Isn't the Adventure supposed to be on the left? The Saproling God Legendary Creature--God Trample, indestructible, Saprolinglink (Damage dealt by this creature also causes you to create that many 1/1 green Saproling creature tokens.)
The Saproling God’s power and toughness are each equal to the number of Saproling permanents you control. The Saproling God can’t attack or block unless you control five or more Saproling permanents. Sacrifice three Saprolings: The Saproling God gains shroud until end of turn. : Create a 1/1 green Saproling creature token. */*

sdfkjgh normally yes. However the MSE template allows you to reverse it, and this case reversing it prevented me from needing to shrink the text.

| {Tica Tema, The Long-Cinder Two red and two generic
Legendary Enchantment Creature – Snake God
Divine Umbra (As Tica Tema enters, create Divine Presence, a colorless enchantment aura with enchant god and umbra armor, then attach it to Tica Tema.)
Spells you own in exile cost a generic less to cast.
Whenever you cast a red spell from exile, exile the top of your library. If it is a land card, choose target permanent. Tica Tema deals 2 damage to that permanent and you repeat this process. Otherwise, you may cast it this turn.
3/4
The card art is Butterflies - Character Concepts by Juliane Hernandes Barone (Anebarone).
It depicts a snake coiled around itself and floating in the air. The snake is on fire from the inside or made of fire.

The thing wit gods is that indestructability is a really powerful ability to just give something as a part of its' type identity. Yeah, you can build the set around it wit exile effects and whatnot, but if the plane is gonna be lousy wit gods, you'd probably want to tone it down at least a little wouldnt ya? I think my idea of Divine Umbra is a good middle ground twixt the indestructability of Nyx and Amonket gods and nothing at all: The card creates its own umbra armor token aura, so you get one free murder per ETB. Opens the way for fun little effects like, "Destroy target creature twice," to be meaningful if slightly parasitic designs. This is obviously designed to be a game piece that curves out after Laelia: it makes it easier to cast the cards Laelia exiles and rewards you for doing so wit more Laelia triggers. The only problem is that the 'repeat this process' clause is probably a bit too good, but I wanted to give the player something. if they couldn't play a land: I'm not sure if I love it.

Well, the COTW challenge seems kind of all over the place (So much that I entirely missed that the challenge asked specifically for "monocolored" creautres, lol). But I think I have something that sort of fits the challenge (I think...):
So, I made a mistake and completelly missed that the challenge was exclusively for mono colored creatures, lmao.
When I first read the challenge I thought about a specific piece of art by Sandara (which I couldn't find) which depicted a sort of "goddess of fertility" however, after not being able to find the art I ended up thinking about the concept that I wanted the card to embody, fertility and motherhood while aligned with the Green part of the color pie, I thought about Symbiosis mostly, a concept which lately, thanks to the Alien Saga and Marvel's Symbiotes, has gained a less than stellar reputation, often getting this "malignant" quality added to it, not taking into the fact that parasitism is only a very small part of everything that Symbiosis encompases, while my original design moved towards the "forced evolution" aspects simic provides, and the fungal golgari flavor, I ended up using an old mechanic from Avacyn Restored, Soulbond, which allows creatures to pair each other to help each other, much like symbiosis actually looks like.
Thank you so much Idea for the heads up, letting me fix my design.

Visi is a wild god who is very tempermental, and very territorial and protective of her seas. She will not hesitate to throw huge waves at anyone she deems a hostile intruder.

@ The Harlequin: "Protection from X" includes "cannot be blocked by X", so the Lure-ability doesn't work.

EDIT: That one works just fine And I am not blinking myself out because I took thinks without asking. For sure not me.
