Sinister Quill Artifact - Equipment When ~ enters the battlefield, attach it to target creature you control. Equipped creature gains +1/-1, for each "clause" counters on ~. At the end of each turn, put a "clause" counter on ~. When equipped creature dies, all creatures get -X/-X for each "clause" counter on ~, then exile it. Equip or pay 7 life.

This accursed challenge… will be judged now! {Spoiler} Idea - Force of Tyranny: You want it to do too much. The card ain’t got room for that. And the current fontsize would be too big still, because you’re missing that it’s “any player that is the monarch may use this ability” and more importantly, the bottom ability doesn’t tell you what to do with the remaining two cards. elchetibo - Sinister Quill: Either a boost or a wrath, but you’ll have to be patient for it. Really quite like the mechanics of it, and 7 life or is a steep cost, but this is a repeatable boardwipe, so it’s understandable. Having something like a Blood Artist next to it might be able to alleviate some of that 7 life. viriss - Malefic Totem: A little bit broken currently, because you can pay 0 energy counters. If you need endless activations; with that 0 energy it’s possible. And without it being passed back, it mills for only 2 each turn. It’s probably more useful as selfmill rather than wanting to give it to someone else. Which you can do when you don’t want to mill anymore, so that’s cute. {Spoiler} Giving the win to the pen you make the contract with a devil with: elchetibo

Having something like a Blood Artist next to it might be able to alleviate some of that 7 life. I might have worded it badly, but it is not a repeatable boardwipe. Once the attached creature dies, you have to exile the Sinister Quill. Only now I realised I should have said "exile this artifact" instead of "exile it". Maybe you thought "it" was referring to the creature the quill was attached to? Anyway, sorry for the confusion

It's still cool beans and gets the win though.

Enmaddening Rodent Creature - Eldrazi Rat Devoid When you would discard one or more cards, you may exile ~ instead. Return it transformed to the battlefield under its owner’s control at the beginning of the next end step. ...A rubber room with rats. And rats make me crazy... 3/1 ///// Padded CellArtifact , , Discard a card: Each opponent loses 2 life. You gain life equal to the life lost this way. Discard your hand: Exile ~. Return it transformed to the battlefield under its owner’s control at the beginning of the next end step. ...Crazy? I was crazy once. They locked me in a room. A rubber room...
