Mtenda Lion Creature - Cat At the beginning of each player's upkeep, if Mtend Lion is tapped, that player may pay . If the player does so, put a paralyze counter on it. 3/2 "Sati saw it and she took another lion to another lake. He gave her the power to speak with lions and told her that he would make them leave her goats alone ... next time." —Afari, *Tales*

Mtenda Lion Creature — Cat Provoke, flanking Whenever Mtenda Lion attacks, defending player may pay . If that player does, create a Food token and remove Mtenda Lion from combat. "The lions accepted the gift and left the herd alone for a while." 2/1 As a rare, this wouldn't be on the card, but here is a reminder: Provoke (Whenever this creature attacks, you may have target creature defending player controls untap and block it if able.)Flanking (Whenever a creature without flanking blocks this creature, the blocking creature gets -1/-1 until end of turn.)Note: It just gets removed from combat; it does not untap. It also means that it never gets blocked, so flanking won't happen.

Of the entries I think vizionarius is most interesting with an honorable mention to ZephyrPhantom for giving it the storm crow / crow storm treatment.

Harrowed Grounds Enchantment : Each player returns a land they control to its owner's hand. Plainscycling ( , Discard this card: Search your library for a Plains card, reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle.) To plant anew is to first break the earth. If it wasn't a wreck but a push, I would have given it a "if an opponent has more lands in play" and a "once per turn" clause. Like this!: {Spoiler} Harrowed Grounds Enchantment : Each player returns a land they control to its owner's hand. Only use this ability if an opponent has more lands in play and only once each turn. Plainscycling ( , Discard this card: Search your library for a Plains card, reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle.) To plant anew is to first break the earth.

Bump for more entries. Been a couple of days with no additional entries. melono wins by default. I like the design a lot, though I would have done a bit of combination between the two versions, with being able to only activate if an opponent has more lands, but as many times as you'd like. I think this is a neat way of doing some "land destruction" in without the stigma of Armageddon. It's repeatable, so OP as hell, but that's what we're going for here.

Rootwater Mystic Creature — Merfolk Wizard :, : Look at the top card of target player's library. You may put that card into that player's graveyard. “Read the roots tell the tale Future forms in waving weeds Higher than truth is hope.” —Rootwater Saga1/1 Note: It's basically surveil 1, but you chose the target player. Limit use by needing to .

Doing this one quick as well. As both of you kept within the same realm of play, I'll be thinking of your cards relative to Lantern-control. ZephyrPhantom - Re-usable exile-milling. Very strong, but appropriately color-expensive. The part of maybe wanting to put it on the bottom of a library I don't entirely get. Is it in case you want to exile your own topdeck, but don't want it entirely gone? Then there is a chance that it still leaves (unless you know your top card of course) vizionarius - Ooh, either surveil yourself or fateseal your opponent. Strong reusable control option, for which you don't necessarily need vision on your opponent's top card. Tapping + cost is probably appropriate for this effect. I do say, both are pretty cool. Gonna give the win to vizionarius for the fatesealing, but it's close. Both are really pushed, not wrecked, and the theme of the card has with both of you only been enhanced.

Feedbackmelono : I like how you incorporated the newer combination of destroying flyers or artifact/enchantment that we've been seeing in . Putting the cost to 2 from hand is appropriate, and I like that it's not just any artifact that can get destroyed to check its power. And the 1-cost flashback is perfect! This gives a pretty decent removal to that might actually see sideboard (or even main deck for some metas) play! I like this a lot, would put it in many of my commander decks running . moweda : This feels like a nice pushed (not wrecked) design. I like that it plays with 's love to hate on non-creature spell casters. The tap feels a little off-color, but I'm OK with it generally. I feel it's not powerful enough for me to put into most of my decks/sideboards, which is what I'd look for in a wrecked design. ResultThe winner is melono with a nicely wrecked version of the original!

Cauldron FamiliarDealer's Cat Creature - Zombie Cat When ~ dies, target opponent discards two cards unless they discard a card at random. 1/1 Wrench Mind is one of the stronger 8rack effects out there currently for Modern. I think a sidegrade with more hoops but easier mana access is fair but still strong enough to turn heads.

Cursed Cat Creature -- Zombie Cat When ~ dies, each opponent discards a card at random. If they can't, they lose 2 life. Even its bad eye can pierce your soul.1/1 Illustrator: DALLE & Vizionarius {"Push" this...} Black CattleCreature -- Zombie Ox ...same card as above, just renamed/flavored... You've been warned not to push it! ... Tap it? ... Or was it tip it?

One extra entry? Good enough! {Spoiler} ZephyrPhantom - Dealer's Cat: I like it as just being its' own thing, however, this is in no way a pushed version of the original, as it gives the opponent the choice. That makes it actually worse than the original... vizionarius - Cursed Cat: Bumping the power for when the rest of your discard deck is doing its' thing... Very nice. It makes it much more fitting in the discard strategy. Winner is: vizionarius

Wrench Mind is a lot stronger than it looks in 8rack simply because it's hard to get 2 mana for discard two in Modern and up. Don't really know if I could have a full discussion about without more time but I guess I can agree putting it on an on-death trigger makes it even harder for that to seem viable.

Thanks for the win melono! ZephyrPhantom: Wrench Mind is a great card. I think the issue is that your submission is actually weaker, rather than pushed (or even side-graded), as melono points out. It allows the player affected by the discard to choose what happens to them. If discarding 2 is better, they will choose that; if discarding a random (which is already what the cat does) is better, they will choose that. The fact that they now have a choice of which bad thing happens to them allows them to choose the least bad thing for them. Giving them the choice in the first place is a downgrade. If the choice was on the effect's controller, then it would be a push.
Next: Push Encrust.

moweda wins. I actually really like the entry. It shuts it down for combat and activated abilities, but steals the static abilities. We've seen "stays tapped" for much cheaper lately, and gaining control with conditions seems to be at 3-mana. So this feels appropriately costed. Wished there were more entries for comparison, but this is a solid entry.

Stonewise Sanctifier Creature - Dwarf Cleric As long as ~ is attacking, it gets +2/+0. : Prevent all damage that would be dealt to ~ by target source this turn. "May my mortal flesh become a marble temple, veins and all."1/1 Some Adanto Vanguard shoved in there, with what I think would be an accurate cost to make it more viable (in Standard at least).

Stonewise Fortifier Creature — Human Wizard : ~ gains indestructible until end of turn. This ability costs less to activate if you control a God enchantment. Ephara taught some mortals to feel every vein in marble as though it flows with their own blood.2/3
