Well, it's been over a month, so I'm going to close this challenge and declare viriss as the winner. Detailed judging to come later this evening, after I finish my last class of the semester Edit: Well, it ended up being the next morning, but here's full judgement! As a general note, I like that all of you stuck to the general teeefolk themes of either caringabout both creatures and lands in some way, or toughness matters. viriss I think you did the best at the "lands and creatures" theme. I like the simplicity of your design. I'm also a sucker for aristocrats and blood artist effects. SilentKobold land reanimation is always nice. Haste feels a little weird here. I can understand putting it on the land so you can tap it for mana, and I get that you put it on your ritualist for symmetry, it just looks weird. ameisenmeister The only "toughness matters" entry, and also the only monocolor entry. Simple discard effect on a mediocre body, but plays into treefolk themes well. I also really like your flavor text. Overall, good designs everyone!

{"Table of Entries and Individual Judgements"}DM me to let me know if you see any typo's in your card's text column, and I'll see to fixing them when I've the time.
| Zombie Unicorn Two Generic and Two Black Creature - Zombie Unicorn Common
When Zombie Unicorn enters the battlefield, creatures your opponents control get -1/-1 until end of turn. FT:As inspiring as the sight of a beautiful unicorn can be; unispiring is the sight of a rotten and corrupted one.
2/1
Art by Mondain's Legacy Card by Flo00 | A beautifully ugly card that hits the prompt dead on. The temporary anti-anthem effect really matches what the flavor text says is going on without being too oppressive.
I do think it could have been safely buffed a bit power-toughness-wise. Maybe a 2/2 or even a 3/2. | | Mummy Mystic 1 Generic and two white Creature - Zombie mystic Uncommon
Threshold - Two generic, a white, and tap: return target creature card with a converted mana cost of two or less to your hand. Activate this ability only if there are seven or more cards in your graveyard.
2/2
Art by Massimiliana Haematinon Nigro Card by viriss | Great marriage of mechanics and flavor. Mummies performing the mummification process is a great image. |
| Starlight Hydra Three Green Enchantment Creature - Hydra Spirit Mythic
Constellation - Whenever Starlight Hydra or another enchantment enters the battlefield under your control, put a +1/+1 counter on Starlight Hydra. Four generic and a green: Remove all +1/+1 counters from Starlight Hydra. For each counter removed this way, create a token that's a copy of Starlight Hydra.
1/1
Art by Static-Ghost Card by eshix | A unique take hydra lore as mechanics. I absolutely love the way this creates copies of itself.
| | Twilight Sparkle, the Eternal A blue and a Black Legendary Creature - Alicorn Skeleton Mythic
Flying Other Zombies, Skeletons, and Spirits you control get +1/+1
Five generic, tap, and sacrifice five creatures: Create Spike, Dark Phylactery, a legendary, 9/7 Zombie Dragon creature token with flying, lifelink, indestructable, and haste.
2/2
Art by PlainOasis Card by Nonagon Infinity | I don't really understand this design goals of this card. Maybe I'm just not deep enough into the my little pony fandom to understand what it's representing, but the card doesn't feel, to me, like it has a unified identity mechanically or flavorfully. | No render provided | Osteosaurus Rex Five Generic and Two Black Creature - Dinosaur Skeleton Uncommon
Menace Whenever ~ is dealt damage, regenerate it. FT: It was dead for millions of years. It's not going back.
6/5
Card by thaneofglamis | A nice and simple big chonky boy that's hard to get rid of. Love the flavor text; it made me laugh. | | Festering Grizzly One Generic and a Black Creature - Bear Zombie Common
When Festering Grizzly dies, you may pay a black. If you do, target creature an opponent controls get -2/-2 until end of turn. FT: You could run up a tree and try to escape it but you'll never climb high enough to avoid its putrid stench.
2/2
Art by Eldenartwork Card by ameisenmeister
| Another card that hits the prompt dead on: combining the classic mtg bear with the zombie creature type. There's nothing I would change about this card except to add it to the mtg canon. |
{And the winner is}I'm going to give this round to eshix for their brilliant take on a spirit hydra.
