So chuffed at the responses to this challenge! thaneofglamis Nice flavor with the sand. I wasn't sure about the 1 damage to attacks since that's usually in red/green, but I think it fits with the red/white combat style. Also I had a concern about getting multiples of this out, but at rare, and on a creature, this seems fine to me. SilentKobold Rats and rogues! Wonderful combination! First ability is great, fitting right in with cards like Kitesail Freebooter. It's the -1/-1 on a non-legendary permanent that has me worried. Getting a bunch of these out... painful. =) gamma3 My initial thought was "boring", but looking into druids that give mana... a rainbow potential creature for one mana is good, maybe doesn't even need to be rare. I do wish Dog's had more of an overall identity in the game. Flo00 That Dino Dog total reads as fetch! And right at the edge of something like Serra Angel in cost/size/ability/rarity. Nice. harrowed777 Kawaii!! That picture! Hello little one. Cute cute cute... a 1/1 you might as well ignore because it's so much trouble in combat... and the "target squirrel" is a nice touch. Though... doesn't need to be silver bordered, it doesn't do anything outside of normal Magic. And... a quote from Konda! eshix I gagged when I first read the creature types. So gross. I really like a lot of the pieces of this one, but overall the flavor didn't come together with an unsummoning leach. But the combination of lifelink on a fat body but paying life to make an opponent lose life is very leech-y. =) I wonder if a tap this to tap that would work better? Jartis ohhh... interesting combo. I like the copy of dead things ability, and the "may", but I think it also needs a self-reanimate to make it a skeleton. At rare I think it can handle the added complexity. Great picture too! ameisenmeister D&D Owlbear! Free scry at uncommon feels a little too good. I don't mind it repeating, but maybe for attacking? Also the two conditions of the reveal are clunky but overall a good selection of actions. Though the land should enter the battlefield tapped, I think. Winner Flo00

Thanks for the win viriss!
Next: Show me a combination of two race creature types never seen printed. It can have other types as long as two of them haven't been togather yet. With race I mean things like Cat, Human, Centaur, ... I'll let inbetweeners like Spirit, Horror or Zombie also count.

You mentioned Cat as an option, but do animal types that haven't gotten anthropomorphic forms also count as races, like Otter or Whale?

Sorry for hte delay. Here is judging. {Jartis}I'm pretty sure this would be worded differently on a real card; works for me though. Looks like it would make a nice commander. Not much more to say here.
{gamma3}That's a fun combination of creature types. It feels like it's a bit too hard to transform in comparison of how easy it turns back.
{thaneofglamis}I'm a fan of keyword tribal, so I like this one. I'm pretty sure that last ability would raise some rules questions, but nochting out of the ordinary. It's actually easier to understand than doubling the whole damage done by a trampler. I'd like to see a picture of that guy.
{viriss}This embodies both it's creature types in a good way. Has a good feeling to it.
{ameisenmeister}That's a very interesting combination of abilities. It's a nice anti-storm card. I can imagine this as an addition to any deck if it fits but also as a card to build your deck around. Sadly, it didn't meet my challenge.
{eshix}That's an interesting Ball Lightning version. I like how you can play some Sheep to keep the Forsaken alive, yet there are only three Sheep printed in Magic yet (plus changelings and two cards that make Sheep tokens). I'd like to hear a bit about how that transformation happened to the guy. {SilentKobold}Tke two Mogg Flunkies and a stapler... Sinple and effective. I like the flavor.

I'm kinda suprised there's no blue in these entries. Though I too see insects more as green. Jartis I like this little bugger. The "enters" as well as "attacks" is a great combination. One free but you need to risk something for the rest. thaneofglamis This really captures the indestructible roach feel, though only while attacking isn't good enough. If it loses indestructible at the end of combat... what's the difference between having it and not? eshix I like where you're heading with this one. But a flying deathtouch is something I personally wouldn't want to throw away. Give me two lesser bugs please. =) Also, I think the wording for the second ability should be "two other" so she can't eat herself. But I do like the transformation effect. My favorite Human Insect, winner Jartis

Yeah uh. I realize now that it would lose indestructible at end of combat and would then die if it had any damage marked on it. I would have changed it to be indestructible on your turn if I noticed in time.
