Legendary Creature – Cat Bird
For each type of counter, Quarry and Vec can have at most one of those counters and they remain on Quarry and Vex as long as it remains face up in a public zone.
A green, a white, a blue, a black, and tap: Choose a counter of any type from among permanents on the battlefield. Put a counter of that type on Quarry and Vex if able, then choose one, where X is the number of counters on Quarry and Vex:
• Put a +1/+1 counter on each of up to X target other creatures
• Destroy target permanent with mana value X or less.
• Scry X then draw a card.
• Gain X life.

The card art is, Healthy eating (ПП) by Alina Sagalee.
It depicts a cat leaping at a bird. The cat is licking its lips with a mischevious look, ready to swipe at the bird. The bird is flying panicked, (eyes bludging, beak oppen to scream, wings spread wide), trying to get away from the cat.
The background is a wooded area. Some branches have pinecones and others blue berries.

The cards probably way too complicated for it's own good, but I've got no simpler ideas for the prompt right now. |

The cards probably way too complicated for it's own good, but I've got no simpler ideas for the prompt right now. Small templating quibble: In the few modal cards that use X, they define X in each mode, even if they use the same value of X (ex. Cemetery Desecrator). I understand this would make the card even wordier, but the current templating feels weird still, probably because you're using wording that implies X has already been used. I would suggest making the definition of X a separate sentence: "...then choose one. X is the number of counters..." |
