I saw the prompt, and my brain immediately went to "Legolas/Gimli mpreg fanfiction". WHY?!?!!! Fuck TvTropes, AO3 has ruined my life! It's a shame this didn't come (heh) a couple days earlier; would've been a great shitpost. Child of Legolas and Gimli Instant Split Second Create a legendary 3/3 green and red Elf Dwarf creature token named "Legoli". If a creature that contains the name "Legolas" and a creature that contains the name "Gimli" are in your graveyard and/or on the battlefield, create a legendary 3/3 red and green Dwarf Elf named "Gimlas" as well. If you don't mind, I am not doing a render... 0/5 because you're a coward

vizionarius: mechanically hard to evaluate: potentially very powerful, but balanced by the no-untap clause. probably fine overall. not sure if Yavimaya has dwarves, but I guess there's no particular reason it wouldn't. 3/5
Idea: hybrid needs to be in-color in both of its colors; tutoring lands unrestricted isn't red, and tutoring Equipment is barely green. tutoring any land at common is also dubious: last time that was common in a proper set was Zendikar. flavour's fine, but FT could use a mention of who's talking since it's in quotes. it's a high-ish 1/5, but still a 1/5.
sdfkjgh: cool concept and mechanically balanced, but complexity-wise this has so much going on that it really should be a rare. that knocks it down to a 2/5.
viriss: mechanically sound, if disjointed; although the two abilities don't seem to do much together, their combination is interesting and balanced. doesn't do much with the typeline combo flavourwise, but that's not fair to dock points on since I didn't really ask for that. FT could use quote marks since it's the creature themself talking. low 3/5.
melono: unfortunately, shitpost potential doesn't count in my rankings, appreciated though it is. the name thing doesn't work in rules iirc, due to translation issues; however, not like that's common knowledge. if it did work, split second two 3/3's at instant speed for three mana for controlling two highly specific legendaries is fine; however, a split second flash 3/3 token at three mana is way out of red's creature effectiveness bounds and, tbh, barely in green's. can't go higher than a 1/5 on this, chief.
vizionarius wins with viriss at second place.

It was a dark, and stormy night. The city smelled foul like French cheese and hearts were open and full of holes like Swiss cheese. Everyone thinks you can trust someone, but just like the shopkeep telling you that wine goes great with your meal, only to find it's actually some old thing they forgot they had in the back but it was still the only one you could afford, there's many rats willing to betray you... to rat you out to them less pleasant folks in these dark back alleys...{Card Proper} Rat Finder Creature - Mouse Detective When Rat Finder enters the battlefield, investigate. Whenever you draw or discard a card, another target creature you control gets +1/+1 and gains lifelink until end of turn. 1/3 background gif credit to @a_sterisk on twitter

FeedbackIdea: Love the gif and the story background to this! I like the name and flavor here. He surprisingly works really well with Blood tokens (triggers 2x). His ability is pretty strong since he'll trigger at least once due to your regular draw. I like it. viriss: So, when it ETBs, it makes a Clue and a Food. Next turn, if it gets through and you crack the Clue, you get an additional Clue and a Food. So as long as you keep getting through, you have a way to keep the token supply up. I like it! gluestick248: This is neat! I like the "I'm little and you can't see me" flavor, and the conditional investigate feels like a "I heard something, what is it?" effect. Neat design! sdfkjgh: Lots going on here, but I like that you can skulk through then pump for damage. The ward is cool, but adds a lot of words, and also has an anti-synergy with it's +1/+1 trigger. I think it could have just been a static ward or , if it has ward at all. I wish "object" or "entity" would be used on cards. Would be easier to say "deals damage to noncreature entity." Overall, I like the design, except for the ward part. elchetibo: Interesting to see a non-white mouse! I feel like this is a little strong. A 2-mana hard-to-deal-with creature that can get you multiple clues a turn without the need for pumping resources into it, at common, is a little much to me. I do like the retreat mechanic, but it would need to be balanced a bit since it's quite a strong ability. WinnerThis one goes to viriss for a neat little engine with lots of flavor. gluestick248 is second.

Well, if you love the land so much, why don't you marry it?!* Native Nurturer Creature--Plant Doctor Basic landbond (You may pair this creature with an unpaired basic land when either enters the battlefield. They remain paired for as long as you control both of them.)
As long as Native Nurturer is paired with a basic land, each of those permanents have hexproof. If an ability of the land Native Nurturer is paired with would cause you to add one or more mana, you add quadruple the amount and type of that mana instead. 2/4 *I'm so disappointed that the wiki doesn't mention in the Trivia section that the Japanese translation of soulbond is literally "Make relationship".

While mechanically it's intended to have a wider range, I think the way this works best flavor-wise is when dealing with something like -1/-1 counters.

Ointment Disseminator Creature - Plant Doctor Defender , Put a -0/-1 counter on ~: Regenerate another target creature you control. 0/5 Why not a -1/-1 counter? Went with the old-school regenerate ability, so decided to pay some homage to Wall of Roots as well in the process.

elchetibo You could probably even do just "XGW", but then I'd move the tap cost to a mana cost. Balancing the large creature but I don't want to attack is hard. Also, you shouldn't be able to remove poison from players, though I'm not sure what else you'd want to remove from players. sdfkjgh I get the plant not as much the doctor, but with quadruple who cares! gimme 4 of them for my Cabal Coffers! Idea Eater -1/-1 and stun counters is enough. Thanks doc! vizionarius The giving tree doctor here. Love the defender "I wasn't going to attack anyway" =) I don't mind the -0/-1 counter. I think they could bring half-counters back, just not the Frankenstein's Monster stuff. Winner Idea

Thank you for the win viriss ! For the next challenge, make a creature that is both a Mutant and an artificial creation creature type, such as construct, scarecrow or wall. Edit: For clarity, artificial here is referencing to something artificially made and not biological.
