gamma3 The flavour for this card is great. So powerful yet so expense! Thank you for making it legendary as well. =) Flo00 Another card with great flavour, feels like an Eldraine card! These two cards together would be annoying =) I do think your card should also kill planeswalkers to really end it all. Winner: gamma3

Wow, thanks for the win! I know it's technically not a word, but I think it's in the spirit, so design a card that includes "!" or "?" in its name. If there's a general consensus that I do have to pick a proper word, I can come up with something else.

Is This All You've Got? Ongoing Schene At the beginning of each end step, you may abandon this scheme. If you do, destroy each creature that dealt damage to you this turn and you gain life equal to the life you lost this turn.
not sure about that 've there

Oops, I forgot I was supposed to judge this one! Judging in progress, please wait Judgement has arrived! Flo00 Y'know, schemes are a great way to meet this challenge, and I can't believe I didn't think of that. Yours looks to be on an appropriate power level with the existing schemes, and is a good use of the Ongoing supertype that I don't think we've seen in the official ones. viriss This thing has pretty good flavor, and I really like that Buyback cost. Fun overall package (get it???) ameisenmeister Another card with great flavor behind it, and it perfectly fits red's reckless personality. Unfortunately, I feel like you lose a couple points for having the same name as an existing card save for the exclamation point, as otherwise this card is fantastic All three of you did spectacular with the challenge, but there can be only one. Giving the win to Flo00 for the unexpected Scheme and clever use of existing mechanics

Thanks for the win gamma3! For the next challenge I want you to use some mathamatical vocabulary in the card name. You can look at this to get some inspiration. The more abstract the word the better. Just using number words doesn't count!

Exponential Potential Instant Copy target instant or sorcery spell, then copy it again for each card named Exponential Potential in your graveyard. You may choose new targets for the copies I know it's not actually exponential, but the name was too good to resist

viriss Does doubling the effect mean to get double the number of tokens or double the value of X or both? And if you double the tokens they are all copies of the same thing, right?

Let's see if this get squeezed in. It may be worth to mention that 1) you must choose different targets to be able to play this á la Aether Gale and, for balancing sake imo, 2) the X attributes are not replacements of the initial effect, so the creatures you would gain control of become tapped and don't untap during their next controller's untap step, which would be you in this case.

{melono}This is kind of an upgraded Seismic Strike. I like it's quirkyness that it is protected from counters but also works better if your opponent pays Mountains. Rminds me a bit of Glacial Crasher. It seems to be at the right cost and rarity. I also like how the name already tells you what the card is counting {gamma3}I like cards that look for copies of themself. And this is a great way of doing it. There is only one big problem: This hting can get chained into itself. When you cast one Exponential Potential targeting another one, the second one will copy it once and you can target the original with the copy. Since now there is a Exponential Potential in your graveyard, the copy will make two copies of the original Exponential Potential. One of the copies can target the original and the other can target whatever spell the original is targeting. In this way you can make arbitrary many copies of any spell. Also, copy effects are usually . And I think an effect like this would be something more aimed for constructed than limited anyway. {viriss}Now htere is a word I had to look up. THanks for the history lesson! Feels to me like it belongs with Comet Storm and Strength of the Tajuru since it uses multikicker and X to scale an effect in two directions. Seems like this can get pretty strong in the right deck (tokens maybe?) while still being fun to play against. {ameisenmeister}I guess a dozen is as close as you can get to a number word without using a number word X) This actually made me smile when I realized where the dozen came in. The reaper doesn't feel like it will hit many times, yet I think it will create a nice tension every time it triggers. Almost like rolling dice to decide if and what will be destroed. Unless of course you manipulate him by using superbounce effects.
{Boogymanjunior}Since I'm actually 4 hours late for "tomorrow", yes, this gets squeezed in I really like the idea of this. If the X attributes are not replacements, how can I get control of creatures that I just returned to their owner's hands? I imagine working around the bounce, but not the tap would make th wording a good deal more complicated. Also I think the X thresholds might need to be a bit higher. (maybe 4,7,10?) Or maybe I'm just biased by the Finales. {winner} ameisenmeister for a card that I think would have more emotional impact than actual game impact most of the times. Second place goes to melono

Flo00 while I would say that the X value is fine not least because, different to the Finales, the X here not only needs mana but also the number of targets to fit. But you are totally right about the bounce-control problem, this I missed completely! Also about the solution, which would be a bit strange but would be better still than having the controlled creates not get frozen imo, so this I would say as well. So thanks for the info and that you liked the idea . And congratulations to ameisenmeister, cool card!

Blinding Snowstorm Snow Enchantment Creatures can't attack you or Planeswalkers you control unless their controller pays or for each creature they control that's attacking you or a Planeswalker you control.
