A light wind pushes against Tokata, kicking up more sand around her legs. As the wind dies back down and the sand settles, a purple coyote has appeared at her side, keeping pace and looking intently at the owl mask, but otherwise not making a fuss. Fowl Omen Enchantment - Aura Enchant creature Enchanted creature is a 1/2 blue Bird with flying. When enchanted creature attacks you, return it to its owner's hand. Credo of the Ruler: Cygari offers a choice• Begin Your Tale by designing a card with mana value 5 or greater, or
• Turn Tale by designing a card with mana value 4 or less.
Peaceful Confidence - i do not love totem armor and bind on the same card, the mask is still dying once it loses its Aura and it stacks it up to 8 lines on a card with reminder text. maybe as something intended to be a control finisher-type but such a little aura it doesn't feel worth it on. 7/10 Fowl Omen: 10/10. Eheh, very punny, but also I like that it's Unsummon with extra steps. Tokata seems to not mind the sand, but does seem shocked upon noticing the coyote, squatting down to try to be closer to eye level with the peaceable creature. "Jeez, you really snuck up on me, huh?" She follows the creature's gaze to the owl mask, and removes it from the sash. "I guess they have owls in this desert, too, if you're so interested in it."
The woman begins to look around for tracks to determine from which direction the coyote came. "Where'd you come from...?" she asked, not expecting an answer. Parliament's Wisdom Enchantment Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, create two 1/1 blue Bird creature tokens with flying. , Tap two untapped Birds you control: Draw a card.
Tokata is nothing if not a lover of tales. Also apparently a group of owls is called a parliament.

Cygari returns to the ground at Doer's attempts, but tilts their head at Doer's admitting to trying to eat them. Before Cygari can decide what to do with this information, the cat has disappeared into his breach. Cygari examines the tear, then Doer's wriggling tribute.
The slippery coyote doesn't seem to notice Doer sneaking up behind them this time. The mace connects, but feels strangely as it does, like Doer just smashed a sand castle rather than a skull. Purple smoke erupts all over, and when it clears, the coyote is gone.
For several long seconds, the desert is quiet.
And then the howling begins. At first, in the distance, then louder, then louder, louder, louder, until it feels like every grain of sand in the desert is howling in unison. Clouds gather around the sun, taking a deep purple color while the sun turns deep red, almost like sunset, if you ignored that it was the middle of the day. The howling finally stopped as the sun blinked, darkening the desert for a moment. In the returning light, the form of the coyote in the clouds was now clear, towering over the horizon and tiny little Doer.
The colossal coyote lunged for hunter. Enchantment - Aura Spells and nonmana abilities your opponents control cost more to cast or activate while this spell is on the stack. Enchant creature Enchanted creature gets +9/+9 and has vigilance, trample, and ward . putting on the 4/4 Dog from Legend's Pass for a 13/13 to block the 1/1 first striker • Climb the Steps by designing an creature card, or • Climb the Steps by designing a sorcery card. Doer's Messenger//Doer's Letterbomb - i love this little goober and a nice answer to the challenge, 10/10 Doer hits the sand a few more times, mostly frustrated by his inability to harm the coyote, but the shift in the environment quickly gets his attention. The look in his eyes changes when he sees the titan, not to fear, not to awe, but to sheer excitement. "That's what I like to see!" The Weapon turn into a longsword, twice the size of the cat himself. Doer cackles like a maniac as he jumps to meet the coyote's head. Eat or be eaten, that's the way of the hunter. Will Doer finally taste the creature's flesh, or will he be gobbled himself? Would being eaten by a canid a be fitting end for meowself? I want the bards to sing forevermore the tale of Doer's Last Hunt Sorcery When you cast this spell, copy it for each legendary creature you control. You may choose new modes for the copy. • Put three +1/+1 counters and a menace counter on target creature. It deals 3 damage to any target. • Put three +1/+1 counters and a lifelink counter on target creature. It gains ward 3 until end of turn. • Put three +1/+1 counters and a deathtouch counter on target creature. Scry 2. • Put three +1/+1 on target creature. Draw a card. On Cloud Nine: Cool nine mana aura. I like the way it protects itself while on the stack. What else can I give it than a 9/10

A warm wind runs across the dunes, kicking up enough dust to obscure the appearance of the purple coyote. It is sitting up, glaring with red glowing eyes at the newcomer. Behind it, its tail flicks back and forth.
The coyote now summoned, the shape of the mind shifted. While it would feel more empty that usual, the more she sat in this place, the more sense she could make of the drifting shards of thought in the place.

As the wave begins to approach the glass-infused scion, it would itself begin to warp and swirl and branch, soon becoming infused with the very radiant corruption itself. The scion's shell begins to crack and ooze as new appendages emerge and the being quickly grows in size, growing longer, clawed limbs and a somewhat sinuous body plan. The oily substance covering them begins to bubble as the sand beneath them begins to melt and rush the coyote, colorful tar erupting from the sand as it passes.

The Eldrazi rushes the coyote, but with every bound forward, the coyote never seems to get any closer. The bubbling tar and creeping tendrils still expand outward, creeping closer to it. Spirals give way to tar gives way to spirals. The Eldrazi is getting nowhere, but it does not need to. The entire desert has been gobbled by corruption... save a circle of water, which the coyote stands upon.
Bismuth and chalk grows out of the tar and spiraled sand, growing in towers tall even faster than the spirals spread. The weaker chalk creaks under its own weight, then buckles, crumbling across the desert now fully soaked in the Eldrazi's presence. And still the coyote gets no closer.
Instead, it sits at the center of the still pool. A light ripple rings around it, and as it hits the desert, the visions vanish all at once. Untouched sand stretches in all directions. The coyote glares from its pool. The Eldrazi begins to get closer.

The eldrazi began to cool down as it began to crack again, their glowing innards growing increasingly visible as they began to tower more and more over the coyote. Their form shifts more humanoid as their "arms" break partially in half and then again to form fingers, its geometric 'mask' of tannish ivory stone and cracked shell revealed paths for glowing tentacles dripping with swirling color. Their legs broke in two as they approach the pool, their stride startlingly human-like despite their divergent anatomy. Long, whiplike tendrils extending from their back stirred their path into a frenzied, swirling mass of chromatic protoplasma.
Eventually, the eldrazi made it to the pool, 'looked' at the coyote with their eyeless face... and then simply kneeled down on their knees as iridescent tears began to fall from their 'head', seemingly secreted from where eyes would be.

When she looks back from the coyote's direction, there is a new spot of greenery on the horizon. Enigma Origin: 10/10. Mirage makes this similar to a green Bubbling Muck, which definitely needs to cost 1 more since green doesn't need the help as far as mana production goes, and making Leyline of Abundance cost 2 more to trade noncreature permanents for utility is probably fine? "Weird," she says to herself, "Is the wind high enough to..? No. Oh well. Oh! At least there's some color here. It'd take a while to walk, though."
She removed the other two masks from her sash, holding them in one hand, spread like playing cards, and spoke to them before standing back up: "You mind flying us over there real quick? Promise I'll give you three a rest after."
Bright blue fog groaned its way out of the three masks, and briefly formed a sphere around Tokata until it finally twisted into a shape similar to a large bird, with two clear wings and a neck, while the bottom looked more like the basket of a hot air balloon, surrounding Tokata up to her hips. The creature wore the three masks, with two acting as "eyes" at the end of the creature's neck, and a third worn upon its chest, resting a few inches above Tokata's head. The woman looked toward the coyote and holds out her arms. "Wanna ride, little one?" Tokata's Tribunal
Legendary Enchantment - Aura Enchant creature When you cast ~ for its Bind cost, make two copies of it except they aren't legendary. You may choose new targets for the copies. Enchanted creature gets +1/+1 and has flying and "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, draw that many cards." Bind

The sands swirl and whirl as a warm wind blows through the region. As the wind dies down, floating sand drifts gently downward, slowly becoming a larger... larger... larger mass. The sand sticks together, and forms larger and larger ill-shaped spheres, eventually coming together and shambling upwards into a vaguely humanoid shape. Where eyes would be on the rock that would be its head are deep, red slits that seemingly glow with some sort of energy. "Larynia... demands... challengers..." it mutters, struggling to stay together, being made from sand not of this world.
It shambles forward aimlessly, struggling to take each successive step.

• Turn Tail by designing a card with mana value 2 or less. Shambling Sand - solid little guy, could use the Sand type perhaps. 9/10

A coyote steps from behind the shambling creature, sweeping its tail from side to side as it follows alongside it. Sand tries to seep into the construct to strengthen it. Arcane Windbreaker Enchantment - Aura Enchant creature Enchanted creature gets +2/+2 and can't have counters placed on it. Mirage (You may cast this spell as though it had flash for its mirage cost. If you do, sacrifice it at the beginning of the next cleanup step.)• Begin Your Tale by designing a card with mana value 3 or greater, or
• Turn Tail by designing a card with mana value 2 or less The construct accepts the sand and greedily takes it, becoming more and more like a humanoid figure. It shambles forward, until it stops and slowly turns its head, a grinding noise as it looks at the canine beside it. "Larynia... demands... challengers..." it grumbles once more, a voice emanating from within the sand. It stares at the coyote, seemingly non-hostile. It slowly lifts one of its "arms" and points in a direction. There appears to be nothing where it is pointing, but the horizon may hold more than it seems.
As the construct remains still, it slowly becomes more chiseled and carved. Each passing moment seems to remove a blemish or imperfection, whittling away at it. It is not yet clear what shape it would be when it was "finished". From it's stance, one thing is obvious: It will never flee.
Self-Carving Golem Artifact Self-Carving Golem enters with 3 flaw counters on it. , remove a flaw counter from Self-Carving Golem: Add or . , , Sacrifice Self-Carving Golem: Create The Avatar of Larynia, a legendary 7/7 red and white Avatar creature token with trample and haste. When it enters, put an amount of -1/-1 counters on it equal to the number of flaw counters on Self-Carving Golem as it was sacrificed. Activate only as a sorcery. Arcane Windbreaker: Good card. From what I can find the only "can't have counters" effect for precedent is Solemnity, but I can see it as a tech for the blue cost and a weird form of "hexproof from counters" for green and blue, and also it doesn't immediately break the game with a million random cards like Solemnity so bonus points. 10/10 honestly. Also imagining a shoddy rock elemental wearing a glowing magical jacket is humorous.

The golem keeps trudging forward, parting ways from the canine as it continues to grumble and wander the desert sands. It seems it was not looking for just one being to direct. As the sands fade to grass, and the grass fades to sea, a grand marble coliseum becomes brightly visible. Decorated with gold streaks and platinum accents, it is wonderfully adorned. Bright and gleaming without being over the top or tacky. Whether it be the coyote or another than approaches, something seems intriguing about this place. The space around it is eerily quiet, without even the chirping of birds or the shuffling of creatures in the grass. Something that almost demands an investigation.
Almost.
Perhaps it was best to come back with more allies in tow. More... challengers.
Invasion of the Sands Battle - Siege (As a Siege enters, choose an opponent to protect it. You and others can attack it. When it's defeated, exile it, then cast it transformed.)
Whenever a creature attacks Invasion of the Sands, untap it. Whenever a creature deals combat damage to Invasion of the Sands, create a 1/1 white Soldier creature token. 5
// Living Desert
Creature - Sand Warrior Whenever Living Desert deals combat damage to a player, create that many 1/1 white Sand creature tokens. None can navigate the sands forever.
3/3 (Who do I need to petition to get Battle Loyalty as an emoji)
(On Self-Carving Golem - I spent way too long trying to tune the numbers and eventually just gave it the "fuck it" adjustment, I completely agree with your judgement lol)
Trek the Thousand Steps: Interesting card. I think traditionally WotC would print something like this with "for each kind of counter", but I like the potential to dump mana into it to increase counters rapidly or just as a mana dump. Although like many auras, you have to be ahead to really get much out of this, and you not only have to be ahead enough to enchant a creature but also on mana to really make use of the card (or just ahead on mana if you're using it on -1/-1 or flaw counters). Still, two mana for a counter + versatility is pretty on par as far as rates go. 9/10

Out in the sands, a young woman wearing old, worn, slightly tattered clothing walked about, soaking in the beauty of the sands, yet another demiplane to learn from. But the despite looking human... I can never really hide the creaking of my panels, can I? Not that I need to hide in this instance...
I look around for a certain coyote, a bit wise to the trick being pulled. I can't help but smile though.
Scrutinize the Halls Sorcery Surveil 2. Draw a card. Add The Halls Are Watching to the Miller Estate's loyalty deck. If she's not in the game, aggrevate her first. ---------------------------------- The Halls Are Watching Loyalty Ability - Milly Draw a card.
I'm always watching, you know.
PLAYER TURN: Casting Scrutinize the Halls, the Miller Estate enters the game with five loyalty and draws LAP-2, LAU-1, and LAP-4. The aggrevate trigger goes off, and the Miller Estate casts LAP-4, getting a 2/1. The Halls Are Watching is then added to her deck. ESTATE TURN: The Miller Estate untaps, draws The Halls Are Watching, and uses it, drawing a card. She swings at you for 2.

A goblin with a scraggly white beard and a charred left arm ventures into the sands riding a giant lizard with a puppet show attached to the back. "Anyone out there? There's a new circus in town!" hollers the skeleton of a young woman riding to the left of the goblin, her bones freshly cleaned. "Keep it down. We don't know who or what's out here." "The Ringleader said to find some audience members though?""And we will... safely. We wait till we see someone before we start the pitch. No need to let whatever beasties are lurking out here know about us until then."Travelling Puppet ShowArtifact — Attraction Visit — Up to one target noncreature artifact you control becomes a 0/0 artifact creature.
