I sure can! now that I've helped out in the Keyword Challenge: This challenge is now closed, please no further changes of entries!EDIT: Sorry for the additional delay - as already mentioned elsewhere.. things didn't really go as planned. Anyway, here we (finally) go: { viriss} This is.. quite unique for sure. I'm pretty sure you know the design flat out doesn't work given the current game rules (as tokens cease to exist when they hit the gravyard) - but if we for a moment assume it would (or you'd change the rules accordingly), then we're left with an insanely flavorful design for sure. Without the change, the card should probably just add mouse counters onto itself instead. { Jartis} Big question is: Are you supposed to get the spell for free (in case the wording needs to say so) or are you still supposed to pay all costs (in case some reminder text probably should be added)? Because if you get the spells for free, then this cards needs to be a rare (and cards like Cruel Ultimatum would still easily break it), whereas if you still have to pay for it, the effect almost feels a bit underwhelming as it just makes the spell uncounterable (and allows you to cast a sorcery during combat) in an indeed very narrow way. Totally love that artwork, by the way { FLAREdirector} Very interesting design. I like how it obviously wants to be paired with Vigilance without having it on its own - I do think the ability pushes this to a rare looking at similar cards like Bubble Matrix, Emmara Tandris or Iroas, God of Victory simply to prevent endless board stalls in Limited. { melono} Really digging the flavor of this one. Costs and stats seem to be fine as well - I just have a small wording nitpick concerning the " in order" part. { lizstar} Relentless Rats-like cards are always difficult to evaluate for me - but I'm afraid cute (no pun intended ) flavor aside, I don't like this approach as much as the other already existing varients. All of those help you finish the game whereas your design only stalls - sure, at some point it will be almost impossible for your opponent to win against the massive amount of life you're able to gain, but then you still need different cards to win the game in the end. { gluestick248} Flavorful and solid Limited uncommon for green. Bristling Boar says the costs and stats are perfectly fine. Nice card, nothing else to add. { ameisenmeister} Simple yet flavorful Limited common to showcase your Dream journey mechanic (extremely small nitpick: the "j" isn't capitalised). Always enjoy cards obviously meant to be used agressively without going the "~ has to attack each combat" approach and I like the mechanic itself as well - even though I'm slightly concerned about the amount of support (and therefore ramp) a Limited environment would have to offer to be able to use it reliably. {And the winner is..} This is a tough decision., seriously. We had quite a few very different yet each in different ways pretty awesome designs, so choosing a single winner was rather difficult. But in the end, I obviously had to choose someone.. So in the end, I decided to go with melono as winner and gluestick248 and FLAREdirector as runner-ups (in no particular order).

Bumbling Librarian Creature - Goblin Advisor When ~ or another advisor enters the battlefield, name a card, then reveal the top card of your library. If the revealed card has the same name as the named card, put it into your hand. Otherwise, put it on the bottom of your library. 1/1

Judgement shall commence. {judgement} lizstar - Bumbling Librarian: Goblins? In my monoblue? It’s more likely than you think! Anyways, a nice card that involves scrying/surveilling and knowing the top card through other ways. With the right setup it could become a “draw a card when an advisor enters the battlefield.” But it would need some setup and blue isn’t too hard on its card draw anyways, making it not too strong in any sense of the imagination. saranwrapanimism - Schedule Keeper: Ohh, I like this one. Very simple in what it does, but it does what blue wants, and it does it well enough. In a deck with a lot of cantrips, this could have a nice place. thaneofglamis - Dubious Vizier: Very black, and I like how it gives you additional value out of sacced creatures, something aristocrat decks would love. It’s quite expensive at 3 for the card, but it feels like the right amount. I would put a colored mana into the cost however, for the sake of less shenanigans. ameisenmeister - Bustling Official: Oh boy! Procrastination! I mean, Protractination? Anyways, the card! The keyword is a bit complex, and I would wonder if it’d need a keyword at all, unless there would be a milling matters theme in a set. Not too smitten by it, as it’s only good for milling, and only the opponent, so it doesn’t have the flexibility of filling your own graveyard. Also a suggestion if you want to do more with the keyword, you could have the keyword say Protract N, as to show how many top cards have to go. It’s more flexible that way for design. viriss - Arbor Patron: A sort of fog on a creature, but then much more precise, as you can still have some creatures left attacking (which you could perhaps kill and thus get some value out of). Really strong, in the right situation. Else it could simply give you a lease on life. Now, for the winner, drumroll please. Or don’t. {winner}The winner is: thaneofglamis with Dubious Vizier! Runner up is viriss with Arbor Patron.

This might be a little pushed tbh, but I think it's fine since it's not damage magnification a la Torbran.

just so you poor fucks don't get consigned to purgatory forever
Creature - Salamander Haste
Whenever you cast a red spell, create a 1/1 red Salamander creature token with haste. Whenever a Salamander you control attacks, add and you don't lose it this turn as steps and phases end. 2/2

So there are 5 blue and 4 red Salamanders out there on existing cards. Combining what most of them do, I've come up with this abomination: Mud Crawler Creature - Salamander : Mud Crawler gets +2/+0 and can’t be blocked. Sacrifice it at the beginning of the next end step. 1/2 And yes, if you stifle the sac trigger, it just stays pumped and unblockable. Same as Chance for Glory.

Ok, judge time. Maybe next time I should pick a less obscure creature type, but those are my favorite ones! FLAREdirector - Magmamander
A nice addition to red burn decks, which makes it worth it to use a lightning bolt on things with 4 toughness. The second ability interacts well with the rest. I would make it cost a bit more and probably make it a rare. Schwa77 - Riverlurker and Volcanic Salamander
Riverlurker is pretty great, and I adore the art. I'm not sure how strong card draw on player damage with evasion is, but I think it's costed well. The rebalancing of Volcanic Salamander greatly improved it. Haste and firebreathing are fine, and the other ability basically makes it a 4/4 with pseudo-trample, which I'm cool with. fluffydeathbringer - Firecradle Nurturer
Well costed, I'm always a fan of mono-red mana production, and it's a salamander that makes more salamanders! Just a really solid card all around. I would make it make mana whenever "another Salamander you control attacks", or get rid of haste on the main creature, but that's personal preference. Flo00 - Mud Crawler
A neat idea for a one-big-attack creature, and the "can't be blocked" means it's easy to do a lot of damage if you have a lot of mana. It could probably be a common, but uncommon is fine. ZephyrPhantom - Grotesque Bloatbrood
I never really thought of salamanders as token makers, but there's two of them here. All the tokens are even red with haste. I do like the flavor here, but I think this could be uncommon or even common if it didn't have a 3 color cost. gluestick248 - Emberwalker Salamander
I mean... it's a common salamander. Nothing striking here. ameisenmeister - Shoreline Lurker
Salvage seems like a cool ability, and it's almost identical to a keyword I made for the commander challenge recently (I called it Undermine). A mono-green salamander I did not expect, it's a good signpost common for salvage, and it's a solid inclusion in any creature-based green deck (all of them).
The winner is: {Spoiler} ameisenmeister ! With fluffydeathbringer and schwa77 as close 2nd and 3rd place.

Your next creature type is an old classic: beast
Feel free to design noncreature spells with appropriate beastly flavor. The last time I issued the challenge here, peopple came up with cool noncreature gorgon cards.
Have fun!

How’s this for beastly? Hoof ‘Em! Sorcery Creatures you control gain trample and get +X/+X until end of turn, where X is the number of creatures you control.

Loved how open-ended this one was (he says, with two red-green cards). Also, is the Wendigo fine since it's a Spirit Beast, not just a Beast?
