A young girl with a spear stands before the massive gravestone. There's a faint blue glow to her hand, floating a red hat alongside her so she doesn't have to touch it. She pulls an orange ball from her bag and strikes it against the floating hat, setting a small fire on it. She tosses the burning hat at the gravestone. "Here stands Karina Oblay. The most formidable walker you'll ever meet."
"And you'll never manage to kill her."Karina, the Resolute Legendary Planeswalker - Karina You and other planeswalkers you control have hexproof. [+1]: Up to one target instant or sorcery card in your graveyard gains flashback until end of turn. The flashback cost is equal to its mana cost. [+1]: Exile target artifact, creature, or enchantment card with converted mana cost 3 or less from your graveyard, then create a token that's a copy of it. [3]
Karina, the Resolute has hexproof because of Hannah Delcarlo-Nisita (who has indestructible because of Karina Oblay (who has hexproof because of Hannah Delcarlo-Nisita))

The gravestone is silent, unperturbed. Guarded by Aylin's wards, it is impregnable to both time and boasting. It does not care. It cannot care. It just is.(I'm waiting on Neottolemo guiding me to the monument before you get Mattol proper.) The Lonely Monument - Legendary Artifact Cards in graveyards cannot be targeted or played. Whenever a legendary permanent activates an ability, destroy it. Let the past be the past. Let stories rot.Karina the Resolute sure is a hexproof-granting superfriends tribal card... that recurs stuff from the graveyard for some reason? Even taking Karina's character into account, it just feels more like goodstuff than a thematically stable card. 6/10

You mean this whole time you couldn't see the glory of this shrunken down screencap of Van-Pires 1x11 Revel Without a Car and no one warned me about it before!? Tsk, tsk! Thanks mate. I'll attempt to fix it later.
Hall of Mirrors: That's a lot of chaos. I approve. 10/10
Hyle speaks out her next sentences slowly. This was going to be kind of awkward, she thought, but cast the thought aside. "It's a memorial. She was Kirino Oblay. We only met twice. Our first meeting was very pleasant." Yet tinged by sadness as well. Hyle had felt something she perceived as sadness and good intentions within Kirino. Kirino had said she was looking for a place that wasn't worth protecting, yet wanted to belong somewhere peaceful. Hyle decided she wasn't going to tell Mattol. That was private for now. More private than what happened afterwards. "But after that, at some point, she..." What words could she possibly use? "... transcended. Not like a planeswalker ascends. She became..." Divine. A goddess. Why not say it? "...something more. I..." Was forced to attack her? "...didn't feel threatened by her. But I extinguished a debt of honour by attacking her a single time. Of course, it was pointless. Then I just left. My part was done. I don't know what happened after that. But she's there now. I guess her life ended that day somehow."
Hyle Seritani spent 1 skill point to unlock Planeswalker Mastery!
Legendary Planeswalker - Hyle : You gain 1 life and scry 1. : You get an emblem with "As long as you control exactly one creature, that creature gets +2/+1 and has lifelink and indestructible." : Choose a creature. Destroy all other creatures, then take an extra turn after this one. Skip that turn's untap step. At the beginning of that turn's end step, you lose the game.
The loyalty emojis are tiny so to be clear: +1, -4, -7, 5.
It's pretty amusing to me that this card could also work basically the exact same for Hyle and Hanska to be fair but I don't think seeking a way around that would be wise, she just likes divine and divine-adjacent beings who are nice to her (see: her title being "Friend to the High Builders"), that's what she does. Apologies in advance for the colour pie experimentality.
I cannot see the glorious vanpires .
I stopped. It took all my self-control to keep my rage in check at the sound of that fucking name.
"Kirino Oblay was here? Do you know who ended up killing her?" And did they do a thorough enough job? And what was this about 'ascension'? Concerning...
I fought myself down until I could give her a smile. "If it wouldn't be too much trouble... could you show me where this monument is?"Monument to Solitude - Artifact - As long as you control exactly one creature, you can't lose the game and your opponents can't win the game. Hyle, One Believer is a really neat design, and I love it. 10/10Monument to Solitude rocks. Might as well make it legendary though. 9.5/10
Also I know you just told me how much you like that Hyle but would it be even better if either the emblem or the +1 could grant vigilance to a creature in addition to what it already does or replacing part of what it already does so there's more synergy and thematical coherence with the ultimate?
"You knew her?", Hyle answered, surprised. "Of course. I will show you the way." As she guided Mattol, she answered his question as well as she could. "I do not know who killed her. A geomancer called Aylin brought me to the battlefield, but... Aylin had a lot of allies, and new reinforcements kept arriving in waves even as I left. I didn't know most of them. And I haven't seen Aylin since. The memorial, though... I think Aylin must be the one who created it. I have no idea... how Kirino's end must have been." Hyle paused. "I'm sorry to ask such a question, but... could you kindly tell me more about... how she was like?"
Hyle, Warden of the Unknown Legendary Planeswalker - Hyle : You get an emblem with "Players can't cast more than one spell from their hands each turn." : Draw three cards, then discard two cards unless you discard an instant or sorcery card. : Exile an instant or sorcery card from your graveyard. You gain life equal to its converted mana cost and may cast that card for as long as it remains exiled.

A book finds it's way to your doorstep, waving a knife around. The pages flip peacefully, as though they're taking in the air around. The vines shredded themselves as soon as they showed themselves. I strode over to the fox, condensing more knives out of my cloud.Simplicity's Edge - Legendary Artifact - Equipment Equipped creature has +2/+0 and vigilance. Equipped creature has " : Exile any number of activated or triggered abilities. Activate this ability only during combat." Equip oops i accidentally your triggers Corrosive Wind feels pretty... weird. I guess it's alright, given that you actually have to land hits? I feel like you could make the trigger free if you upped the cost to , but that's just a gut feeling. 8/10 The petals beneath Rian's feet float up, and launch themselves at Mattol.
Bladestormer Creature - Human Rogue When ~ enters the battlefield, it deals 2 damage divided as you choose among any number of targets. 2/2 Simplicity's Edge: 9/10, no problems here

A fractal web of shards shred the petals as easily as the vines. I stopped and just kinda... looked at him.
"Have anything more solid, fox-boy?"
Mantle of Stillness - Artifact - Equipment Equipped creature has hexproof and "creatures entering the battlefield don't cause abilities to trigger." Equip Bladestormer is a nice little guy - it's definitely an evolution of the old "deal 1 damage when this enters play" creatures that Red gets. I think it's a little overtuned, but otherwise? I'd play it, and I wouldn't whine if my opponent does too. 8/10

A light flares across the sky, then descends sharply—very sharply. Seconds later, a large, metallic object drops from above, slamming into the ground and leaving a small crater near Mattol's house. A woman wearing strange armor crawls out of the wreckage and staggers to her feet, taking a few steps away from it and towards Mattol. She looks up at the mage, giving him a weak thumbs-up. At times like these, I wish I knew more about medicine.
"Let's get you to a doctor. My name's Mattol, by the way - I'm from the past. Or everyone else is from the future - honestly can't tell. Time is kinda weird here."(I love how we have four people that use some variation of pink/purple for their text. Hey, it's better than Hanska's "2/3rds of my text colors are practically illegible", right?) Repurpose - Instant - Each player sacrifices an artifact. Then target player gains life equal to the number of artifact cards in all graveyards. Crash Site is a pretty neat piece of removal. 9/10

Lady Mapi — Time-Shifted Bauble: While I like the idea, it unfortunately costs far too little. Compare Arcane Encyclopedia and note that this is better than a version of that card that costed 2 and 2 instead of 3 and 3. Good design, needs development. 7/10"The one I crashed? Powered armor. It was supposed to protect me from whatever hostile conditions I might run into here—which it did a damn good job of, although arriving eighty klicks up wasn't exactly what I was expecting. Would've put some jets on it if I was." She takes, but does not wrap herself in, the blanket, and accepts Mattol's support as they head over to the Outpost.(I'll continue this over on Windy's board. Feel free to join me there.)

I sat down and looked into my cloud. It glimmered beautifully as I set to work. I carved lightbeam after lightbeam, searching for... ah.
"There you are."
Thrice-Empty Mattol has unlocked Pink (⁂) as a color!
(More plainly, Pink works something like a more defensive Red, supporting itself with lifegain and disrupting opponent's through wheel- and chaos-style effects. It supports Enchantments and removes through tucking things. The main flaw it has is that has issues dealing damage to opponents - it mostly wins through alternate win conditions, such as decking your opponent.)

I gestured to the cloud of glass hanging around me.

Put an artifact or enchantment from among them into your hand, then put the rest on the bottom of your library in any order.
Cold Greeting saddens me. It's quite literally Raven's Crime except it costs more. If you did something else (exiled the card, did it at random, let you pick the card), I'd be overjoyed... but I can't give you better than a 6/10 for it - sorry, dude.

Why is that a card that existsLady Mapi Artistic Introductions: Very niche and not that big a payoff for self discarding, even if comboed with looting/rummaging. Maybe as sideboard tech but even then kinda not useful. But seeing as pink needs to identify itself inside of the color pie, I could probably see it. 7/10. He nods. Something smells off about this man underneath that power. Not malevolent, but... cold. "Bell." The dragon flies up to the cloud of glass and carefully stays outside of it, admiring the effect. Bell looks up at her blankly before turning back to Mattol. "Callie. Wanderers." he says, motioning to her with his head. "...What is the glass?" he asks after a moment. Callie gently prods at the glass with a claw.

Prodding Dragon Creature - Dragon Flying Whenever ~ deals combat damage to a player, you may destroy target artifact that player controls. 4/4 I smile as the glass chimes delicately. "Those are my raw materials." I reshape the glass into a mirror so that Callie can get a good look at herself.Inviolate Sheen - Instant Artifacts you control have hexproof this turn. Draw a card. (I know, right? Raven's Crime is so crazy good it's unreal. And pretty unfair, honestly, if you've got any sort of land recursion set up.) Prodding Dragon is a cute little card - I'd be happy to run it in my dragon deck (if I didn't have a ban on having actual dragon cards in my dragon deck...) 9/10

I guess you could say it's a crime
Lady Mapi Inviolate Sheen: I like it. More specific Heroic Intervention without the indestructible because off color. Not super sure it should cantrip, but probably fine like that. 9/10. Callie is surprised by the movement, but lets out a little happy rumble upon seeing herself in the reflection. Bell nods. This one could be dangerous. Her scales should protect her from accidents, but glass, especially his, was bizarrely odorless and particularly sharp. The dragon attempts to grab the mirror and hold it and admire herself, tumbling with it in the air. Bell rolls his eyes. "She appreciates that." he says.Dragon's Blessing Enchantment - Aura Enchant artifact or creature Whenever enchanted permanent becomes the target of an instant or sorcery spell, you may pay . If you do, copy that spell. You may choose new targets for the copy. "Gods help whomever decides to destroy a dragon's favorite toy." - Kyrionas, treasure hunter(Intended as a gift)

"She can keep the mirror, if she wants - I make glass from wherever I go, so I have plenty."
Speaking of which... "Actually, a friendly heads-up - the Arena might be heating up into a full-on war soon. I'm going to be leaving as soon as I get my affairs in order."Prized Relic - Artifact - Spells that target Prized Relic cost lest to cast. At the beginning of your upkeep, draw a card if Prized Relic is enchanted. Dragon's Blessing - that's a nice card. It's very versatile, and it turns open mana into a threat vs. any sort of removal. Give me four. 10/10

Lady Mapi Prized Relic: "Build around me" but a little weird. On it's own it's an artifact that doesn't do anything but I can appreciate it. 8/10. The dragon gives a small purr at hearing she can keep it, and keeps looking at herself. Bell looks at her. "A war. That makes sense." What with his Godhead and zombie horde. It wouldn't make a lot of sense for him to stay if he wanted peace. But if the said fighting killed enough to keep this place quiet... it was enough to try and wait it out, at least. "Thanks for the heads up." he said, before nodding and motioning to Callie to follow him. He walked away.

I easily deflected the stroke with my knife, and twirled around to put a glass shard to his throat.
"You need to do some work on your defense."
I dropped my hand and moved back a few steps.
"Try again, friend?"Song of Integrity - Instant Spells and abilities your opponents control cannot cause you to sacrifice permanents this turn. Your opponents cannot sacrifice permanents to pay costs this turn. Seal of Purification could definitely get away with being uncommon. 8/10 Practically sweating buckets, Rian steps back. He proceeds to... disintegrate into flower petals?
Creature - Illusion Flying, lifelink When ~ becomes the target of a spell or ability, sacrifice it. If you do, you gain life equal to the spell's converted mana cost or the converted mana cost of the ability's source. 2/3 Song of Integrity: Heck yeah sacrifice hate! 9/10

I laughed. "You should have lead with that trick. Not much I can do against the incorporeal."
I sat down and waited to see what would come.Thoughtless Fog - (⁂)Instant - Put target creature on the bottom of its owner's library. "Then I asked myself, how did I get here?"Soothing Simulacrum is interesting - however, you could push it a bit more. Compare it to Aerial Responder - it's a slightly more specific casting cost for an arguably worse ability. Still, neat idea. 8/10(Also, I would like to reincarnate soon - just a heads up. If you could rate my card 11/10 that'd be lovely.)
