A bond broken, a flood of power.Lava Leash isn't rare enough. Manlands have never shown up below uncommon - they dodge sorcery-speed creature removal, among other things. It looks like it would be a fair uncommon, though. I give it a 7/10.

sylphiod - Thanks! @khorakos "Why thank you, Aylin! You seem like my kind of person - you'll have to teach me that beautiful trick when we get a chance."Blushing Praise - Enchantment - Aura Enchant creature. Enchanted creature has +2/+0. Whenever enchanted creature deals combat damage to a player, you may untap a Mountain you control. "I've never seen anything like you before."Raging Cliff looks pretty fair - my only concern would be tutoring it out with stuff that pulls cards with basic land types from your library. 8/10
cyberchronometer and fluffydeathbringer"You know, you burn down ONE plane and people think you've got a pattern going. I'd be insulted if it was coming from anyone who was less eag- DON'T YOU TOUCH MY FUCKING SALAD, YOU GODDAMN RODENT!"Cowing Outburst - Enchantment - Aura Enchant creature When Cowing Rage enters the battlefield, you may deal 3 damage to any target. Enchanted creature is a Coward in addition to its other types and cannot attack you. Like bumping into a drill sergeant with a tooth ache. The slight woman brushes herself off and brings the sparks in her eyes under control. "I'm sorry I snapped at you, Mr. Bunny. I've really been waiting for this salad."Devious Lapine is wonderful and I want it in my Gruul "overwhelming charge" deck. I can't find anything to complain about here. A 10/10, if you weren't a guest. Janika, Hightown Enforcer looks like a fun design - she slots right into quite a few white decks. My one concern would be the repeatable Path, combined with churning out some 0/2's - I can see her being a bit of a nightmare with the right setup. 9/10

Casstastrophe : "You know, it's funny that you'd blame me for not caring about people. Do you understand the people in your charge? Their hopes and dreams? Their loves, their hates, the little things that make them more than just drudges? If you'd care to stay awhile and listen, I can tell you why Agahest burned."She pauses for a moment then turns to Annik."You know, she'll take you back in if you go home. No need to punish yourself for it."Homesickness Enchantment - Aura Enchant creature At the beginning of your upkeep, the enchanted creature's owner may return it to their hand. At the beginning of your end step, the enchanted creature deals 1 damage to its controller. There is no place like home.Annik Trav is a Renegade Wheelsmith that traded +1/+0, being red, and triggering its ability on any tap... with granting Vigilance to vehicles and being slightly easier to cast. I'm leaning towards that being a losing trade - a point of power can be the difference between tapping one creature to crew a vehicle or having to tap two. And Vigilance is, unfortunately, not very good for Vehicles, since you'll need to tap creatures to let them block as well. As a result, I don't feel like I can give you more than a 6/10 - sorry. shiftyhomunculus : "Ah. Yes. The Oblays were one of the ruling houses of Agahia, mostly spitting out vintner-princes (wine was our lifeline, you see) and hieromancers. I am, as you can see, neither. I came into my power as a trembling young lady in the flower of my youth, all demure and proper. One day, I saw one of my house-servants look at me and I knew exactly how he felt about me. I told my father, and he ran the boy through. I felt my father's contempt like salt on my tongue." She frowns at the memory.
"I kept getting bits and pieces as days and weeks stretched on. I could feel the hateful fear of the peasantry and the fearful contempt of my fellows. I started to notice how the society I was born into ground everyone down bit by bit, day by day. No one was safe - the lowest peasant and the highest judge had to ride the same bucking horse, unless they wanted to be trampled. I saw some people like that, you know - they gave up, and they died for it.""I was betrothed to a judge twice my age, and it was the custom to let the bride and groom each give a small speech to the assembled crowd before taking their vows - weddings were one of the few places that everyone mingled outside their station. When it was my turn to speak, I opened my mouth to speak but nothing but sparks came out." She closes her eyes and chuckles. "The riot broke out as soon as everyone realized what I'd given them. By the time I left, that riot had grown into all-out war. I had given them a gift, my handsome Rook - I made them realize how broken the system was. It isn't my fault that they couldn't handle that truth."Tenuous Reach - Instant Tenuous Reach deals X damage to target player, where X is the number of lands that entered the battlefield under that player's control this turn. Then that player sacrifices a land if X is 3 or greater. Wood or Weald is a really nice Gifts Ungiven-style card. Most of the time, you're going to be getting two lands out of it, which is an appropriate amount of ramp for 4 mana. Although you can "tutor" out nonbasics with it, that's balanced out by the fact that you don't control which lands you get. A 9/10 - good job.

Homesickness: Flavor is on point, but it just doesn't do much when it's in play. One damage per turn gets annoying, sure, but this is a late pick in draft at best. Props to you for making red bounce make sense, though! 7/10.

Obris ponders the tale. A revolutionary, of sorts, if not an entirely premeditated one. Her "gift" was upending the very structures he's trying to restore to Elnoch. He should hate her.
"They weren't worth having as subjects if a handful of sparks could set them ablaze."On Tenuous Reach: This is an interesting punisher-type card, and fits nicely into the mold of red's "if you get fancy, fuck you" cards like Price of Progress. I don't know if it needs to be double red, but that's a minor quibble. 9/10.

Once there was a maiden from Agahia Who beheld the hearts of others She looked into the hearts of slaves She looked into the hearts of masters They were one and the same "Freedom lets go", she said.(Kirino Oblay may now create Rare, Mythic, and Special cards! Everyone is amazed!) shiftyhomunculus"That's one way to look at it, my charming Rook. I've come a long way from the naive little girl I once was." She looks him up and down, and smiles. "You know, I think baldness is a virtue in men - it makes them look distinguished and experienced. It's a shame most people don't start balding until they are wrinkled and tired - they can't use it as well as the young and virile can."Baldness is, after all, the most efficient of hairstyles. gurfafflekins"It's impressive. There are three of us here. Two of us came from a similar place. Two of us have similar philosophies. But none of us agree on the best course of action. Writ of Immunity
Conspiracy Hidden Agenda (Start the game with this conspiracy face down in the command zone and secretly choose a card name. You may turn this conspiracy face up any time and reveal that name.)
Permanents with the chosen name can't have counters placed on them. "The council has decided that your task requires that we suspend certain charges. Do not abuse this right."Insurance Agent is very swingy. On the one hand, it's easy enough to play around - heck, there are a lot of decks that will never trigger its effect. The same, of course, goes for fear (that's why they phased it out). On the other hand... potentially dropping six (or more) -1/-1 counters on a creature is pretty strong, especially in conjunction with some of the die-roll improving effects from Unstable. In any case, though, it's a 2/3 for , which is playable. I'll give it a 7/10 - I'm sorry, but the randomness makes it feel oh-so-much worse. solir: Kirino breaks out into a belly laugh. "Me? Acting like a child? My dear former queen, I'm not the one stomping around shrilly shouting that everyone should follow my rules. We adults don't need to have rules passed down to us by some 'higher power' - if you can run, you don't need crutches. In any case, you gave up your crown - any authority you might have had went away with the responsibilities you discarded. How childish, really."Radical Freedom - Instant As an additional cost to cast Radical Freedom, sacrifice a creature. Add equal to the converted mana cost of the creature you sacrificed. Writ of Immunity: A simple Conspiracy, neat use of hidden agenda, responds to the card. Fits in uncommon because, sometimes, it's just irrelevant. 10/10.
P.S., may I just say, I'm glad someone is doing Conspiracy cards, I enjoy seeing those around-- there aren't enough, I feel like.

Common Passions: There's got to be a way to break this, but I'm not sure how. I think that's a good thing on the whole, getting people to flex their Johnny muscles, and it's costly enough to be Fair Magic (tm). Reminds me a bit of Goblin Warchief, but without a body and (of course) without tribal restrictions. I could see this in Commander mostly, though I'm not sure what deck it would fit in. 8/10.

After some time in the arena, Kirino came to know one thing - she was outmatched. She'd never needed to fight before - a little emotional pressure usually made problems dissolve. However, there were other beings here with similar levels of mental force. And that meant she needed some different tools.
She did something that she hadn't done in a while - she meditated. She sat in her little home and peered into the depths of her own head, trying to find the hieromancy that her tutors had tried to drill into her bored head so long ago. When she found her lessons, they had been burned to ashes, leaving that part of her mind blank and clean.
She sighed, and began to write.
There once was a maiden ruled by her passions. She screamed at chains and fetters. She screamed at laws and injustice. She screamed at herself and who she once was. She screamed until her throat bled, And found clarity. "I am not my passions", she whispered. Kirino Oblay has spent 100 Valor and is now . fluffydeathbringer and Fleur "The little girl with the suspiciously nice hat? She's possessed - and by something particularly nasty, too. I'm afraid that the roots are deep, and I suspect that direct attempts to pry the thing free will give Karina some permanent mental damage. I'll continue with my own research, and I'll keep you informed - but a word to the wise. If she offers you her hat, don't try it on."Consider the Evidence Enchantment Whenever an opponent creates one or more tokens, you may draw a card. Spark Reflection is pretty neat, and looks pretty fair. I can't think of anything to complain about here. I give it a 9/10. Examine Outbursts... ooh, I love investigate. Unfortunately, I don't think this should cost - too many things interact with Clues (both directly and indirectly) for this to be a good idea. It might be fair for , though. A 7/10 - it would be lower, but I really like the idea behind it. cyberchronometer "Why certainly, my dear Rettai. Are you alone, or have any of your trainees behaved well enough to get a treat as well?" Her smile, at least, is genuine.Home AdvantageConspiracy Hidden Agenda (Start the game with this conspiracy face down in the command zone and secretly choose a card name. You may turn this conspiracy face up any time and reveal that name.) Activated abilities of non-basic land cards with the chosen name cost an addition to activate. Rettai, Overwhelmed Bureaucrat is rather nice - that Lightning Helix emblem is pretty sweet. He really wants to be in a creature-heavy deck, since he otherwise messes up your tempo too. I'm giving him a 9/10.

Lady Mapi — Home Advantage: This would be more cleanly worded as "nonbasic cards," I think, and should say "an additional ." Still, a targeted Suppression Field conspiracy is neat, and other than the minor wording quibbles I have no objections. 9/10. "I wasn't planning to, but now that you mention it, I'm sure my newest recruit would appreciate some Kinshalan ices. I'll go retrieve her—and the trainee of mine who's been onboarding her—and be right back, shall I?"
When Rettai returns several minutes later with Tam and the new recruit, Kirino recognizes a familiar face.Karina, the Intern Planeswalker — Okus : Until your next turn, whenever a permanent you control becomes the target of an ability an opponent controls, counter that ability unless that player pays . : Scry 2, then reveal the top card of your library. Target player loses life equal to its converted mana cost. : Gain control of target creature or planeswalker. It gains hexproof until your next turn. well Korakhos, I think she's about to get her wish. The tour of 7CI had been a lot of work on the host and a lot of information for Okus to parse without being able to soak in it like a mind. When Rettai had offered them a break, it couldn't refuse. It needed some time to collect all these thoughts.
All those thoughts crashed when they met Rettai's acquaintance.
Derailed Thoughts Enchantment Whenever a spell or ability counters another spell or ability, target player loses 2 life and you gain 2 life. "Oh I just had it, it was on the tip of your tongue."
Okus is assisting a defense, for possibly its biggest enemy on the Arena, against itself. You should know this is the strangest thing I've ever done.

"Hi, Kirino" approaches Aylin visibly bummed "There's not much going on in my life except, you know, Rekal trying to kill me, but stuff is beginning to get boring. I trust your criteria, is there anybody around here worth my time? Someone I can poke past the breaking point? Someone I can face in an epic encounter?"Stir Things Up Sorcery Each player shuffles their library, then exiles the top five cards. Each player then chooses a nonland card at random exiled this way. Until end of turn, each player may play a card they own chosen this way without paying its mana cost. "Hmm... let me see... I can't think of anyone off the top of my head, other than the big greedy orc, Rettai and his motley crew, and Obris. Everyone else I can think of is either already trying to kill you or would probably be too flimsy to give you a good go at things. Unless..."Kirino grins and starts taking off her jacket."You know, I've been meaning to improve my actual fighting skills. I could go for a bit of a duel. Don't worry - I'll go easy on you."Consummate Mind - Enchantment - Whenever a player casts a spell from exile, you may draw a card. It takes a certain kind of person to account for thoughts that don't exist.Stir Things Up is a fun card for multiplayer. It could do with some clarification regarding whether or not players are choosing randomly from cards they own versus choosing randomly from all of the exiled cards. I sorta suspect the latter, which is a shame - it'd have a better feel if players could just cast the spell they picked, no questions asked. I'll say it's an 8/10. cyberchronometer & cajun To Kirino's credit, the only sign of her surprise and displeasure at this turn of events was a brief ripple of anger that led to a fistfight down the street. To anyone who didn't have access to mental magic, she was all smiles.
"You're recruiting them rather young now, aren't you, Rettai? Well, I suppose you're the expert - and I do feel that she has that special something your organization looks for. Proper introductions can wait until we are sitting down with our ices, though. They really are worth the trip - Kinshala might be a bit dangerous, but the risk just adds to the flavor. A word of advice - don't get the pistachio. Oh, it isn't poisoned or anything, it's just that pistachios aren't native to Kinshala and they still haven't mastered extracting the proper flavor. ".o0( I see you've found yourself a nice place to hide, hat. May I suggest a temporary truce? The ices really are worth it - besides, I don't want to jeopardize Karina's safety. )Cursed Plentitude Enchantment - Aura Enchant permanent. Whenever an opponent activates an activated ability of the enchanted permanent, that player draws seven cards. There is a fine line between generosity and torture.
Karina, the Intern is really impressive for a two-mana walker (I mean, given what we have to compare her to, that's not all that surprising). I think her +1 needs to be toned down, since it's currently what we in the business like to call "absolute crazy-cakes" - as it is, it's almost more impressive than her ultimate. I'm going to give her a 7/10, because that +1 is ridiculous, especially on something that costs two mana. EDIT: Shows what I get for sitting on my post.
