Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of each week, a winner will be determined by forum poll. The winner's card will be rendered and featured on the Welcome page, and the winner decides the challenge for the next week's Contest! Here we go, competitors: our five-hundred and thirty-fourth challenge! The winner of the "Wild Gods of Nahal'or" poll was The Harlequin with...And the challenge issued by our winner was... Look, there are two funny magical ferrets. What are they up to? Let’s stick around and find out. Design a Blink/Flicker able card (Not only limited to what the ferrets can blink/flicker) To increase your chances of winning and to also make creating the poll easier on whomever is doing so, please try to use a render. Additionally, please try to keep your entry edits all in one post - if you need to change it you can put your old entry in a spoiler marked "Old entry" and leave the newest rendition to be seen. Just use the edit button in the top/right of your original post. And now, time to begin the challenge! Best of luck, competitors!

Essence Flicker Instant Exile target permanent, then return it to the battlefield under its owner’s control, then repeat this process X more times. The Harlequin : See, you should've mebbe made that clearer. Ok, how about this: Spelljacker Sage Creature--Frog Wizard Flash When this creature enters, exile target spell. You may cast that card for as long as it remains exiled, and mana of any type can be spent to cast that spell. 3/4 That's how I'm gonna flicker it!

How about both?
Banisher Priests can be useful blink targets to reset them and trap a newer, bigger threat - but by adding Evoke to the mix, Lantern Elemental can be used to blink something else as well

Here's my entry for #534, we really need to get better in regards to the Prompts for the challenge, it's been three challenges in a row where there's confusion about it.Design Process: As many of you know, I enjoy revisiting old mechanics that haven't been used in a while, however, Constellation is more of a "pseudo keyword" and it has been used very recently, Calix, Guided by Fate is the most recent card with Constellation on it. Therefore, this sort of deviates itself from my usual design process, but as soon as I saw the art by Anato Finnstark, I couldn't shake the Nyx vibes, so the design process was a bit backwards this time. I am in fact, a Blink Connoisseur, Brago, King Eternal was one of the decks I ran since I built it after going flawless in a Conspiracy draft. However, it quickly devolved into combo territory which in turn, transformed the deck into a heavy control + stax deck with a combo, and after a while, it was random and cruel control + only the necessary parts to combo with Brago. So I ended up taking the deck apart and letting Blink to be something I used to play, since the blink component of it became very lacking, Brago was an excuse to run a combo and play W/U, not blink. Then this little mischiveous little rabbit suddenly entered the fray, and it has become my main deck, it has terrorized and confused so many players in my LGS at this point that it gained the monicker of "The Bunny Deck", and while I love it with all my heart it does have a tendency to go infinite accidentally, so I designed something that couldn't go infinite by itself, but also something that didn't kick Karmic Guide out to the streets, but also, something that could snowball with deck construction and clever play patterns, without just flooding the board with massive creatures. Enter the newest MTG expansion, Duskmorn, and the Glimmers, creatures that upon their death, they return to the battlefield in the form of enchantments, however that conflicted with Nyx, that was just going infinite by itself, bringing as much creatures out of the graveyard as you could pay. So, I decided to add the clause for them to become enchantments after they touch the battlefield, preventing the card from triggering by itself.

A very niche use case for a "removal" -- But hey, my warp core cracked on my last 40k table top night and caused my space support to land on the wrong planet. So that's that
