The Price of Yar-Kul's Ambition   (As this Saga enters and after your draw step, add a lore counter. Sacrifice after IV.)I. Create Yar-Kul, a legendary black 0/1 Human Minion creature token with “This creature enters the battlefield with two +1/+1 counters on it” and “As long as this creature has no counters on it, it’s an Insect Minion.” II. Remove all counters from another target permanent. III. You may sacrifice a creature. If you do, draw two cards and create a 1/3 black Frog creature token with reach. IV. You may sacrifice a Frog. Deskin Instant  Put a -1/-1 counter on target creature. That creature becomes colorless. Create an Equipment artifact token with "Equipped creature gets +1/+1" and "Equip  " that is the color of the targeted creature as this spell is cast. Authentically man-made hand-crafted suit. BinaryBolas’ card reminded me of this design I made a while back: Bone Remover  Artifact ,  : Put a -1/-1 counter on target creature with no -1/-1 counters on it, then flip a coin. If you win the flip, create a 1/1 black Skeleton creature token. |

Seems like my Saga template is broken (either when I portet MSE over to my new computer or earlier), so only the text version for now..
Not sure if it's "spooky", but I'd consider it psychological horror for sure 
Legendary Enchantment - Saga  Read ahead (Choose a chapter and start with that many lore counters. Add one after your draw step. Skipped chapters don’t trigger.) I .. ∞ - You may reveal a card you own from the Xth Secret Lair drop from outside the game, where X is the number of lore counters on New Secret Lair Alert!, and put it into your hand.
(..obviously meant to be silver boarder / acorn..)

Are you sure you want activated abilities for The Cursed Harvest? The way you word the chapters, it sounds more like you want triggered abilities, like this: I-III--Sacrifice a Food and create a 2/2 black and green Plant Horror creature token with menace. If you can't sacrifice a Food this way, you lose 3 life. IV--Create a 10/10 black and green Plant Berserker creature token with menace and trample. I removed the requirement to sacrifice The Cursed Harvest because it's redundant--the very nature of Sagas requires you to sac them when they reach their last chapter. |

I-III--Sacrifice a Food and create a 2/2 black and green Plant Horror creature token with menace. If you can't sacrifice a Food this way, you lose 3 life. IV--Create a 10/10 black and green Plant Berserker creature token with menace and trample.

That was my first iteration -- But sadly there is no evidence that that would even work. And I am working on a way to fix it, be assured.
And I want to keep the main intention of the curse; Which is:
.) "Transforming" crops -- That is what the curse does (And the way you suggested it, it would create a token out of thin air -- Which is what I do not want)
.) A 180° food token effect if you can't oblige the curse.
And the Berserker part was.... well, a remnant of the back side being a normal enchantment.

The Advance of House Sorcery Destroy target land an opponent controls. Search your library for a Room card. Reveal it and put it into your hand, then shuffle.
I decided to be cheeky and use a card I made to mechanically reflect the Dead End story. |
