Some of the earliest custom magic stuff I did around the old Sourceforge forums was forum games with a planeswalker character I was halfway making up as I went. Though I've been doing less with my walker characters since then and they've changed a lot (and hopefully improved) since then, I wouldn't be here without that space where I could mess around with that creative space safely and with the support of likeminded people. In that spirit, choose one -
- Make a planeswalker card depicting an original planeswalker character that's visibly nonhuman in some way and isn't an elf, goblin, kor, or vedalken.
- Make a planeswalker card depicting someone else's original planeswalker character.
Please also include some lore info about your character in the entry; however much or little you'd like.
Please remember: You're not allowed to vote for yourselves. For further information please look at the CotW Rules.

{Background/Explanation/Comments}This is an idea I had a little while ago. Ozri is an ooze that was put through electrical experimentation by some Izzet scientists, which eventually triggered their spark and gave them sentience.
{sdfkjgh}Iji, Freed from Surface
Legendary Planeswalker – Ada
: Search your graveyard, hand, library, and exile for a card named Ada’s Reflection and put it onto the battlefield. If you searched your library this way, shuffle.
: You may sacrifice a creature named Ada’s Reflection. If you do, you may choose a card you own from outside the game named Ada of Mirrors and put it onto the battlefield.
: If you control a permanent named Iji, Freed from Surface, a permanent named Ada of Mirrors, and a permanent named Ada’s Reflection, for each permanent on the battlefield, you may create a token copy of that permanent, except that token’s not legendary.
Iji, Freed from Surface can only ever be your commander.

{Background/Explanation/Comments}Ada of Mirrors
Legendary Planeswalker – Ada
: Populate.
: Proliferate.
: Create a token that’s a copy of target creature.
: Populate, then populate, then populate, then proliferate, then proliferate, then proliferate.
Ada's Reflection
Creature – Reflection Minion
Ada’s Reflection enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
When Ada’s Reflection enters the battlefield, proliferate. (Choose any number of permanents and/or players with counters on them, then give each another counter of each kind already there.)

Reflections in this world are weird, kind of like how weird reflections are in our world*, except that these Reflections are self-animate and ambulatory. Because of the plane's unique properties, the plane's entire police force, military, and paramilitary is not only handled by, but is all this one guy:
Imi, Mirror Marshal
Legendary Creature – Reflection Soldier
Flash
A deck can have any number of cards named Imi, Mirror Marshal.
Haste, trample
Imi, Mirror Marshal enters the battlefield as nonlegendary until the beginning of the next end step.
Spells you cast named Imi, Mirror Marshal cost less to cast.
, Sacrifice this permanent: The next noncreature spell you cast this turn costs less to cast. You gain 1 life.

Some more cards to fill out the post:
Ada's Influence
Tribal Enchantment – Reflection
The “legend rule” doesn’t apply to token permanents.
Mirror Shatter
Signature Instant – Ada
(For as long as you control an Ada planeswalker, you can that planeswalker to search your library for a signature Ada card, reveal it, put that card into your hand, then shuffle. Normal planeswalker rules apply.)
Enforced (An enforced spell can’t be cast unless it was cast from a player’s hand by paying its full mana cost. An enforced permanent can’t enter the battlefield unless it was cast from a player’s hand by paying its full mana cost.)
Counter target spell. Create a tapped token that’s a nonlegendary copy of a permanent on the battlefield.
Otto, Ada's Pet
Legendary Creature – Beast Reflection
Flash
This spell costs less to cast for each creature token you control.
When you cast this spell, copy it X times, where X is the number of other times you’ve cast a commander spell this game. The copies aren’t legendary.
First strike, vigilance, trample, haste, reach, ward
Whenever you cast a creature spell, copy it, except the copy isn’t legendary if the spell is legendary.

(I'm thinking that once Ada's freed, she warps and twists Oro into Otto, either as a "reward" for loyal service, or as punishment for keeping her sealed away**. Either way, it's a torturous existence.)
*Think about it: a photon hits the electron orbital shell of an atom, that electron absorbs the photon and moves up to a higher enery state, then emits its own photon on the way down. That secondary photon travels at maximum speed to your eyes, where it's converted into electrochemical signals to your brain, which processes the fact that somehow, that secondary photon carried about the same amount and type of information the primary one did. Quantum mechanics is a helluva drug.

{Background/Explanation/Comments}I could just design my dragonborn wizard RP character, but what, another Grixis planeswalker that kills things and cares about spells?
Here presents Naisha, a water elemental created by a powerful mage. After she went rogue (yes the mage is pissed), she becomes the aspect of the water.

{Background/Explanation/Comments}In times past there was a mighty necromancer, who tried to push the limits of necromancy as far as they possibly could. This led to the creation of a zombie unlike any other, as this zombie learned by itself, and with time it became apparent that it even had a mind and will of its own. This fascinated the necromancer, as they didn't know how they managed such an incredible feat of necromantic creation.
For that reason they began to study the zombie vigorously, to the zombies dismay. No matter how much it pleaded for the necromancer to stop, they just kept going. Then one day, the zombie had had enough, and they attacked the necromancer. The necromancer used all their force to try and control the zombie, but something kept them from being able to dominate its will, so the necromancer was slain.
The rush of victory, and relief of being free made what had just been a small ember in it burst alight and the zombie was flung across the blind eternities, to another world. There the zombie learned the art of necromancy, studied the world around her, and she took the name Thandria.
Inspired by TheHarlequin returning to a planeswalker from past challenges. So I brought back Thandria from my #428: Help, it's stuck! submission.
It was quite fun to write up a short origin story for her. Maybe some time I write a real story with her. Exciting!

{Background/Explanation/Comments}Turul is a mythical falcon-like bird of Hungarian legend. Through a dream, the ancestor of the Hungarian people, while pregnant, had a dream where a Turul told her that her offspring will spawn a powerful lineage of kings, but not in the land where he's born.

Qeth Zorox, was once a devout follower and priest of the "god" known as bahamut for years. He always did as he was told by his superiors, believing that bahamut will reward him in the afterlife. But on a mission to clear out a ruin, his group ran into a demon more powerful then what was initially reported. At his time of need, he prayed to bahamut for help, and all he got was silence.
All he could do is run, run and hide, run and hopefully survive. Run, Run, Run. When Qeth fell from exhaustion, a beautiful woman stood over him. she revealed to him what he was. A planeswalker.
His seeming betrayal from the god he worshipped, and this new power he gained, becoming a planeswalker shattered the light and started Qeth down the part of necromancy. a healer no more.
(a lot more backstory but i doubt anyone wants to read a whole ass book, Based on a character i played in 3.5 DND. which is why i decided to go with skeleton's instead of zombies. Zombies were incredibly lackluster in 3.5)

{Background/Explanation/Comments}Hailing from my original proposed entry in the Design Your Own Theme Deck game, Menteal is a biomancer and metamancer whose specialty is taking the properties of one body and placing them in another. With these, they attempt to seek out and craft homunculus bodies in order to craft the perfect one to become their main host. In the meantime, Menteal's many bodies act as potential vessels for their transmissible soul, phylacteries of sorts.
A couple mechanical notes:
-This planeswalker can't be cast normally. Only via Mutate.
-If a planeswalker Mutates under a creature, it's able to use Loyalty abilities but damage doesn't remove the loyalty. On the other hand, mutating into a creature means it's vulnerable to any anti-creature stuff.
