Lost Rage- very in-color for white though the consequence / trade-off is perhaps leaning a little too blue. Still, not something I would see as out of place for white overall. It's also an interesting way to balance it, like there's very obvious choice at all times with this card (unless you're in for lethal you're almost certainly going for the stun counters here) but both effects are pretty strong for a one mana card. naturally, Flo00 wins!

Thanks for the feedback and win Idea!
Next up: Let's see some stun counters in black, red or green! No white or blue allowed!

Static Shackles Instant Put three stun counters on target creature, then ~ deals damage to that creature equal to the number of stun counters on it. (If a permanent with a stun counter would become untapped, remove one from it instead.)"Well, that hamster's not going anywhere fast."

{ZephyrPhantom}Counting stun counters to deal damage is a fun effect. I think just straight up putting stun counters on a creature doesn't feel like it should be mana red. Maybe it could be justified if the general flavor of the set around it allowed for it (like Exarchs or Praetors. {Daij_Djan}Calssic green thing to hate creatures with flying done in a novel way. Inspired by Whip Vine? {Idea}Feels like a redo of extort - in a good way. pretty neat if you can give it vigilance.
{vizionarius}Very flavorful gorgon. Funny how it can actually be used as a black decoy, which seems very out of color pie but the way it does it feels right at home in black.

Thanks for the win, Flo00 ! Initially, the tap wasn't part of the design, but without it, the stun counters would never fade away! Next: Make a nonblack card with menace, fear, or intimidate. Bonus for also making it nonred.

I actually think that, name aside and if you put the mechanic as a written ability rather than keyworded, it sounds very blue in the modern sense. It's basically just unblockable with a couple exceptions.

Widehorned Ox Creature - Ox Haste. ~ gains either menace, trample or first strike as long as it's attacking. 2/2

FeedbackIdea: Solid design that I feel is a much better design space than what intimidate and landwalk are. Putting this on a creature makes me realize that it's actually just a subset of what protection is! Very flavorful, too. If they re-branded this effect into something like "revered," it would be able to go on so many more cards than just intimidate. I like this a lot. elchetibo: I think menace in makes a lot of sense, and would not mind seeing it printed there often. The effect would have to have a trigger: "Whenever ~ attacks, it gains X, Y, or Z until end of turn." Solid design that makes sense flavor-wise, too. WinnerIdea for revealing a neat direction that intimidate can go.

Thank you for the win vizionarius ! For the next challenge, do some non-green, non-white colored damage prevention.

Seclude into Darkness Instant Until end of turn, if you would lose life due to damage from target creature you don't control, or from abilities of that creature, you instead lose 0 life. Reference

Kali, Survivor of the Wizard War Legendary Creature - Cat Wizard Prowess ( Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, this creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn.) If an instant or sorcery source would deal damage to Kali, prevent up to 2 damage from that source, then draw cards equal to the amount of damage prevented this way. "Not many can be struck by a lightning spell and tell the tale, yet here I am."
3/2

vizionarius {Spoiler}A roundabout not quite using the prompt... but close enough, I'll allow it. I quite appreciate this card being instant as it could save you from death by OTK combo. Now, although this is weaker as a pie-breaker I do feel it's underwhelming even taking that into account. The fact that this card only works on a single target makes it monumentally weaker than a fog effect. Like I mentioned there are niche applications, but for the most part the card is too localized and fickle. elchetibo{Spoiler}The mana value of this card and it's kicker effect are both wildly off. Boon of Safety gives a shield counter and scrys 1 all for one white mana. There are plenty of other one mana cards that give indestructible and more. This saves a creature from dying once and it's being rated at three times the price of those others. The quicker cost and effect would make sense on a stronger spells, but as it stands you'd probably be paying more for the kicker than whatever response your opponent would use for this. Good idea for the challenge though. melono{Spoiler}Not sure if this really works as a bend if only because it's not really doing the concept in a red or blue way. It's just straight up defending itself. If it specifically prevented damage from your instants and sorceries I could see it, but not as a it is. Balance-wise it seems like a very powerful card drawing multiple cards, pseudo-absorb and prowess. The card has great internal synergy, but it may make it far too overpowered. Daij_Djan{Spoiler}Going by other similar cards and seeing as blocking damage from a commander is common but not major I don't think, I think it's fairly in line with the remaining cards. Protection is a nice choice to deal with the challenge too. Winner

Nice, big thanks for the win! Originally, I actually wanted to go a completely different route ( Gaseous Form says hi^^) - but then had the sudden idea to use Protection instead.. Need a moment to think of a new challenge - just wanted to comment for now to make it clear I didn't miss the thread
Sorry for the delay, completely forgot about this. How about..

Sorry for the delay, completely forgot about this. How about.. So the challenge this time is non-green getting lands into play? Is that correct?

Oh yes, sorry if it wasn't clear (I quoted the 2021 Color Pie article above): Yes, please design a nongreen card that puts lands onto the battlefield or grants you additional land drops.

Guul Draz Abomination Creature — Elemental ~’s power and toughness are each equal to the number of Swamps you control. When ~ enters, you may pay 2 life. If you do, you may put a Swamp from your hand onto the battlefield. */*

Refreshing Walk Sorcery If you have less life than an opponent, gain 3 life. If you control fewer creatures than an opponnet, create a 1/1 white Soldier creature token. If you control fewer lands than an opponent, search your library for a Plains card, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle. If you have fewer cards in hand than an opponent, draw a card.

Burgeoned Burden Enchantment Whenever a land enters under an opponent's control and that player controls more lands than you, you may put a land card from your hand onto the battlefield. Based on good ole Burgeoning, but then it checks not only plays, but also enters. But, also, white limits. Could work well with bouncelands though.

@ elchetibo: I mean.. feel free to prove me wrong with the specific design, but in a vacuum I'd say no, that alone is not enough / something different..

If this is the second time this ability resolves this turn, ~ gains trample until end of turn. , , sacrifice a Mountain: Search your library for up to two Mountain cards, reveal those cards, put one onto the battlefield tapped and the other into your hand, then shuffle. 6/6

Hi everyone,
just noticed I completely forgot about this one. Currently doing some renovations, so rather than a full judging I'll only announce the winner so this challenge can finally continue: It might just be a slightly changed colorshift, but I really like Burgeoned Burden - congratz to melono!
