A couple nitpicky things: the order of the colors in the cost should be GWU, not WUG. Also, "tap or untap," not "untap or tap." Thanks. Mana cost order has always been wonky to me. In sets, the colors go W > U > B > R > G, the same order as the back of an MTG card. But mixed colored mana follows a different rule. For two color costs, think of the colors as being in a loop/circle, rather than a row. From there, you want to skip over as few colors as possible to get to the next color in the cost. There are two rules for tri-color costs: if it's a shard, the shared ally goes in the middle; if it's a wedge, the shared enemy goes in the middle. 4 color costs go back to the loop/circle. You want to follow the loop without skipping a color. Hope I helped some

this challenge is closed, with an exception for solring - I'm going to rule that the split card is four colors (which it is) and is invalid, if you want to edit in a new entry in the next day or so before I'm done judging I'll count the new one.

thred not ded (Seriously though, sorry for the delay.) {Tesagk} Purity of the Art Enchantment Whenever a blue creature token enters the battlefield, draw a card. Whenever a green creature token enters the battlefield, target creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn. Whenever a white creature token enters the battlefield, tap or untap target creature. Drawing a card for each blue token is without a doubt the best “mode”, the green token buff is passable, but giving Raise the Alarm tap/untap text is not super useful, especially lategame. Each mode does have different strengths depending on the token producer, which is a nice idea, but the value will fluctuate wildly depending on whether you draw a blue token producer or not. At five mana this will likely struggle to make a significant impact in games. It may be better to trade off the variety of effects for a cost reduction. (also is it meant to trigger on opponent’s tokens? maybe “whenever you create a … token”) {Jartis} Dictate of Bolas Enchantment Flash At the beginning of each opponent’s upkeep, that player loses 1 life, discards a card, and sacrifices a nonland permanent. Well, this definitely tips the scales in your favor. Asymmetrical discard and sacrifice can have an impact in the short- and long-terms, so I’m unsure on the cost- six is probably the right CMC, since in the short-term Cruel Ultimatum is a much more significant advantage. In a fast metagame it could be five, but that gets dangerous in limited. Extending the Dictate cycle was a neat idea, but I’m iffy about flash on this compared to the cycle- on the dictates it was mostly useful to get the most out of the effect of the enchantment itself, while here it specifically helps control not tap out for it, breaking the comparison a bit. {Yoshi} I’ve rewritten my review of this a couple times, but am going to stick with the plus being “very potent” as opposed to “too powerful.” Just lifelink would be good, but it’s also flexible, with two other options that can turn combat in your favor. I do like the decisions it makes, especially with vigilance being an option to protect your new walker. The minus and ult are nice, slightly less W but still within the bounds of Mardu. An additional generic mana or even just 2 starting loyalty would help balance it out unless Mardu really wants to be a thing in the meta. (also I feel the minus should exile the creature if it would leave the battlefield, as those effects tend to do) {gluestick248} Wrathful Lightning Sorcery Wrathful Lightning deals 5 damage to each creature. On one hand, this is a clean design that plays to each color’s propensity for wrath effects. On the other hand, it doesn’t quite align with W’s typical wrath strategy (most often completely symmetrical, and often favoring weenies) and could quite easily be mono-R- and in fact was mono-R quite recently with Hour of Devastation. Could this see print? Potentially, but it would have to be a tricolor set that can get away with bending the typical multicolor expectations (see: Duneblast). {kinotherapy} Not being able to choose a target makes it hard to justify paying three mana a turn, and not using the ability every turn makes it more likely that when you do it’ll be a less powerful creature. Needing six specific mana to get any benefit from it is also harsh, although the payment is split. The potential for advantage is there, but it comes at a cost. {gateways7} The name resonates quite well with the concept, although it is ironic that the call of vengeance can lead to more lives lost. I like how this looks to play in an aggressive Mardu strategy, forcing damage through and/or getting trades. It’s unlikely that you’ll be able to buy it back the same turn you cast it for a while, but if you’re running low on cards it can be a great help lategame. {solring} Interesting flavor, but ends up being a color miss. A straight wrath in Naya would be pushing the boundaries pretty hard already, but one-sided wraths are pretty explicitly in B. Maybe have it show the collapse of society more through an RG artifact destruction/”damage to all creatures” effect? Quite difficult to narrow down, but in the end… {Winner} The winner is gateways7! Congrats! The runner-ups are Yoshi and Jartis. e: quick pings to bump: gateways7 Fleur Jartis

ah shit forgot about this. Thanks for the win, monger!
Your next challenge: Make a multicolored card that uses one of the new Ravnica Allegiance mechanics (Spectacle, Afterlife, Adapt, Riot, and Addendum) or one of the old Guilds of Ravnica mechanics (Mentor, Jump-Start, Surveil, Undergrowth, or Convoke) that doesn't have both colors of it's respective guild in it's color identity. (For instance, you cannot make a Rakdos card with Spectacle or a Bant card with Addendum, but you can make a Azorius or Rakdos or Grixis card with Afterlife. Hopefully, this makes sense, if not, sorry.)

Crash the Party Sorcery Target player chooses a creature card in their graveyard. Put that card onto the battlefield under your control. It gains haste until end of turn. Exile that creature at the beginning of the next end step. Jump-start (You may cast this card from your graveyard by discarding a card in addition to paying its other costs. Then exile this card.) "And Judith said I wasn't invited. Hah!" —RakdosEDIT: Crap, doesn't work as I intended. Was hoping that you'd be able to reanimate the card you discarded to jump-start, but costs are paid after targets are declared (see comprehensive rule 601.2, sections c and h). Back to the drawing board, laddies! EDIT 2: Minor tweak saved the day.

Thought Rend Instant Each player discards their hand. Addendum — If you cast this spell during your main phase, each opponent loses life equal to the greatest number of cards a player discarded this way.

mrlozano: This is the Golden Game. So every entry must be multicolored. Speaking of which: Knackgussle Instant Gain control of target instant or sorcery spell, activated ability, or triggered ability. You may choose new targets for it. (Mana abilities can’t be targeted.)Spectacle—Exile a blue card from your hand. (You may cast this spell for its spectacle cost rather than its mana cost if an opponent lost life this turn.)Spectacle into Force of Will
