Aetherbound: 8.5/10. I like the aethercast option. I like that it's enchant permanent. Every time I see an enchantment with "enchanted creature can't attack or block" I instantly compare it to Pacifism, but I think this is better. Dieule looks to Haia, watching as she is knocked over by the impact of its shot. "One down, but not for long." Dieule slowly approaches Seiva, anticipating a projectile to dodge. A liquid within Dieule is audibly moving, albeit not loudly, as its cannons fill back up. Speedform

With the same bland expression "I doubt you could do any better, than her. She goes through her jobs so fast that there will never be any need of you." Just so I'm clear, was this intended to be from my Seiva? It might be helpful to know that common courtesy in RPGs is to never have another player's character do or say anything without asking them. Generally you should leave that to the other player. (In case you ever hear the term "Godmodding", that's usually what that refers to.) It's different if you're controlling two of your own characters (for example, my post had both Seiva and Haia, the Head Advisor and the Architect), or if you're copying their line and putting your character's responses there. It came up since if this was intended to be for Seiva, this is out of character for both how she talks and the person she's talking about. I don't have time to type a card response at the moment, so you have some time to fix it. Re: Points: When you get a rating, that gets added to your characters total Valor and Score. Your Score is a permanent count of how many points you've gotten. Your Valor is a temporary count, which you can spend (in groups of 100, usually) to add points to your character sheet.

pacifistwestwoman WindyDelcarlo Seska scoffed at the entity's position, raising her hand for what would hopefully be the last time for this engagement. "From what little I understand of you, your promises, your, gifts, seem to ignore how they pervert the thing to which you gift them upon into a new reflection of yourself. You're not providing these things with the intent to empower others. You're merely spreading more of your essence into the people around you, like a plague."Seska squinted, before saying something she certainly would get rude looks from her professors for saying. "So quit pretending you're here to help, and go to the hells below."

Ready: 9/10. I'm not 100% sure on what the counter would do other than separate it from the other cards in exile, and I don't know the exact rules are for what would happen if it got exiled again, but assuming that it works the way I think it does, this is a really cool card. Popcornia Seeking Spellcraft: 8.5/10. So first off, it's a wonderful idea. I kinda want it to cost 1, and I don't think it needs the "until end of turn". I could be wrong on that tho. The machine stares straight past the ice bolt, looking at Seiva. "Then it seems we've misunderstood. I have granted your architect new insight into her existence. "That," Seiva adds after Seska's finished, "coincides with everything I know about you as well. I've heard of the Phyrexian damage to Mirrodin and to Intera from planeswalkers." Her eyes focus on her floating shard of ice, her breathing no longer being consciously controlled. "That type of damage is one of the many things that the Eternity Project for Interplanar Cooperation needs to stop. I appreciate the gift of a sample, but you need to..."And then Seiva's javelin disappears. Seiva's off-hand messes around until it finds a pocket and withdraws an empty glass vial. "Good thing I'm going back to the outpost..." She says under her breath. She looks at the red-haired woman, nothing but defeat in her eyes. "I'll have to let you handle this. I'm likely to kill myself if I cast anything further."// If there's no further response, Seiva flees much slower than Haia did. If there is, she'll stick around.
I'm not sure what deck I'd want to play Null Generator in, given a combination of cost and small effect. 6.5/10 Run Dry
Instant Destroy target artifact. You draw a card and lose 1 life.

Run Dry
Instant Destroy target artifact. You draw a card and lose 1 life. Run Dry: 9/10. Not a pair of effects I though I'd see together. (Next post will be on Poppy's board.)

// Leira is the only one outside when Haia runs back. Her breathlessness already has Leira panicked before she notices the splotch of oil, and in a single motion, she withdraws an aetherglass jar from a sweater pocket and captures whatever she can of the oil. A few taps on her transceiver -- ALERT -> ANI -- is all she needs before Ani also comes running, though he is much less prepared. When he arrives, all Leira does is hold up the jar. Ani excitedly grabs it and looks over the jar.
"Where'd you get this?" he asks. He holds it up to the light to try to look through it.
"Our architect brought it with her. She might be infected."
The mention startles Ani back to the moment. "Oh!" He looks at Haia, looks at where she was hit -- she calmly crouches and pulls the edge of her sweater down a bit over her shoulder so that anything that seeped through her sweater and shirt can be seen too -- and then looks back up at her. "Oh, well, uh, okay. I didn't really want to test that on a human, but I guess we don't have a choice now. I don't have a cure yet. We're working on it." While Ani's speaking, Haia's breathing rate is constantly increasing, more in the way that Ani would've expected someone that was contaminated. "But! But. I think our aetheric bodies are immune. I think we're safe."
Haia tries to slow down her breathing, with little success. "Y-you m-mean I m-m... might..."
"Odds are, you're fine. We'll need to keep you separate from other things just in case, but we should know within an hour or two if something's going massively wrong. Here, we've got an extra laboratory that we were using for, uh..." Ani cuts his thought off. "We were using it and we aren't. You know where that is. You can just hang out there and I'll see you in an hour when I know more about this, okay?"
"I-I, uh, shhure. I d-don't want to..."
"it'll be fine. Everything we know so far says we should be safe."
When Ani checks on Haia in an hour, she is laying on the ground staring at the ceiling with a drawing of the Litaran library in her arms. "Hi," he asks into the air, expecting a stuttery response with bated breath.
"A-am I okay?" Haia sits up, her sketch pulled tightly to her chest.
Ani releases his breath and carefully steps into the room. "Probably. Just gotta check if the oil's still there." As Haia pulls her sweater and shirt down again, silently praying to all the Spirit she can think of that she's fine, Ani pays careful attention. The oil that was on her body has all but disappeared. Both Haia and Ani make the note in their transceivers to send to the rest of EPIC.
"Volarians immune."
After a few moments, Ani also adds, "Consider Volarian Immunity for inoculation."
(Haia adds Enchanter to her list of things to do. EPIC adds Recover to the list of keywords they can use.)

WindyDelcarlo ...Somewhere out in the Arena, a usually aether-deficient environment according to EPIC's examinations, a large swell of aetheric material had appeared quite suddenly, and was only increasing the longer it persisted. Such an anomaly was, by definition, anomalous, and given EPIC's dependence on the substance, would likely prompt someone to investigate personally. If they could bare trecking out to the middle of a forest, at the bottom of a canyon, in what was definitely pure wilderness at this point. Worse still, they would find it wasn't merely an increase an aether, but a decrease in the surrounding material as well, due to what appeared to be a massive, material consuming hole in the ground. {? ? ? Card - Aether Sinkhole} Luckily, whoever Epic sent wouldn't be alone to investigate, as someone else, possibly familiar to the organization, was also there. Red-headed, cloaked, and wielding a sword that seemed to hum with glowing plasma, was camped out nearby.

Red-headed, cloaked, and wielding a sword that seemed to hum with glowing plasma, was camped out nearby. Usually Entelan transceivers use aether to map out a region, to detect where things are, and to navigate a plane. Then, at around the same time that multiple EPIC members felt a large flux of aether, transceiver mapping noticed a region without any Entelan influence that had a large amount of aether. EPIC's original purpose was to find ways to survive on low-aether planes, and this is what guides Leira, as Entela's only mobile combat caster, to seek out this location.
Leira has a notebook with her, observing the hole, and accepting the deep breaths of revitalizing aether. She takes a portion of it, channels it into a spell, and summons a small dragonfly made of rippling black and gold energy.
Shockshock. I feel like the front half of this can cost a mana cheaper; 9 mana is a whole lot for two instances of 2 damage and 4 for 2 is a big feels-bad. 7/10
Twilight Dragonfly Creature - Elemental Insect Flying Aethercast -- When Twilight Dragonfly enters the battlefield, if was spent to cast it, you may return target creature card with power 2 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield. Prevent all noncombat damage that would be dealt to you and to Twilight Dragonfly. 2/2

WindyDelcarlo The cloaked woman notices the arrival of someone else to this particular ecological disaster, and picks herself up to investigate this new arrival. If they'd decided venturing all the way down here was worth it, they certainly had a strong reason to. "I didn't expect to find anyone else out here, especially so close to...well, this thing," Seska...greeted, in a fashion, from a few meters away. Although the yawning hole in the ground was massive, it thankfully wasn't loud, enabling the two to speak from this distance, if they wished to continue doing so. {Gift? Card - Armored in Aether} Twilight Dragonfly - I like the use of Aethercast here, and it's a cute WB rare. 9/10

Leira's eyes shimmer gold when it flies above the hole, giving her vision from the dragonfly's point of view. "We don't really see a lot of aether around here, so looking into any source like this..." The dragonfly hovers over the hole, while Leira opens her notebook and starts making observations. "Sources of aether are fairly important to us."
I'm trying to figure out what the use case for this spell is. Unfortunately, it's also doing a very green thing and a blue thing, so it's probably very out of color. 6/10
Guided by Aether Instant Target creature gains protection from the color of your choice and from colorless until end of turn.

WindyDelcarlo Seska nodded, taking her own look over the precarious edge, before returning her gaze to the Volarion. "I can understand, aether is what I learned to work with where I come from, and being able to use it directly instead of gathering it first is helpful.""Still..." she continued, looking back to the sinkhole in front of them, "I don't think this feature is particularly stable, nor is it exactly safe to leave a giant gaping hole that releases raw aether out into the open unchecked..."{Gift Card - Aether Wellspring} Guided by Aether: Like God's Willing but also gets you colorless. Sure. 8/10

I'm taking measurements and making diagrams so Seiva can decide if it's something we can stabilize. If we can stabilize it without destroying it, it might serve as a better source than our oscillator."A second dragonfly joins the first, and the two of them extend to the circumference of the hole, making dashes across it as part of trying to measure without proper laboratory equipment.
Aether Wellspring is fine. 8/10 Aerial Passage Sorcery Put a +1/+1 counter on target creature, then create a 1/1 white Elemental creature token with flying for each counter on that creature.
