"Thank you," I mutter to the child. I speak up more when I look up to the woman. "I assume you didn't come here for our Kaira. Therefore, I assume you're here about 'Experiment Zero'. She was a synthetic planeswalker from Nulien that had other... planeswalkers within her, somewhere." Haia takes a seat on the ground, though she says nothing that might explain why. She primarily watches the child that is staring at the rubble."I learned the plane's name from her as she recited her half of a conversation that one of her planeswalkers had with a person named 'Lark'. Unfortunately, our logic processor couldn't find the names of any of the planeswalkers... before Zero turned to attack... something, and after that..." Seiva looks to the rubble. "That." "Synthetic pla- so the madman actually did it," she shook her head. "He... he really did it..." her voice weakens for a minute.
"Okay. Okay... We need... whatever you know about 'Experiment Zero.' Physical description, weapons, whereabouts, anything. If half of what the idiot that made her claims is true, and she's loose... whatever happened here isn't going to end here."
Dead or Alive Enchantment Whenever a creature an opponent control dies, return that creature to the battlefield under your control unless that player discards two cards.
decent chance this'll be the last attack, so if epic's got questions they should fire away
Remember the Name - finally, a counterspell that works with hive mind. 'don't control' prob narrow enough to just always get the two cards. 8/10

// Seiva takes a deep breath and taps through her transceiver for the report Hannah sent her about Zero. She brings the document up, which has a rough image drawn from Hannah's memory about how she looks, which means she's shown larger than normal."Alright, so. Zero looked like this when we last saw her. She was armed with a sword and had the ability to generate electricity through some kind of technology, I don't know any more about that..." Another moment of deep breathing. "Her circuitry is apparently compatible with Entelan logic processing spells, since Hannah could interface with her programming. I have no idea where she is or could be.""... If you don't mind, who are you two, and how did you know about..."// Seiva looks back up to the rubble.Dead or Alive very quickly gets to the point where it'll just take everything and I don't know that I like how easy is it to do that. 6/10 Disaster Report Enchantment If a creature you control would die, put it on top of your library instead.

WindyDelcarlo The stone pillar continued its journey, returning once more to the depths while the woman observed, the mass of earth nearly a quarter away now from being completely flush with the earth. Satisfied with the progress, she turned to face Haia, looking a little less like she was preoccupied now. "So! It's a pleasure to meet you. Sorry for disturbing you, but I just had the urge to do some light geology in this area. Ya know, research things!" She joked, as if everyone who could raise the earth at a whim to study it would do so, which was evidently not the case. "I'm Seska, and you are..."The pillar made a satisfying "thwump" behind her, now back to its non-precarious position of being an undisturbed patch of earth and stone. {Response Card - Holder of the Earthen Vigil} Standback - Like Pressure Point but cheaper, and the side effect of not actually getting rid of a potentially attacker or blocker. Don't like that its effect only matters on an opponents turn. 6/10.

"Between worlds...?" he says with a unsure tone to his voice, his eyes maybe still locked onto Seiva, but she can tell his focus is as far away as possible in his mind. "I-I..." he says with an unusually meek voice, before stopping himself and then continuing, "W-What do you mean between worlds...? And, you say I'm something called a 'planeswalker', right? I don't feel any different, what could have changed?" Wha..." The further he speaks, the more distressed he sounds and he starts trying to say what are clearly questions, but then he cuts himself off, unsure what to ask or say. "I'm not a planeswalker myself... I don't know what changes between a planeswalker being a person and being a planeswalker. Most others outside the city are planeswalkers though, so maybe they could answer you."Cleansing Breath Sorcery Remove all counters from target creature. If three or more counters were removed this way, put a +1/+1 counter on it. He lets out a loud sigh, and says to himself, "What have you gotten yourself into Ragnall..." and he then says to Seiva, "So... I guess I'm a fish out of the water on this... Seiva, do you know any of these 'planeswalker' people? You said that this is a hotspot for those 'planeswalkers', so I imagine you know someone who is a 'planeswalker'? Surely, they would be more knowledgeable about this subject and knows what it means to be a 'planeswalker'."Cleansing Breath: feels a bit too clunky for my liking 7/10 Zealous Revolutionary Creature - Human Soldier Haste When ~ enters the battlefield, choose one — • Put a +1/+1 counter on ~. • Destroy target artifact or enchantment. 2/1

WindyDelcarloSeska's glance turns to the structure, something she somehow had missed earlier, and her eyes went wide. She quickly pulled out a notebook and began scribbling, asking questions in between a series of sentences. "It looks amazing! How long did it take to make? Did you use geomancy or conjuration? How much time did it take? Are the materials local or did you have them brought in? What purpose does it serve? And..."Seska looked from the structure to Haia, her face deadly serious for the moment. "Can I touch it?"Her Elemental companion, seeing its work was done, dissipated, returning to the (hopefully) aether from whence it had come. {Response Card - Tome Scripter}
Litaran Architecture: I thought this said Litharan Architecture, and was disappointed at the lack of a pun. Name aside, neat! 8/10. Perfect Azorious mechanic.

She seems to forget her nervousness once she's not looking at Seska."I-it took about 6 months to build! We used Entelan aetherglass, some aethersteel, and polished Litaran quartz... And we brought it here through the aether tunnel since the resources back home are infinite and these ones probably aren't. I used some stabilizing enchantments to keep it standing and some other stuff to help put it together while Tano and Kesai did most of the physical construction. Missing a P/T, though it's not super relevant to how busted this is as a mana source. Usually mana doublers have to be pretty expensive because this, for example, is allowing for 10 mana on turn 4 if you're doing nothing other than play lands and cast this on turn 3. With a mana dork, it's not hard to just hardcast an eldrazi on 3. Definitely too much. 5/10 Eternity OutpostLand : Add . , , Sacrifice an artifact: Add X colorless mana, where X is the sacrificed artifact's converted mana cost.

As Kei says the last part, Ragnall goes dead silent and his expression becomes a sort of thousand-yard stare. Record of the Entelan Address re: Experiment Zero
"The events at the Arena Eternity Outpost shook Entela, and we're still dealing with the aftermath of it. However. Do not mistake grief for fear. Do not mistake growth for weakness. Do not mistake damage with collapse. The Eternity Project was damaged, just as it was when the outpost was attacked months ago, but it will recover. It must recover. We must push ever forward."
"Kaira was among the most devoted members of the Eternity Project. It should come as no surprise, given the circumstances. I can't begin to imagine what she would have to say if, only now, we decided to dissolve the Eternity Project. That is no longer an option. We know the dangers. The members that are currently working abroad know the dangers and are putting their lives in front of Entela to prepare us for connection with other civilizations. We have to continue to support them. We will continue to support them."
"To that end, we are looking for Entelans and non-Entelans equally interested in joining our quest to create a network of interplanar cooperation. People to set up outposts and settlements, to learn foreign languages and cultures, and to study the surrounding worlds in preparation for Entelan communication and development. People willing to protect those that travel abroad who are unable to protect themselves, and people willing to assist other worlds in their own development. The Eternity Project became a part of government months ago. It's time to stop treating it like a research project. It's time to take action."

Nadejda staggers into the EPIC outpost, in a suit of armor twice as tall but just as battered as the one she last appeared in. Coolant pours from a massive gash in the metal plating, one of several that reveal bare circuitry and mechanisms, and sizzles and steams where it hits the ground.
"Get Estova! Please! I need help!"
Nadejda's voice sounds slightly pained through the mech's external speakers.Battered Titanplate Artifact — Equipment Battered Titanplate enters the battlefield with three shield counters on it. Equipped creature gets +3/+3. Equip— , Remove a shield counter from Battered Titanplate.

Haia falls onto the ground as she tries to back away from the large construct, watching the fluid evaporate as it hits the ground. Once it asks for Estova, she quickly pokes her transceiver twice. Alert. Estova. It takes less than a minute for Estova to find his way out of the building and start running towards the large construct. "Hi, I'm here, what do-- what in the hell happened. Okay, uh, I'm gonna need aether. Varei, aether!"
"Uh, okay, what exactly did you do to it, what do you need from me, uh... what type of fluid are you dropping, does it have toxic effects aside from being cold..." While Estova starts asking questions, he uses very small magical lights to start imagining a containment field in case things go exceptionally sideways. 6 seems like a lot to pay for +3/+3 that you can only get 3 times. 7/10 Engineer's Containment Instant Exile target artifact. Its controller may cast it until the end of their next turn. Draw a card.

WindyDelcarlo — Engineer's Containment: This is, somehow, a red flicker spell I don't hate. Impressive pie work. 10/10By the time Estova's arrived, she's managed to get the chest panel mostly off, and leans out of the mech to talk to him. "Fluid's nitrogen; nontoxic, but it's two hundred below freezing, and the gas is inert; it displaces the oxygen in the air so breathing may be a problem. My armor's breached, leaking coolant, if I can't shut it down before the coolant runs out the magnets'll quench. And my magic's not working. I know it's not your kind of tech but every other reactor specialist I know is two centuries in the past, so, feel like learning quickly?"Unstable Core Artifact At the beginning of your precombat main phase, add one mana of any color and put a depletion counter on Unstable Core. When there are three depletion counters on Unstable Core, sacrifice it. If you do, it deals 2 damage to each creature and each player.

When there are three depletion counters on Unstable Core, sacrifice it. If you do, it deals 2 damage to each creature and each player. "Okay, alright, first step. Can you get out of there? If I can't shut it down I need to be able to get a containment on it, and I'm gonna need you to be outside of it. Haia, start working on that, I'll need your help with it. Okay, next step. Energy -- great, thanks Varei -- thermal ratio... Spirits, that's a lot. Wish Seiva could help with this. Okay, hm. Gotta be an input somewhere. Shut that off, that should shut down any kind of reaction. Maybe I can bust that; what kind of fuel are you using? Is it gonna explode if I open it to the atmosphere?"
// Haia takes a deep breath. While Estova focuses on trying to deal with the situation, Haia observes a similar field to Estova's thermal scan, but with a more specific goal. What's likely to happen if the heat stops being in one place? Where does the field need to be set up to protect against that? Is there a likely shockwave? There's no elemental energy, so there's no need to try to contain that... A grid of silvery lines starts to take the form of a cylinder around the suit.
Unstable Core seems like probably too slow as a pyroclasm and too slow/temporary as a mana rock. Since you can make mana rocks with upside at 3 that generate any color, this is probably fine to be at 3, even at uncommon. 7/10
Thermal Dispersion Field Enchantment When Thermal Dispersion Field enters the battlefield, prevent all damage that would be dealt to you and permanents you control this turn. Whenever damage is prevented this turn, put that many charge counters on Thermal Dispersion Field. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a charge counter from Thermal Dispersion Field and you lose 1 life. Then if there are no charge counters on Thermal Dispersion Field, sacrifice it.

WindyDelcarlo — Thermal Dispersion Field: Well, it's missing flash, but that seems to be the main issue with it. I assume the intended purpose is to flicker it repeatedly, because otherwise it's a bad Safe Passage; but if you can flicker it every turn you just don't die anymore. 7/10"The fuel's safe other than the temperature; I'm running aneutronic. I can get out fast if needed, but I want to try to stop it first—there's a shutdown injector that should deplasmify the fuel, which would let me turn off the magnet power so they don't need cooling, but it's damaged and won't fire. Good thought on the fuel; can you take care of that while I work on the injector?"Shutdown Sequence Artifact — Project At the beginning of your upkeep, put the top two cards of your library into your graveyard, then put a progress counter on Shutdown Sequence for each artifact card among them. [3-5] , , Sacrifice Shutdown Sequence: Target player sacrifices a nonland permanent with converted mana cost X or greater. [6+] , Sacrifice Shutdown Sequence: Choose a nonland permanent. Its controller sacrifices it.

Its controller sacrifices it. "Alright, I guess I'm opening it to the atmosphere then. Where are you..." A flash of gold traces the image of the reactor's interior space as Estova looks for where an input line could possibly be. Maybe there; that one connects to a reserve of some assortment. Hopefully that's it. "Haia, you doing alright?"// Haia doesn't respond, but a thicker silver circular line joins the middle of the cylinder."It looks like it's there. Doesn't make much sense to be anywhere else." Estova lines up a hand and takes a deep breath before sending a sharp blade of metal hurtling through the suit in what should be a fuel line and shouldn't be a person.I almost don't want to sacrifice this unless I absolutely have to. Mill 2 engine seems pretty good on its own if anything cares. 8/10 Precision Engineering Instant Remove all counters from target creature, artifact, or planeswalker. If three or more counters were removed this way, destroy it.

Sloppy Shadow fits right into suiblack and I love it. 10/10 Lightbringer's Field Enchantment Whenever an opponent pays any amount of life, you gain that much life. Whenever you gain life, create a 1/1 white Elemental creature token.

Whenever you gain life, create a 1/1 white Elemental creature token. Lightbringer's Field: 9/10. I think the first part seems very situational, but the card makes up for it with the lifegain trigger. "Well, let's see..." Dieule ponders, examining Seiva and Haia, "Fighting two of them will be a pain, but if they continue wandering the villages as they were before, the oil will be spread in no time. Maybe I can take one out before the fight even starts." Dieule fidgets into a firing position, and a small sound can be heard as a large drop of oil flies towards Haia. Phyrexian Cannon Artifact , : Put a -1/-1 counter on target creature.

Phyrexian Cannon Artifact , : Put a -1/-1 counter on target creature. Seiva's panicked look at she notices the projectile tells Haia to turn and let go of her spell, hoping to disable whatever Seiva texted her about, but nothing Haia does is fast enough to avoid getting hit. The drop of oil hits her shoulder, causing her to stumble back and let her spell fly. She falls to the ground, letting out a cry as she does so, and Seiva works on channeling a spell of her own to retaliate. That'll take a bit. Haia tries to gather herself, poking her transceiver to let others know what happened.Phyrexian Cannon is going to take over many limited board states. It kinda reminds me of Darkblast. 8/10 Aetherbound Enchantment - Aura Enchant permanent with converted mana cost 3 or greater Aethercast -- When Aetherbound enters the battlefield, if was spent to cast it, exile enchanted permanent. Enchanted permanent can't attack or block and its activated abilities can't be activated.
