...Seska's response to the now very aggressive faeries was turn turn around and begin sprinting downstream, running along the riverbank as she tried to get away from the most definitely absolutely certainly pertainly not to be messed with faeries.

...But not without covering her tracks of course. As her heel turned in the dirt to begin her escape, a small flash emanated within one of her bags, and a faerie of her own slipped out, snickering gleefully as it dropped a bomb of pollen, creating a cloud that if it didn't hide Seska for a quick moment, it would definitely disorient her aggressors.

Shaper of Cruelties: You'd get more points if this had a similar ability to my Shaper, but points for the name anyway. I like it as a better Notion Thief in that it's more fun for both players to play against, but also a fairly relevant draw penalty. Of course, its easily abuse-able with Blue Sun's Zenith, so it depends on the deck I suppose. 8/10

Briar isn't given a chance to respond, as the Faerie whisked away into the aether, leaving Briar pointing at empty air. The Faerie commander had her peace now, and more than likely, a new target on her ever growing list of miscreants.

Fae Ballista: Neat little equipment, with some hidden power in that first clause. 8/10

The Arena is a large place. So large that Zyrizys had been walking through it pretty much all his life and he never came across a spot he remembered perfectly. Admitedly, it wasn't that the arena was large; but rather, because Zyrizys had trouble remembering where he'd been, and where he was going,... and where he was. Come to think of it, where was he?

The blue lizardfolk elder looked around. "A forest? A glade?... Ah, whatever it's called it has got trees."

A flutter of motion caught his eye. Fairies. If he remembered anything about fairies it was that they gave good directions. He had also forgotten a great number of other things about fairies would might have made him adverse to the idea of asking for those good directions. Regardless, he called out. "Pardon me. I seem to have lost my way and forgotten where I was going."

"Oh, uh...  We figured we'd want to cover as much of the tree as possible using the aether, and the best way to get a uniform field of aether is a circle, so we probably want it to be like that.  Leira's got a diagram that a material effects person did the math on."

Leira displays the diagram around the tree using small motes of shadow.

Fae Trickery feels like it could probably just be black, since Faerie is a creature type mono-black can probably care about and most of the things it recurs are creatures anyways.  Otherwise it's neat.  8/10

Whenever a creature an opponent controls dies, put a +1/+1 counter on each Elemental you control.

As Leira starts observing and assisting the faeries, Ani listens to the question from the large small creature.  "Oh, Miss Lettie!  She knows a whole lot about what she does.  She's even started learning about Volarian plants, basically right out of nowhere."

Ani observes the large small creature.  "Mind if I ask a question of my own?  What are you guys, where are you from?  I don't think I've ever seen or heard about people your size that can fly like that."

Worth noting that Porcupine Maneuver represents attacking with Thing in the Ice on turn 3 on its own. 7/10

Aether Alchemy

As an additional cost to cast this spell, sacrifice an artifact or creature.
Create two Serum artifact tokens with ", Sacrifice this token: You gain 2 life and draw a card." You get .

"Oh, you don't know about aether?  Huh!  Aether's the thing we Volarians need to cast spells and, like, breathe.  It's the gassy stuff that was in that canister you guys took, and it's also in the, uh, what're they called... uh..." Ani stares up at the sky for a moment. "The blind eternities, that's the one.  The flowers are Vikrei flowers, they're using the aether from that thing."

"Oh, these?"  Ani points at his wrist.  "These are devices we made to be able to communicate instantly across the plane.  They're called transceiver, they use aethersteel and magic, which also needs aether.  So we've got Haia and the Head Advisor on the other end talking to a friend."

Twisted Words is definitely some hurts. The fact that it makes most auras and equipment from buffs into lethal, though, is probably a problem? 7/10

Interplanar Communications

Target opponent searches their library for an instant or sorcery card, reveals it, shuffles their library, then puts that card on top of their library.
Draw two cards.

"I think that's what planeswalkers like to call it.  We borrowed it to call ourselves the Eternity Project."

Ani pokes his transceiver to find a map and shows the faerie. It has a few names, a dark-green shaded area representing the forest, an a collection of blue dots. "It's even easier to not get lost since we can see the entire area and all the aethertech in it.  That big cluster of dots over there is our outpost.  It's also got, like, vital indicators, we can keep notes, it can do calculations for us, and it can access our entire database back in Entela.  I don't really get how people on other planes live without them, they're so so useful."

The only sources I have for how much this should hurt on a spell are from long ago, so it's probably good.  Being not able to hit creatures helps. 9/10

Aethersteel Transceiver

At the beginning of your upkeep, exile the top card of your library and put a charge counter on Aethersteel Transceiver.
When equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, you may cast a card exiled by Aethersteel Transceiver with converted mana cost less than the number of charge counters on Aethersteel Transceiver without paying its mana cost.

Ani flicks around the map while he talks. "I don't think I recognize that name.  Leira, did you find a place called Ruche Cour?"  He looks up for a moment to watch as Leira says nothing but shakes her head.  "Leira probably would've seen it since she spent all that time copying down Sanaerti's maps, and she'd have marked it on the map if it were around here.  Off-plane locations can't really get on the map of this plane, so you're probably looking for something on a different plane.  Do you know what plane it'd be on?  I could probably bring up an eternity map of the local planes if that'd help."

Odd One Out is very weird, it might be fine though. 8/10

Eternity Map

When Eternity Map enters the battlefield, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a land card and put that card onto the battlefield.

"Oh, is Ruche Cour what you guys call the space between planes?  That's what we called the Blind Eternities, it's the place filled with aether that's between here and everywhere else.  And that means there's an entire plane that's home to just faeries?  That must be so different from anywhere on Volaria."

Jumbled Map helps its playability by being an enchantment, but I don't know if I want to ever play against this in a format with fetches. 6/10

Eternity Outpost

"Well, yeah, there's a lot of planes around.  This one and Volaria are only a couple.  A whole bunch of people called planeswalkers have the ability to travel between them using magic, but we've started to figure out how to do it too.  Between planes is a place called the Blind Eternities which is filled with a really concentrated form of aether.  Aether's what's inside that canister, which is why I said you had to be careful with it.  This place is something that a bunch of planeswalkers call "The Arena", since it's a place where a lot of them come to fight."

Lost in Faerieland feels like a fun card for some kind of prison deck to be able to answer planeswalkers. 10/10

What was it like when your spark ignited? I'm a researcher of these things, and every experience I've heard has been quite unique." She pulls a notebook and what appears to be a wooden pen out of some unidentifiable section of her cloak and stares quite intently at the tiny Faerie, though the smile seems genuine.

I'll Take That - This is the kind of card that inspires people to build Gonti "your deck is mine tribal" decks in EDH, and I love it for that. Might be a little undercosted as any spell in the yard for 1B though. 9/10
