"I'm alright, but none of us will be if that keeps up, dude! So, like, I was trying to do my thing like I did when I summoned the other me-s or the pillar but my mind started to wander and I thought of this bastard Je'Ke'Rej who's the dude I have to train to hold off before his paradox son comes and does him in and of course he felt I was thinking about him and he reared his fucking horns and... look, can you just, uh, try to beat them back quickly before the rest of him shows up or something? The horns are growing longer..."
Growing Psyche (‽)(‽) Enchantment Whenever you draw a card other than the first card you draw on each of your turns, put a charge counter on CARDNAME, then creatures you control get +1/+1 until end of turn for each charge counter on CARDNAME.
Whenever you're dealt damage, remove that many counters from CARDNAME.
Growing Psyche: 7/10. It's kinda wordy, very cheap, and VERY powerful. Xander nods, then floats towards the horns. Not sure I'll ever understand him. Getting rid of this thing makes sense, though. If the horns are this big, I'd hate to see the potential of what they're connected to.Xander fires a bolt of light at each of the horns, and upon impact, glowing runes begin to appear on them. Whatever creature this is, it begins feeling immense pain, which is quickly removed upon moving down, but will return if it moves back up. Expel Instant Exile target nonland permanent. You gain life equal to its converted mana cost. (Trying to balance this based on Anguished Unmaking)

"I can do that, I think. If you and Doer ever end up needing a favor, let me know. And thank you for the help and the visit."Bountiful Health Enchantment Whenever another player gains life, you may gain that much life. "Don't worry. After your help in the fight against the sirens this was the least I could do. By the way, my brother said something about training you, so if you want some fighting lessons, talk to him. I don't think you need them, but he told me he offered it to you in the past." Anyways, the sun ins setting. "I should be leaving. Have a good day, meowster Xander."Bountiful Health: Nice? I like it. Simple. 8/10

There is no sign of pain, not a cry, not a shriek, not a whisper at all. But the horns begin to slowly, slowly slide down. "I hope that worked. Oh God." Vern massages their temples and, beginning to disappear, says: "XD, bye, I'm going to pass out somewhere else where no one can see me at all."

Heck u right chefantasia Terraforming Amulet: 9/10. This is really cool, but I dunno why the two abilities have different costs. Giant of the Molten Core: 8/10. I think the wording would be closer to "...exile an artifact card from your graveyard. If a card was exiled this way..." Xander gives a small smile as the bugbears leave. A real opportunity is here. A chance to start from the ground up.
Xander turns to the remaining goblinoid. "I have not had the chance to, no. I'm afraid I've never been great at architecture, so I think I'll leave that to you. I can help clear the area though."Xander walks past Rodomonte, and thrusts his arm forward. From it comes water, which starts small at first, but gradually begins building up. This water, instead of behaving as normal water would, stands still for a moment, then flows uphill, instead of down. But whatever hill there was to go up dissolves. Xander continues summoning this water until it forms a large wave, and after a sizable plot of land has been flattened this way, the water disappears. "Will that work?"Acidic Conjurer Creature - Human Wizard When Acidic Conjurer enters the battlefield, each player chooses a land they control. Return those lands to their owner's hands. 1/2 Acidic Conjurer: I like it! And it's cool in context. 9/10
Rodomonte, amused by Xander's capabilities, claps his hands for a couple of seconds, showing his approval. "Ma certo, ma certo! Yes! Before I start makin big'ol 'oles for foundations and it gets out of hand, wanna go for a walk? We'll do the main roads, you don't have to do anything, m'boys will do the hard work."
The bugbear licked his right thumb, raising it in the air, trying to decypher the wind's direction. He sniffed their surroundings, looked around. "So, north's that way, that's Rodent's Peak...", he said, pointing at a mountain, not too far away, on the horizon. Even from that distance, it was clear that something was going on up there. "We'll go south, ay?", the planeswalker asked. A jewel on his index finger changed color, lighting up his face with red. "Oh, just in time!"Without waiting for an answer, he took the ring off his hand. Stretching it as if was made from an elastic substance, it became as big as he was, but still mantained its shape. Rodomonte threw the object in the air, and it expanded until it was at least fourty feet high and wide. Red light filled the circle, and a creature started passing through it, moving towards the direction pointed by its master: gigantic in nature, it looked like a strange buffalo, with a lot of white fur, a wide face and stubby legs, a flat tail and, on its neck, a weight that reached the ground, making the road's imprint. Behind it, Rodomonte's men followed suit, placing lime and stones behind them to make a smooth surface all across He invited Xander to walk with him towards their road's destination, distancing himself from the beast he had summoned in order to converse without his subordinates' shouting and clamour distracting them. "So, d'ya wanna talk 'bout anything while we're here? I'm curious, what's it like where y'all from? "Tauri Roadworkers Creature - Human Citizen
When Tauri Roadworkers enters the battlefield, search your library for a Plains card, put that card onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle your library. If you control fewer creatures than each opponent, put two 1/1 white Soldier creature tokens named Escort onto the battlefield. 1/3

I like it, it does mechanically what it does in flavor, it just feels a bit underwhelming to me. Also I'm just put off by the token whose name isn't its creature type. Not that it's bad or wrong, necessarily. (I waited just a little bit for this one so that I could get enough Valor to improve my cmc) "Where I'm from?"Xander looked to the ground."In fairness, I haven't actually been there for a few years, but when I left it was... a bit of a mess, honestly. There were a few different rebellions during my time there, but all of them were put down pretty quickly. At the time, I didn't think much about why they were rebelling, but later on I came to understand that the ruling nobles were... controversial at best."
He looks back up now. "But, the past is behind us. Unless you feel particularly inclined to share yours."Suppression of Cathmin Legendary Enchantment - Saga I. While Suppression of Cathmin is on the battlefield, permanents leaving the battlefield do not cause abilities to trigger, and cards in graveyards can't be the targets of spells or abilities. II. Each opponent loses 2 life and you gain that much life. III. Destroy all creatures.

Twyla realized it'd been about a couple days, judging by her internal clock, since she had that weird almost-encounter with the man at the construction site. She had no idea how long it had been on this plane, though ― being a time-jumper was beginning to mess with her head ― but she felt compelled to follow up and find the man, or at least the construction site, again.
She didn't have to search for long.
"What in Hellfire's going on over here?"
Whatever it was, it was on fire.
Streetflood Instant If you spent to cast Streetflood, choose both. Otherwise, choose one ― • Tap all creatures. • Counter target red or black spell. It was a miracle to everyone except the fire elementals.

Milling everyone is definitely interesting, and I also love the hybrid mana you put there. Just as Twyla notices the fire, the man who was in charge of the site before flickers into existence a few feet away, carrying a bugbear. He lays the creature on the ground, before staring at the inferno for a moment, catching his breath. He then looks around him, and notices the dryad. She turns to head into the building. Godspit, this plane is really something.Drench in Bathwater Instant Multikicker Tap target creature or land. It loses all abilities until end of turn. You may cast Drench in Bathwater with an additional target for each time it was kicked. Throwing the baby out with the bathwater was a feature, not a bug.Valiant Rescue: Oh, I love this! Flavor matches mechanics really well. 10. (Edit ........... just remembered WOTC's printed an effect similar to this as the pseudo-mechanic Strive during the Theros block. After having designed this, I really feel like they could've done it with Multikicker. (Damn, if I don't love Multikicker.))

If this kills me, I'm gonna be really mad, Twyla thinks to herself as she breaks into a run to escape the burning manor.
Heroic Feat Instant Choose target creature. If it's attacking alone, it gets +4/+0 until end of turn. If it's blocking alone, it gets +8/+8 until end of turn. Otherwise, it gets +2/+0 until end of turn. The goblins tried their best at casting this spell, but somehow they just ended up with Heroic Feet.Up to You: Interesting. Since the creature doesn't get any stats to help it out, meaning it'll probably die if it's blocking a ton of creatures, I might've costed it at two mana. I like it, though. 10/10.

Heroic Feat: 7.5/10. I think the difference in power of the effects is a bit much. The flavor of the card in the rp situation is good, the flavor text of the card just doesn't work for me, though. As Twyla runs out of the burning ruin, she... sees herself on fire, but doesn't feel it, and it doesn't seem to actually be doing anything to her. ...oh yeah I didn't tell her about the ward... Oh well. It's not like anything bad will happen because of it. Most that'll happen is she freaks out.

Warding Spirit Creature - Spirit , Sacrifice ~: Counter target spell that targets you or a permanent you control. 1/1 (Sacrificing Warding Spirit to protect Twyla from the fire) (Well, compare the second effect with Righteousness. Granted, it is a bit ugly as is. Warding Spirit: It's cute and the effect is neat. Something about the costs seems a little funky (and not totally sure about the flavor here) but strong 9.) Twyla returns from the building safely, but she realizes to her disappointment that the building can't be saved. She does, however, save the spirit who saved her life ... Polymorphist's Remedy Instant The next time target creature would leave the battlefield this turn, instead it becomes a Frog with base power and toughness 1/1. (It remains a 1/1 Frog until it leaves the battlefield.)"If it's stupid but it works, it's not stupid." — Ajda Serraf, Combine researcher
... sort of.
Heart still racing, she approaches the man standing outside the building. "Do I get an explanation for all this?"

At the beginning of the next end step, return ~ to the battlefield tapped. 2/1 Cautious Warrior: 9/10 The ability is powerful, but the rarity and p/t balance it out well. The longer I look at it, the more I like it. The thing stands on an ungodly number of thin, steel legs, and turns to look at the woman with what one can only assume is an eye, before speaking in a voice that is kinder than its form would suggest. pacifistwestwoman Confused Wanderer: Not really a response to my card that I can see, but ignoring that, giving you an upside for using phyrexian mana isn't a good idea because paying life already is the upside, but this seems mostly inoffensive. Still, this is basically a 2 mana 1/3 that lets you investigate twice. 5/10. The woman looks at the spindly creature warily. "...You're on a plane called 'the Arena'. What are you?" she asks, not holding her spear threateningly but defensively -- it's evident she doesn't want to hurt it if it doesn't want to hurt her. The machine stands still and buzzes for a minute before responding: "Tests searching for my spark return in error. They returned positively before I left. Perhaps it is broken. Either way, it is good to meet you Hilda." Error Tester
Artifact Error Tester enters the battlefield tapped. , : Counter target spell that wasn't cast from a hand. "Eventually, one should just go back to the drawing board."
I just wanna make a quick note that I just spent way too much time reading about the lore of how Karn's spark works and what Memnarch was doing on Mirrodin to make sure that my theory for how Dieule's spark works would make some amount of sense within the lore, so that I could have it bring up errors and not even explain how it works.

pacifistwestwoman Error Tester: Cool, should probably be ? Not sure on wording but I get it. 8/10. Such... manners, from moving metal were surprising. A little bit of confusion appeared on Hilda's face before it turned into a smirk. "...Good to meet you too." she says, extending her hand forward cautiously, intending a handshake. "So you said you were, uh, created to travel to other planes. Can I ask why?" she says, stabbing her speartip into the ground so it stood upright next to her.Dangerous Question Instant Exile the top card of your library. ~ deals damage to target player or planeswalker equal to that cards converted mana cost. "If I told you the answer, I'd have to kill you."
Honestly, sparks are kinda free real estate because no one knows anything about them

Honestly, sparks are kinda free real estate because no one knows anything about them Dangerous Question: 9/10. I like it, it reminds me of the Chandra from War of the Spark. Something about the cost feels not quite right though. Can she? Surely the uncompleated of other worlds would harbor the same hatred as those of Mirrodin. Would she even know of us? Would it matter? What to tell, for I must give some answer. Her guard is down, I could simply attack. No, a real planeswalker would surely best me in combat. I must give an answer that satisfies, without revealing too much. Maybe the truth would just be simpler... Dieule brought one of its legs forwards to meet the extended hand. Not having any proper arms makes these things difficult. A number of whirring thoughts ran through the machine before it gave its answer to the "dangerous question".
"I am here... to multiply."
Bloodborne Ichor
Artifact Whenever another source causes you to lose life, you may pay 2 life. If you do, put two poison counters on target opponent. It was not the journey to find the answer that killed her, but the answer itself.

pacifistwestwoman Bloodborne Ichor: 1 mana and 4 life, this would take a minimum 15 life to kill someone if on the field (minimum of 1 to trigger, then pay 2, 3 x 5 triggers needed for 10 counters), which could easily be adapted to some sort of combo I think, as it only costs 19 life. Technically disrupted by any life loss, but still really dangerous to ever see the light of day. I might put a black mana cost on the trigger it and probably just make it cost or . Could also be "another source you don't control" to make it more plausible as is? Also certainly + material. 5/10. After posting this score, in reality, it's probably fine in a lot of ways but still dangerous. 6.5/10. "...to multiply."Hilda's eyes widened and she stood defensively again, hand on her spear. "...To multiply, huh?" she said, a quiet fuzz in her mind. Maybe she should pick up drinking, like Skylar had suggested. Her eyes narrowed. "That sounds awful menacing, friend. Would hate for you to do anything rash." she said, a warning in her voice.Implied Threat Sorcery Any player may have ~ deal 5 damage to them or sacrifice a creature. If no one does, target player draws 3 cards. "I won't have you interrupting me again. Understood?"

If no one does, target player draws 3 cards. "I won't have you interrupting me again. Understood?" Implied Threat: 4/10. While it does offer the sacrifice option, this card is just Risk Factor but cheaper, and more powerful, and at uncommon. The machine is unmoved, and its whirring quiets down. It speaks again, but its voice seems... different. Not as kind as it was before. "Anything rash? The phyrexian proliferation is hardly an expedient process with the amount of oil I have with me. It will be slow. That said, a trip through the Blind Eternities has left a few dents in this tin can. I am in poor condition to survive a fight with a planeswalker. Do with that information what you will."
Its positioning changes to one that is more defensive, but also ready to run.Ichor Carrier Creature - Horror Infect When Ichor Carrier dies, it deals 1 damage to any target. 1/1 "Spread the oil, that we might see a third Phyrexia."(Sacrificing Ichor Carrier as Implied Threat's effect)

pacifistwestwomanIchor Carrier: Again, potentially easily abusable as a free infect creature that you can sacrifice a lot to shoot poison counters at. Still, probably fine. 7/10. Hilda's eyes narrowed at it. She slowly started to back away for now until more information could be obtained, and that buzzing was only getting louder and louder in her mind, until she was gone.

@pacificwestwoman At the first rumor of a machine having arrived on The Arena, Lettie drops everything, grabs a prepared belt of corrosive vials, and moves to intercept her target, only to be disappointed. "You're not the machine I was looking for. What are you supposed to be?" Though disappointed, she seems no less ready to fight than before.Contract Jumper Creature — Human Assassin At the beginning of your upkeep, if a creature entered the battlefield under an opponent's control last turn, Contract Jumper gets +2/+0 and gains menace until end of turn. 2/3
