Xander's blades hit thin air. For some reason, Vern is a little bit to the left of the point where Xander expected them to be, yet doesn't seem to have actually moved at all. Strange. Vern just sort of goes to weakly slap Xander's face, without actually putting any strength into it.

"Slapfights are what I do best, yo. I could try something else, though. Maybe... this?" Vern snaps their fingers and creates a pair of scaled gauntlets on their hands. "Better." With one, Vern goes to slap Xander... "Whoops, habits." But it was a feint. Xander feels a force physically dragging him at high speeds towards Vern's other fist, with which Vern is trying to punch Xander in the gut.

Xander watches the rifle intently, and he appears... different, for a moment. His expression and clothes are the same, but something is off. As the bullet strikes him, he turns into a cloud, and dissipates. As the cloud is dissipating, however, another Xander walks towards the old one from the side. "Impressive. But how long does that thing take to reload?" Xander draws his blades, and slowly advances towards Vern, but as he does, Vern sees Xander split into two, then four, then eight. "Oh, hey, seems your magic isn't all that different," says a different Vern, who just sort of showed up with an arm around one of the Xanders' necks and the other holding a gun to their head. "I do this a lot," says another. "Which is part of why the slapping thing is a thing. There's a lot of other reasons but I have to talk fast because you look older and can probably break out of this hold since I'm not all that strong in my arms so I've got to shoot you. I hope you can do the cloud thing again or something like that but if not I'll just move you out of the way of the bullet. Click."

Technically all the Xanders were supposed to be getting shot, but it doesn't really matter.
"Uh, those weren't illusions, dude, they're like, me, but if I had decided to move over there, but not actual me-s moved over here, more like pictures of those me-s which I took there and then slapped over here... I think? I don't know. Anyway, whatever you just did seems to have worked, so, like, who cares, hahaha. Let me just, uhh..." Vern closes their eyes and a pillar appears in front of them. "I don't know, XD. I'm just trying things out here when it comes to attacking, but nothing seems destructive enough." Vern telekinetically sends the pillar towards Xander in an attempt to hit him.

Three muscular looking creatures following what seems to be their leader are approaching Xander, slowly and calmly strolling towards him. Armed with crude battle-axes, swords, maces and spears, they stop when suddenly the bugbear raises his right hand. "Couldn't ya tell me before he saw or heard us? I mean, shit, I got no nickname for this gerbillo-looking-ass. Oh, nevermind, found it, sounds nice."The beast-like humanoid then takes some steps towards the sorcerer smile on his crooked face. Disarming Light
Instant Creatures your opponents' control get -2/-0 until end of turn. "Sometimes a kind smile is all it takes for an enemy to become a friend." The leader of the four humanoids, the closest to Xander, blinked two or three times before apparently assimilating what the other planeswalker had just said, as if it was somehow complicated or strange. Then, he spoke. "Ah! We ain't goblins, goblin-OIDS! Look, dude, we got some fur, we're tall as a tree, we're tough as a bear, we're bugbears! We don't like when you mix us up, this a warning for when you encounter fellas that ain't as friendly as me, got it?"
His minions nodded and grunted a bit. They signaled something to eachother with their hands, and they scattered, looking around Xander's domain, curiousity in their small black eyes. "Anyways, I'll gloss over that, 'tis no biggie, y'know, I get it, you haven't seen a lot of us. I'm'a, uhhh, I know it sound bonkers and that I don't look the part, but I'm the King of many places. My home world's called Underra, ay. Issa nice kingdom, but, y'know, goblinoids and whatev's, humans and things, reproduce at high rates. I figured I'd give my buddies sum other places, while doing what I love."
The creature grinned, as if thinking about something fun to do. He shook his head, talking some more. "Look, I can see you's a smart kid, ay? I'd like to make a proposition, but first I need to understand what you're capable of. So, wad'ya say, wanna show me? I got a man that fears nothing. Emilio, get ya ass over here!"
Rodomonte stopped, at the end of the sentence, snapping his fingers towards one of his goons. The bugbear got closer, quickly, standing to the boss' right. An amulet appeared on his neck after a snap of red light. They both showed off a crooked smile. Disarming Light: The effect as is seems to be only on blue cards. Even if you could fit it in white, it's overcosted, and I don't think it should be an uncommon. 6/10 Amulet of Undying Artifact - Equipped If the equipped creature would be destroyed or exiled, you may sacrifice Amulet of Undying and pay instead. chefantasia Amulet of Undying: I wanna say that Undying isn't in white, but after looking at it, Undying doesn't have that many cards, and it is in the other four colors, so why not. 8/10 Doing what you love...? Well now I'm suspicious. "Show you what I can do, eh? Alright. I suppose I'll start with something simple."
Xander extends his hand towards the bugbear wearing the amulet, and a black cloud begins to flow out of his hand. This cloud grows, and surrounds the goblinoid, clinging to it, draining it painfully, until the amulet shines brightly. Once it does, the cloud retreats into Xander's sleeve. "Well alright, had he not been wearing the amulet, he would be dead. But maybe you were asking for something flashier?"
Xander finishes that question sounding rather eager. Reap the Weak Instant Choose One: ::Destroy target creature with no +1/+1 counters on it. ::Destroy target equipped creature.

The two creature carefully studied the mist with their eyes, exchanging glances at each other. Even while under the effects of the mist, the warrior looked unfazed, as if used to similar if not worse torture. "Y'up to the challenge, ay?", replied Rodomonte to the sorcerer's words, laughing a bit. "Well, ya don't seem half bad. Sure, show me some more. But in the meanwhile, I'll give ya my idea. Y'know, roads keep a world connected. Crossroads are the center of trade'n shit, yeah, and this place, or 'round here at least, seems like a nice place to settle and build a city of some sort, a marketplace. Y'all got some good prey around here too. So, I thought we could fix ya up with a nice mansion, a wizard's tower, and ya could be in the middle of the whole thing, y'know, controlling stuff, looking out for ya old pal over here. I assure you, many of my men are great at the arcane arts aswell, and I'm renowned for my conjuring abilities, so you'd have buddies to talk to when you need help with ya'lls work."
As if he wanted to demonstrate what he had just claimed, he raised his hand to his face, and snapped his fingers. A gigantic figure covered the sun, in a matter of seconds. Red eyes of anger, molten rock for skin and a sword of burning hot metal, the summoned creature raised his weapon, in an attempt to assault the group. Rodomonte put his hand forward, trying to tell Xander to stop before doing anything: with a jump, the earth cracked under his feet, and he was in mid air almost instantly. His hand reached the blade, and, with two fingers, he managed to stop it.
"Ay, he's a big feller, amirite? Try bringing him down, I'm sure you can do it.", shouted Rodomonte. It looked like something had been infused in the giant: white spots of bright light passed through its "veins", and it shouted in anger. Rodomonte fell back to the ground once again and he stood there, waiting for Xander's next move. Reap the Weak: I don't know, maybe the restcrictions are not that strict. If you aren't up against someone with a deck that utilizes +1/+1 counters it's basically just Murder for less. 7.5/10
Giant of the Molten Core Creature - Giant Elemental When Giant of the Molten Core enters the battlefield, exile an artifact card from your graveyard if able. If you do, Giant of the Molten Core gets +1/+1 and gains haste until end of turn. Giant of the Molten Core attacks each combat if able. Xander turns to Rodomonte. "I like your plan, and I would be happy to help you create the infrastructure to unify this place."
Succumb to Temptation
Enchantment - Aura Enchant Creature You control enchanted creature. Enchanted creature is blue in addition to its other colors. : Enchanted creature gets +1/-1 until end of turn. Succumb to Temptation: I think that the costing makes it strange to run in a deck. I don't know, the ability wouldn't get activated that often, and it doesn't seem that strong anyways. I think people would just run this in a mono like a Mind Control that costs 1 less. 7.5/10
Rodomonte seems rather pleased, listening to the other planeswalker's answer. He laughed when he saw his creature sedated by the sorcerer. "Ha! I've never had such a strong wizard be so cooperative'n reasonable. Maybe iss because we look all mean 'n stuff, y'know? But's a nice change o' pace. Pantegane, get back to Rodent's peak, tell those fucko's that Giorgio wanted to move somewhere else to get ready, I'll summon 'em. We'll be buildin' sumthing, am I rite?", he announced, ordering his minions to go back to their base of operation and speaking directly with Xander in his last sentence. "Y'all never built a city? I like arch... archi... whatev's, that. I like that, I've liked it ever since I was a kid, yeah."The creature snapped his fingers once again. An amulet appeared in his other hand. "This'll come in handy."He started looking around, and soon after he found a natural depression in the ground. Pointing his creation at the ground, he started removing soil: it looked like the pendant was absorbing dirt through a shining red light. Terraforming Amulet Artifact , , Exile a land you control: Create a 0/5 white Wall creature token with defender. , , Exile a Wall you control: Search your library for a land card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Heck u right chefantasiaTerraforming Amulet: 9/10. This is really cool, but I dunno why the two abilities have different costs. Giant of the Molten Core: 8/10. I think the wording would be closer to "...exile an artifact card from your graveyard. If a card was exiled this way..." Xander gives a small smile as the bugbears leave. A real opportunity is here. A chance to start from the ground up.
Xander turns to the remaining goblinoid. "I have not had the chance to, no. I'm afraid I've never been great at architecture, so I think I'll leave that to you. I can help clear the area though."Xander walks past Rodomonte, and thrusts his arm forward. From it comes water, which starts small at first, but gradually begins building up. This water, instead of behaving as normal water would, stands still for a moment, then flows uphill, instead of down. But whatever hill there was to go up dissolves. Xander continues summoning this water until it forms a large wave, and after a sizable plot of land has been flattened this way, the water disappears. "Will that work?"Acidic Conjurer Creature - Human Wizard When Acidic Conjurer enters the battlefield, each player chooses a land they control. Return those lands to their owner's hands. 1/2

Neottolemo Xander draws his blades, and flies over to Vern, his eyes fixated on the horns. "It sounds like that wasn't on purpose. Are you alright?"Stand Strong Instant Counter target spell that targets a permanent unless its controller pays , where X is the highest converted mana cost among permanents targeted by that spell. Beyondpulse: 10/10. The 6/6 with flying and trample is suspicious, but it works really well with the 4 mana rare removal. Plus I love it when you get to have your opponent make choices like that. Stand Strong: At first I thought this was too weak but then I noticed it could counter stuff targeting stuff you don't control so I guess it's fine. 9/10
"I'm alright, but none of us will be if that keeps up, dude! So, like, I was trying to do my thing like I did when I summoned the other me-s or the pillar but my mind started to wander and I thought of this bastard Je'Ke'Rej who's the dude I have to train to hold off before his paradox son comes and does him in and of course he felt I was thinking about him and he reared his fucking horns and... look, can you just, uh, try to beat them back quickly before the rest of him shows up or something? The horns are growing longer..."
Growing Psyche (‽)(‽) Enchantment Whenever you draw a card other than the first card you draw on each of your turns, put a charge counter on CARDNAME, then creatures you control get +1/+1 until end of turn for each charge counter on CARDNAME.
Whenever you're dealt damage, remove that many counters from CARDNAME.
