As Lei Koen works on her replica of the night sky, the air grows chillier. A blonde woman in a blue dress walks up to the High Builder. "Greetings, traveler. What brings you to our lovely plane?"Inspector's Greeting   Instant  You gain 4 life and draw two cards. Each other player gains 2 life and draws a card. "Hello there. You seem quite... interesting."Inspector's Greeting: Huh. Good idea but, drawback nonetheless, this feels like it'd be safer as a sorcery imo. 8/10

Inspector's Addition: Not sure I like the nontarget mode being that much more powerful but I can deal with it. That said, seems like this card wouldn't break anything, so 8/10

Knife Proficiency  Enchantment When CARDNAME enters the battlefield, it deals 2 damage to any target. At the beginning of combat on your turn, target creature you control gets +2/+0 until end of turn if its equipped.

If I tried to build on the other side of this plane now, or on a different plane, it would be difficult to say whether I succeeded, yes?"

High Standing: Lifelink might be excessive here. 8/10

The pages are about various knives used by muggers and thieves that lived in a tower. Fascinating...?The Exordium Thieves  Enchantment - Saga I: Target player discards two cards. II: Exile all cards from target opponent's graveyard. III: Until end of turn, you may play up to two cards exiled with CARDNAME, and you may spend mana as though it was mana of any color to cast them. Card: Interesting Merfolk/artifact/enchantment piece. Definitely has a unique feel to it. 9/10.

They wouldn't make good gifts, I fear." Hyle begins to think about where she should put the book, but can't come to a conclusion. In the end, she attempts to close it telekinetically and depositate it in a nearby waterside dry cave for the time being.

A subtle yet irresistible pulse of magic rippled through the air as Marston made his presence known. "What an interesting specimen," he remarked, casting his eyes upon Hyle. "I look forward to seeing what makes you tick."Frozen Moment Instant Choose a permanent type. Tap all permanents of that type that you dont' control. "Ha ha, very funny," chuckles Hyle nervously. Then she notices how everything is moving wrong around her, and that the air feels oddly viscous when she tries to move. She charges her body with light that will release automatically if she is harmed, causing an explosion. She is shining completely. "Good day to you. I am Hyle Seritani. That name makes me feel more comfortable than 'specimen'," she says, trying to carry a conversational tone, but her voice cracks slightly at one moment, though she glosses over it and finishes the sentence without pausing. She would say that she's glad to be interesting to him, but she likes to think she doesn't like to lie, though she is in fact dishonest more often than she realises. Point is, the man seems weird and dangerous and she can smell an abundance of noxious mana on him, so she's unhappy about this visit.

Occasionally letting up, occasionally halting completely. If Hyle was unprepared, this would start to induce headaches and nausea. Hyle tries to close the book telepathically, but the book's pages begin to flip violently (being closed telepathically hurts!). It ejects a paper knife at Hyle (that gives paper cuts), resists being closed, and planeswalks away, leaving a puddle of ink where it once was. To an observer, it would look as though it had just disappeared.  Squire of Lagan Tantid: I like this and it seems very playable in Merfolk tribal EDH. I have a feeling it might be in territory considering Glorious Anthem but it might work at this rarity as well. 8.5/10

Hyle basically becomes a sunbeam. She shoots towards the sky, above the clouds. There, she gathers the clouds into wings, a breathing device of sorts, and a cover all at once. She remains at that altitude as long as she can and hopes Marston will desist.

Noisy Hourglass: At first I thought this was repeatable proliferate, but repeatable targeted proliferate seems much reasonable. I love this card. 10/10 |

As Hyle disengaged and rose up, Marston quickly took inventory. The best way to deal with her from here would be to seed a storm in the clouds around her, but that would take time he was unwilling to spend. And he wasn't patient enough to wait around for her to descend. Maybe it was best to just revisit her later, he'd already gotten preliminary diagnostic information. He pondered it for a moment, then turned and walked away.
