horizons : That land is insane, yet I still like it. Though I think this is too powerful that WotC would ever print it. By the way to make mana symbols, you have to put them between double colons and to make a card link (to scryfall) you can use [card]B.F.M. (Big Furry Monster)[/card]. For more deatails look here.
Sparkographer Creature - Human Wiazard : Return target land card from your graveyard to your hand. Sparkographer deals 1 damage to any target. 1/1
Note: You can only do the damage if you also have a land in your graveyard to target.
Up: I really like this. We haven’t really seen this repeatable land recursion before, and I like the idea. This doesn’t look broken, but fetchlands and cycling lands exist, so it’s hard to tell.
Gravebuster Sledge Artifact — Equipment When Gravebuster Sledge enters the battlefield, return target creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield, then attach ~ to that creature. Exile that creature at the beginning of the next end step. Equipped creature gets +2/+2 and has haste and lifelink. Equip
Up: I don't care for triggered abilities on sorceries. Maybe just make it more like storm i.e. for each land you played this turn. Otherwise solid mix. Except I think it should ramp because rampant growth is the quintessential ramp card.
Essence Drain 1U Instant :Uncommon: Counter target creature spell. Put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control that shares a color with that spell.
Next card [card]Fleetwheel Cruiser[/card] + [card]Ancient Hellkite[/card]
Up: I like the idea, but it seems very strong, especially since you can counter your own creature to boost your board. At least keep the
Keltha, Ancient Racer Legendary Creature — Dragon Pilot Flying Vehicles you control are Dragon artifact creatures. Whenever a Dragon you control attacks, you may pay . If you do, Keltha deals 1 damage to target creature defending player controls. 6/6
Up: Pretty straight forward uddle. I think it can easily go out of hand if you can activate it multiple times.
Kestia, Leech of Nyx Legendary Enchantment Creature - Vampire Bestow Enchanted creature gets +4/+4. Whenever a creature dies, if an enchanted creature or enchantment creature you control dealt damage to it thsi turn, return that creature to the battlefield under your control. It becomes a Vampire cnchantment creature in addition to its other types. 4/4
Up: It's unfortunate that making eternalize really matter gives you such a narrow window of abilities to work with, but it just feels tacked onto a card that already makes pretty good sense. Being able to trigger itself after being eternalized is good value, though. Seems balanced to me at rare with enough points of mechanical interaction to build around.
Culling Elves Creature — Elf Warrior At the beginning of your upkeep, ~ fights target black creature with the least power or tied for the least power among creatures on the battlefield. When ~ dies, draw a card. 2/2
Up: It looks good on paper, but I actually don’t want to play against black with this. 2/2 is pretty small to be fighting every turn. Maybe keep the pro black? I do like that you get a card for your troubles.
Forgive the Beatles reference Yellow Submarine Legendary Artifact — Vehicle As long as ~ is a creature, damage that would be dealt to you or another permanent you control is dealt to ~ instead. Crew 2 We all live here sometimes. 2/6
Up: Nice mix, though the may clause makes me raise an eyebrow. You'd think if there was a part you wouldn't mind whiffing was the recursion in case you needed a combat trick while you had an empty yard.
Vengeful Counter Instant Counter target noncreature spell. That player may pay 3 life. If they don't, return target instant or sorcery card from your graveyard to your hand.
Up: Cool card, it's well balanced and the effects are fun. It's like "Nice try with that Wrath of God, now let me slap you in the face or I'll release my Archaeomancer from its cage." hahaha. One thing though: since the spell targets a noncreature spell and not a player, I think the wording "That spell's controller may pay 3 life" would have been more appropriate than "That player may pay 3 life".
Creature - Zombie
Whenever another creature with power 3 or greater you control dies, you may return target black creature card from your graveyard to your hand.
"In life he was a commander; now, even if he's dead, he keeps trying to find new additions for his ranks. How convenient." - Liliana Vess
Up: Very fine card. Works hilariously well with Eternalize.
World's laziest muddle, go!
Barbtooth Titan - Artifact Creature - Wurm When Barbtooth Titan enters the battlefield or leaves the battlefield, choose a land of each basic land type, then destroy those lands. In its lair lie the bones of the world. 6/4
Up: A little weird but I can dig it. Pretty strong with fetchlands and spells that require life loss.
Sliver Skin Cloak Artifact - Equipment
Equipped creature is a sliver in addition to its other types and has 'Sliver creatures you control have lifelink and "Whenever a this creature becomes the target of a spell an opponent controls, draw a card."
Up: Always a fan of grafting non-sliver creatures into linear sliver strategies. However, I feel the design would've been a bit cleaner with the buff abilities of only one card, as they aren't very thematically or mechanically connected. 8/10
Polluted Wastes Land Infectious Wastes enters the battlefield with four charge counters. , Remove a charge counter from Infectious Wastes: Add . , , Remove a charge counter from Infectious Wastes: Each opponent loses 2 life.
Up: I really like the card, it looks like it could be a real card.
Acolyte's Earthquake Multikicker - For each time Acolyte's Earthquake was kicked you may have target creature gain protection from red until end of turn Acolyte's Earthquake deals X damage to creature without flying and each player
Up: Clever way to use the combination, giving it a kicker to protect your dudes from the damage. Solid design, I think.
Troll of the North Winds Creature - Elemental Troll Flying Morph When CARDNAME is turned face up, each opponent sacrifices a tapped creature. For each creature sacrificed this way, you may draw a card. 6/6
Up: I liked way you combined them, i would 100% use that card in my morph deck Beetle of Penance Creature - Insect Cleric Swampwalk Whenever Beetle of Penance is dealt damage, you may destroy target nonland permanent or destroy target swamp 2/1
Up: Nice muddle. Really captures the essence of both cards. Since it only creates 0/2s, it might even be a bit cheaper.
Akroan Fetcher Creature - Hound , : Untap target attacking creature and remove it from combat. Gain control of that creature until end of turn. Activate this ability only during combat before blockers are declared. 2/2
Up: Interesting uncommon with downside, pretty balanced, although it doesn't really have a connection to Overwhelming Instinct besides mentioning three or more creatures - personally, I think it should reward going wide instead of punishing it.
Ursula, Oracle of Wood Legendary Creature - Human Cleric When ~ enters the battlefield, create Ursa, Warrior of Wood, a legendary 2/2 green Bear creature token with "Clerics you control get +1/+1 and have ', : This creature fights another target creature.'" Bears you control get +1/+1 and have ", : Put a +1/+1 counter on target creature." 2/2
This card was so much fun to make, even if it turned out really complicated.
