Consult the Guidewall Sorcery Distribute X +1/+1 counters among any number of creatures you control, where X is the number of colors among cards in your graveyard. "May the wisdom of our ancestors grant us strength."The art would depict cavemen inspecting cave paintings.

Judging time! Flo00 {Spoiler}Interesting design. Land destruction at a cost, but that cost is also a benefit for you. So in the end, you and your opponent are both down five lands, but you have an 8/8 beat stick. I'm not sure if it's quite worth it, but I like that it makes me ponder.
Idea {Spoiler}A cool design, but it should be mono blue or blue/red, not blue/black. Creature stealing is both blue and red, and stun counters are blue and white. I don't see the black in this. I do love the old frame and the primordial flavor, though! Daij_Djan {Spoiler}I like this a lot. Great flavor, The abilities are simple, but thematic. And split card are always a personnal favourite. Big props on this one. pernicious {Spoiler}This design is intriguing, but too complex and busy to be a common.Especially since in draft, where you often can't do five colors efficiently, it'S pretty weak. And I feel the abilities don't synergize together despite the five colour theme ameisenmeister{Spoiler}That's one hell of a finisher! I like this very much, it's flavorful and makes my inner Timmy very happy. However, I think it is way too powerful for uncommon. Sure, it's five mana at ssorcery speed, but in a dedicated 5-color deck, this is +10/+10, divided between 1 to 5 creatures, and trample to 1 to 5 creature. It should be enough to close a game most times. melono{Spoiler}As a huge Vorthos and Melvin, the way every part of this card, flavor and mechanics, work to make a cohesive whole is chef's kiss. Great work! vizionarius{Spoiler}Domination is great and I love it. But Survival just has me scratching my head. Usually, the first part of an Aftermath card sets up the second, but I don'T feel the connection between the two is quite clear here. Sure, you saved one creature, but you'll still need a few more for Domination to be worthile. Also, why does it put the indestructible counter only at the beginning of you next upkeep? Feels like this is gonna leads to a lot of misplay. moweda{Spoiler}I like this. My only quibble is that I wish it was Abzan, because it is a great design for Abzan. Still, very good card. twintania{Spoiler}I'm not sure I get how this is prehistoric? Looks more post-apocalyptic to me? Unlles you're going for a Ancient Astronauts kind of deal, like that Emmerich flick (10 000 BC).
That said, I do think this capture the feeling of a dangerous nuclear plan pretty well. And I'm always a fan of different counter type. {WINNER!}The winner is melono, with @daijdan as a close second. Thanks for participating everyone!

Thanks for the win! Coming up: LIMIT #79: Get a life. No, really: your card must involve lifegain. (Thanks, jacqui-pup!) LIMIT #23: Your card's color identity contains black. New limit: LIMIT #191: Over the river and through the woods, to grandmother's house we go~. Your card has a flavor derrived from "long distance journeys." (Thanks melono!) EDIT: Idea ZephyrPhantomLook, just, just make something involving long distance travelling. I changed it already. melono - I really like it though. Can I keep it as that? - ZephyrPhantom

ZephyrPhantom - keep it how you want, but it does have to be clear that people are supposed to theme their card around travelling far. Is that not clear? Or is only the marathon to horizon unclear?

Ooooh that's what you mean. Ok, I thought "Long Distance Journeys" was the name of something, that's why I was confused.

I think from "long distance journeys" was the confusion, due to the quotes making it seem like it's the name of a show or novel or something.

I'll take out the quotes then in the OP.

@ collex : Glad you liked my card, big thanks for runner-up
And for the next challenge - how about..
Card is a bit wordy at common for my tastes, but I think it's clear streamlined enough to work at that rarity nethertheless.
And for reference:

Usually the part with "whenre X is ..." is in the same sentence the X is in. It's maily separated if X is a cost. The lifegain could be "You gain 1 life for each 1 damage dealt this way." or "You gain X life." About your signature: I'm not the expert here, but I think it should be "I will be glad to ..." or "I am glad to ..."/"I'm glad to ..." And I think "advise" is the verb and "advice" the noun.

I have been playing with a batching term similar to historic. Aether Corruption Enchantment When ~ enters the battlefield, search your library for a land card, put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle. Whenever a distant land becomes untapped, each opponent loses one life and you gain one life. (Lands that always enter the battlefield tapped are distant.)

Bridge to Paradise Enchantment ~ enters the battlefield with seven piety counters on it. Whenever you attack or target an opponent or a permanent an opponent controls, remove a piety counter from ~. If your life total would be reduced to 0 or less, instead exile ~ and gain life equal to the number of piety counters on ~ before reducing your life total. At the beginning of your next upkeep, you win the game.

Judging the challenges! Everyone made a really nice card, let me just say that. But only one may stand. Idea - Overbook Fare: A nice pillow fort piece. Especially strong for opposing going-wide strategies. If the opponent has only 1 power creatures they’re boned, though that is very rare. One thing I’m not entirely sure about, is the additional paying of life allowing for that wording of gaining life. But it’s obvious to me what it’s supposed to do, so it’s fine. ZephyrPhantom - Pharios’ Final Sprint: Damn, that’s a funny card. And indeed fitting for the myth of the first marathon. Totally great in gifting strategies (though it is outside of Zedruu’s colors.) Daij_Djan - Prepare for the Odyssey: A quite standard sac something draw two as black often has at common. It’s probably not too complex for common, though the tokens might have to be explained if it’s supposed to be a common. The most fun part about this card is of course sacrificing a single artifact creature, which gives so much value with this (which does slightly add to its complexity to use though). Though without the perfect sac target, it is still more than good enough to see some play, at minimum in draft. Flo00 - Luxury Space Cruiser: A cruise for celebrities who want to hang back and let this big boy attack in their stead. I don’t really feel the black in the flavour except maybe for the space-theme. Mechanically, yes, those are all black keywords. Legendary crew is a nice alternative to something like legendary equip. Especially in commander, of course. I would’ve liked to see a flavour text line about carrying legendaries though. And/or maybe calling it a Luxury STAR Cruiser instead, as it travels to stars, for those legendary stars. twintania - Round-the-world Vampiric Tour: Feels like a silly card due to the name and picture, but its effect can actually be quite solid. Its cost might be too high, but that would be something to find out in gameplay tests. You need many lands to really get this up to speed after all, so it being a smaller amount of mana wouldn’t make it OP immediately. moweda - Aether Corruption: Searching for any land card and putting it on the battlefield is very powerful. Just like how Crop Rotation is pretty darn powerful. This card sticks around, doesn’t sac a land, can be blinked, and has an additional effect to boot. It does cost more, but I don’t know if that’s enough. Especially because the additional effect is a drain-and-gain every single turn. Also seeing how this can stack, just making a deck around that effect wouldn’t be the strangest… Which, might be a good thing? It’s an odd and powerful one, but that’s not a bad thing per se. vizionarius - Bridge to Paradise: This… is too easy of a win condition to be on a 4-mana card. There are after all so many ways to lose life without relying on your opponent, or targeting/attacking, that as soon as this hits, you should immediately lose all your life, and then win the next upkeep. And as it’s an instead to loss of life, which can be lost as a cost, it’s not really counterable. Some examples for cards that make this busted by the way are, to only name some low-mana ones: Blood Celebrant, Adanto Vanguard, Hibernation Sliver, Necropotence, and the list goes on and on… The winner is... {Spoiler} ZephyrPhantom with their marathon card! Really nice flavor, and would make for a fun gifting piece.

Thanks for the win, and glad you enjoyed the card. LIMIT #72: A hero! A martyr! A statue to raise! Your card sacrifices itself. (Thanks, Herzi!)LIMIT #140: The Tour de France - your card has a cycling ability or cares about cycling! (Thanks, thaneofglamis!)LIMIT #192: Hacking time and space! Your card references something related to digital hacking. (E.g. Magical Hack, Magical Hacker) (Thanks, ZephyrPhantom!)
