vizionarius - Bridge to Paradise: This… is too easy of a win condition to be on a 4-mana card. There are after all so many ways to lose life without relying on your opponent, or targeting/attacking, that as soon as this hits, you should immediately lose all your life, and then win the next upkeep. And as it’s an instead to loss of life, which can be lost as a cost, it’s not really counterable. Some examples for cards that make this busted by the way are, to only name some low-mana ones: Blood Celebrant, Adanto Vanguard, Hibernation Sliver, Necropotence, and the list goes on and on… Ah! Should have had "If combat damage would reduce your life total to 0 or less..." Thanks for pointing this out.

Hacking the Cycle Enchantment Whenever you discard a card, the next time you would draw a card, scry 1 and then draw a card instead. ( Multiple discards mean multiple times of scrying 1 before drawing a card.) Sacrifice ~: Draw a card.

melono thanks for the feedback. I did also make a white version of it (with vigilance instead of menace). Of course I was resticted by the limit. I also think that spending a lot of money for a sightseeing tour with explicit service is more black than white. Entry: Virus Hoax Creature - Illusion Morph When Virus Hoax is turned face up, sacrifice it. Cycling When you cycle or sacrifice Virus Hoax, shuffle it into your library, and target player puts a random card from their hand on the bottom of their library, then draws a card. 0/1 You can target a player without cards in their hand and they will just draw a card.

Idea - I feel like this is a card that actually got a bit weaker in terms of appeal because it had to meet the limits - the idea of stealing just the abilities of an artifact is pretty interesting by itself, and with either the cycling or sacrifice ability alone it would make for a pretty elegant design. Having both is pretty flavorful and captures the idea of a virus well from a Vorthos perspective, but my inner Melvin is going "This feels like a little excessive..." (and keeps trying to cover up some of the bottom card with my hand). I feel like this card as-is would sit better with me in a set that has had multiple virus-type designs so that I would get used to the idea of a combined cycling and sacrifice token maker, but practically speaking I think this card would flow a lot better if you cut either the sacrifice ability or the cycling abilities from it. ameisenmeister - A strong flexible tutor with an additional mode - part of me is amused this technically could fetch Vial in Merfolk, even if it'd be far too late by the time it could. Feels like a good design and the phyrexian flavor is captured well, even if it's not as explicitly hacky as its competition. melono - Really neat cycling tribal design that does a good balance of hacking flavor and meeting the required mechanics. My only concern is what happens if you're hit with a ton of discards in one turn and then have to remember how many draw replacements you're going to do. I'd suggest limiting it to end of turn, or having some kind of counter to track it. vizionarius - Insanity is a neat mechanic! I hope WoTC does something like this in the future. I think you repurpose it very well for the netrunner flavor and I think this does a good job of having the cycling effect be a smaller version of the main effect. Flo00 - Very odd Future Sight-like design that also works as a set's obligatory 2 mana draw spell at common. I'm not entirely sure how to evaluate but it seems good as a 'fakeout Morph' and the costing for all modes seems reasonable. I think you introduce the idea of Morphs being viruses well and I could see WoTC trying this in a future set. moweda - Pretty safe and straightforward entry. Works nicely, gets things done. Stiff competition this round though. pernicious - Bold move introducing a new Shadow-like evasion but the card puts itself together pretty nicely and is costed similarly to Extract. I think it's an interesting card in that it can be very situational but will absolutely ruin combo decks if it gets to use its exiling effect. Being an 0/1 creature is probably its saving grace here as that puts it on the same lane as aggro decks keeping combo decks honest by forcing them to run regular removal. Winner: pernicious

Thank you for the win, ZephyrPhantom.
The next challenge's limits are... LIMIT #139: Adventure time! You card has an adventure! (Thanks Flo00!) LIMIT #3: Your card uses an evergreen keyword. And the new limit: LIMIT #192: Spring has come. Your card is themed around springtime. (Thanks pernicious!)

Stunblebee Creature - Insect Flying Whenever ~ deals combat damage to a creature, tap that creature and put a stun counter on it. ( If a permanent with a stun counter would become untapped, remove one from it instead.) 1/3 ///Gather Honey Sorcery - Adventure Create a food token. ( Then exile this card. You may cast the creature later from exile.)

Elk Herd-Keeper Creature - Elk ~ enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it if you control another creature with a +1/+1 counter on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a +1/+1 counter from ~. When you do, create a 2/2 green Elk creature token. 3/3 ///Search for the Alpha Sorcery - Adventure Target creature you control fights target creature you don’t control. When the creature you control wins the fight, put two +1/+1 counters on it.

Mother Rabbit Creature - Rabbit Vigilance When ~ enters the battlefield, create four 0/1 white Rabbit creature tokens. 2/2 ------ Hibernate Sorcery - Adventure Tap up to two target creatures. Put a stun counter on each. Edited because I forgot the Vigilance keyword. Also I'm changing the adventure from to and added to the cost. Only Blue gets freezing/stun counters as best I can tell but I think white should get it secondarily. And this type of card would not work well in limited with two different colors and not hybrid. So I'm going with white.

Herald of Spring Creature - Elk Hexproof from blue and from black When Herald of Spring enters the battlefield, draw a card. 3/3 ---------------- Veil of Spring Instant - Adventure Spells you control can’t be countered this turn. (Then exile this card. You may cast the creature later from exile.)

Idea - That's a clever design, I like it a lot. I would only change a couple things: I'd make the shuffle clause in Springtime View the typical "Then shuffle", since "Then you may shuffle your library" seems a bit too powerful for me; and I'd make Springtime Allergies prevent combat damage instead of noncombat damage in order to make it a classic Fog effect, since I don't think preventing noncombat damage is a green thing. (was noncombat a mistype?)
melono - Very nice. I'd only either raise Stunblebee's cost to or reduce its toughness down to 2.
vizionarius - Good balance and flavor representation through mechanics. There are only two things I'll nitpick about: The wording on Elk Herd-Keeper should be "At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a +1/+1 counter from ~. If you do, create a 2/2 green Elk creature token." (see Clockwork Hydra); and the card's names don't fully convince me.
emberfire17 - What a pretty card. My nitpicks are only these: In New Bloom it should be "Search your library for a Forest card...", and "then shuffle." instead of "then shuffle your library."
moweda - An interesting (and comfy) design. I like how Hibernate's effect makes the card useful in offense as well. EDIT: I googled about rabbit behavior and apparently they do not hibernate; I didn't know that.
The designs in this round were particularly good, were you inspired by the arrival of spring? The winner is Flo00! With moweda and emberfire17 as runnerups.

(was noncombat a mistype?) I honestly have no idea why I typed in "you may shuffle your library". I'm not sure if it was me being sick or the hurry or whatever the case... but yeah... As for the combat damage instead of noncombat, it felt like appropriately close to fog to me, and I don't think there is a specific "noncombat damage prevention" color (closest would probably be white only because white has generic damage prevention), and the flavor I was going for was more "allergies are disrupting your concentration, so you don't cast stuff / use abilities right".

LIMIT #6: That card's a super freak: Your card has a supertype. (e.g., basic, legendary, snow, or world.) LIMIT #7: Subliminal messaging: Your card has a (noncreature) subtype. (e.g., Aura, Equipment, Trap) LIMIT #193: Winter is coming. Your card is themed around wintertime. (Thanks Flo00!)
I just had to mirror the last one.

So, the winter theme might not be obvious here, but I'm hoping it's a famous enough book to work.

Winter Shrine Legendary Snow Enchantment - Shrine At the beginning of your upkeep, put an ice counter on up to one target nonland permanent. Permanents with ice counters on them don't untap during their controllers' untap steps unless their controller pays for each Shrine you control.
