Boogymanjunior: I didn't even think of commander when I made them, I just thought that they tutor each other. But I think you could still build a nice commander deck with them. Maybe not the best, but still ok. Composting Engine Artifact Whenever a land leaves the battlefield, put a charge counter on Composting Engine. , , Sacrifice Composting Engine: Put X target cards with converted mana cost 0 from graveyards on top of their owner’s libraries in any order, where X is the number of charge counters on Composting Engine. Each of those players draws a card. I'm not sure it's clear that "Each of those players" refers to the players that got a card on their ilbrary.

Call from Memory Enchantment ~ enters the battlefield with 5 charge counters on it. Your team may pay rather than the mana costs of spells with converted mana cost 3 or less. Whenever they do, remove a charge counter from ~. Then, if ~ has no charge counters on it, sacrifice it.

Sparkstarted Construct Artifact Creature - Construct Remove a charge counter from a permanent you control: ~ gets +1/+0 and gains trample until end of turn. Any player may activate this ability. "It just needs a bit of juice to get going." -Merian, High Artificer2/2

Card for a Pillowfort strategy. Opponents have to pay up to before it succumbes to lack of energy maintenance only the Thran had knowledge of. EDIT: Just became aware that the challenge was about THG, not normal Multiplayer, rendering my entry obsolete. Anyway, now you have to judge one less, if that is something good.^^

It might look like a bit much but it's (hopefully) way easier to understand than one might think at first glance.

Closed, judging on the way! EDIT: {Judging} viriss: This is a solid flavorful concept, and it’s executed very well in terms of the mechanics. I like that it only gives you C (as opposed to any color) so that you can’t exploit it too much, and I think the exchange rate of two to one is a good choice. I also like that you can charge stuff for yourself. The flavor text is pretty funny too. Flo00: The CMC 0 matters is a pretty weird theme that only really hits either broken cards or random X-cost artifacts (other than lands.) This kinda feels like you decided to say CMC 0 rather than lands just because of the challenge, which is off to me. Other than that, your card is really solid! lordojutai: I like that both abilities tie into the theme, but the problem is that the ability doesn’t stop happening, and the card should probably exile itself. (Or, if the card means exactly 0, it’s way, way too expensive in both casting and ability cost.) inferno390: The choices of numbers seem pretty weird (maybe if it entered with 3 counters and you can freecast cmc’s 3 or less), and the card seems not very useful once you have enough mana to cast it. melono: This is a great example of a card that expands on the theme of charge counters in sets. A solid draft uncommon that could see Constructed play if there were powerful enough artifacts. Great job! Boogymanjunior: This would make a much better artifact than artifact creature, and I like that there’s a natural cap on the amount of charge counters. However, I think that once it starts getting to 3+, it becomes really overly powerful, and paired with counter-removal effects could be incredibly broken. ameisenmeister: This is a cool card, but I think the problem is that the third ability isn’t related to the first while being unnecessarily complex. You don’t need to have the “chosen value” bit and probably just have it as destroy, and up the cost of the card to compensate. melono is our winner, with viriss as a runner-up.

Thanks for the win!
Next challenges: LIMIT #50 Death Benefits: your card needs a triggered ability when it and/or something else dies. (Thanks, Heads vs Tails!) LIMIT #76 Stop censoring me! Your card's rules text contains the word "can't". (Thanks, fluffyDeathbringer!) LIMIT #118 Drop the bass: Your card is or references the Fish creature type. (Thanks melono!)

Bottom-Feeders Creature - Fish CARDNAME can't block. Whenever another Fish you control dies, put a +1/+1 counter on CARDNAME. They live for nothing more than the hunt. 2/2 This may seem aggressively costed for black, but I think "can't block" is a very large downside on this kind of creature, especially since you're probably giving up blockers to grow this. Compare: Unruly Mob.

Hungry Grizzly Creature — Bear Hungry Grizzly can’t be blocked by more than one creature. Whenever a Fish dies, you gain 2 life. 2/2

Mute like Fish Enchantment When Mute like Fish enters the battlefield, create two 1/1 blue Fish creature tokens. Whenver a Fish dies, your opponents can’t cast spells this turn. If it’s their turn, they may discard a card to ignore this effect for the first sepell they cast this turn. I dind't want ot make it a hard lock with enough Fish and a sac outlet. That's why the strange wording at the end.

Judgement time! {Judging} inferno390 - A fairly simple card that has a strong token generation, with the fish having hexproof. You forgot the power and toughness though. FLAREdirector - A pretty cool card that synergizes well with Ahnod’s Altar and other sacc’ing. Strong that it exiles, and doesn’t just discard. Only really strange thing I find is the power and toughness, as it’s got a strong butt even though it’s “ruthless” viriss - This card is a big nono, because it generates a token when its own token dies. Which means that you have an infinite sac outlet. Fleur - I really don’t think this is very powerful at all, seeing how it needs fish to have its ability trigger, and there really aren’t that many fish cards, on top of that fish cards that are fine with dying/being sacced. It would be a cool common in a fish-heavy set that would cater to it though. gluestick248 - Funny flavorful card, making it a fun literal bear, but practical usefulness is a different story. Well, bears are that way. Flo00 - Interesting card that might be pretty hard to build around with enough other fish, but it spawning two fishies already makes it pretty worthwhile. Perhaps blinking it would be a good strategy. collex - Nice card, that would probably be fine if it were an uncommon or maybe even a common. It really isn’t that powerful in comparison to something like Falkenrath Noble as this also has to tap. Though, it creating counters does allow it to be proliferated, so it’s got that going for it. Main thing I don’t entirely get is why it’s blue with a black activated cost and not just entirely black, as its abilities fully fit black. Jartis - Strong graveyard+saccing/dying hate, but with a high cost. I wonder if it could see play in Modern sideboards. Small thing by the way: in the first ability, you don’t counter “instead”, you just counter. ameisenmeister - That’s a fish in quite the different color. Nice! It’s abilities are a nice limiter, though it’s still a really good blocker for two cmc even if you can’t get the ability to go off which is weird to have in red. Also a nice finisher if you bolted a big guy. Boogymanjunior - Another fish that has a limiter to stop its strong stats from being too strong. I really like its self-comboing ability of saccing for a +1/+1 counter.

Wow. Definitely didn't see that coming. Thanks for the win melono! Next challenge: LIMIT #5: Your card uses a completely new keyword of your own invention. LIMIT #102: Some people just want to watch the world burn! Your card has an element of chaos. (Thanks, ameisenmeister!) LIMIT #119: Pay your tribute! Please? You card offers a choice to one or more opponents. (Thanks Flo00!)

The card's name actually is the name of the original artwork

Encroaching Nature Sorcery Choose one: *Each player searches their library for two land cards, puts them onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffles their library. *Destroy all artifacts and enchantments. Delegate (You may cast this spell for its delegate cost. If you do, an opponent chooses a mode instead. You still choose all targets.)

Tempt of Magic Enchantment Whenever a player casts their first spell on a turn, that player may Forbode. (That player reveals the top card of their library. If it shares a color with the casted spell, they create a Rune token. Then they may put that card into their graveyard.) If an opponent chooses to do so, Tempt of Magic deals 3 damage to them. (Rune tokens are Token Artifact--Rune with: " , sacrifice this token: Add 1 mana of any color to your mana poo,. Spend this mana only to cast instant or sorcery spells.)

Playing off of one of my favorite cards in Modern Horizons, Throes of Chaos. Night at the Casino Sorcery Gamble. (Look at the top card of your library. If it's a spell with less converted mana cost than this card's, you may reveal it and cast it without paying it's mana cost. Otherwise, put it into your hand.): Your opponent may exile Night at the Casino from your graveyard. If they do, gamble twice. Otherwise, return Night at the Casino to your hand.
