Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of each week, a winner will be determined by forum poll. The winner's card will be rendered and featured on the Welcome page, and the winner decides the challenge for the next week's Contest! Here we go, competitors: our five-hundred and eleventh challenge! The winner of the "Puff.... All gone." poll was BunBunGun with...And the challenge issued by our winner was... To increase your chances of winning and to also make creating the poll easier on whomever is doing so, please try to use a render. Additionally, please try to keep your entry edits all in one post - if you need to change it you can put your old entry in a spoiler marked "Old entry" and leave the newest rendition to be seen. Just use the edit button in the top/right of your original post. And now, time to begin the challenge! Best of luck, competitors!

Poké Ball Artifact When Poké Ball enters, exile target creature until Poké Ball leaves the battlefield. , : Choose a card exiled with Poké Ball. You may play it this turn, and you may spend mana of any type to cast it.
If I had access to a functioning Universes Beyond template, I would absolutely have used it instead

A card I made for the creature type game before, with a bit of a flavor boost:

Changing entry because my original definitely didn't feel like a Yoink. Note: Adding to my instant creature designs with this one. Important note is that in order to cast one, it needs to have a valid target, like all instants. Unlike other instants, it will resolve onto the battlefield as a part of the spell's resolution. Since instants can't exist on the battlefield, once it resolve onto it, it will no longer be an instant. It is, however, both an instant card and a creature card while in hand, grave, exile, or library. While on the stack, it is both an instant spell and a creature spell. The "you" in its dies trigger is the last controller of it (so most likely whoever's spell you stole). Reference to Black Market Connections.

elchetibo That doesn't quite work as written. Once you gain control of the enchanted creature, the aura is no longer attached to a legal target and falls off.

I would like to add that the link to "gain control" was not part of the challenge. "Literally" can be interpreted as many things, not just "gain control" :-)

Overcharm of Passion Instant Multikicker (You may pay an additional any number of times as you cast this spell.)
Choose X. For each time this spell was kicked, you may choose the same mode up to one additional time— • Overcharm of Passion deals 2 damage to target creature or planeswalker. • Destroy target artifact with mana value of X or less. • Target player gains control of target permanent with mana value of X or less until end of turn. Untap that permanent. It gains haste until end of turn. • Target creature gets +1/+0 and gains first strike and trample until end of turn.

For my own entry, since I'm currently in the last stanges of our renovations and therefore pressed on time, I'll use an old design of mine (which I'm pretty sure I never used in a CotW challenge though). It's supposed to answer a simple question: "What to do, after you joink something? How about selling it back.."

With how much I love taking control of stuff, I can't believe how long it took me to make an entry. Here goes nothing:
