Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of each week, a winner will be determined by forum poll. The winner's card will be rendered and featured on the Welcome page, and the winner decides the challenge for the next week's Contest! Here we go, competitors: our four-hundred and ninety-seventh challenge! The winners of the "Bargained? I never kick 'er!" poll were BunBunGun (left) and Daij_Djan (right) with...And the challenge issued by one of our winners was... Design a card (that interacts) with choices.(" Choose one –", targeting, ... . Everything that requires a choice of sorts to resolve a spell/ability can and should be considered.“) To increase your chances of winning and to also make creating the poll easier on whomever is doing so, please try to use a render. Additionally, please try to keep your entry edits all in one post - if you need to change it you can put your old entry in a spoiler marked "Old entry" and leave the newest rendition to be seen. Just use the edit button in the top/right of your original post. And now, time to begin the challenge! Best of luck, competitors!

So is it supposed to have choices, or interact with cards that have choices?

A bit unclear about the instructions, but... I think this counts? For the more serious entry...

I gave up balancing this card for 1v1, which is not ideal.

@ Idea: Both options are fine, that's why there are brackets

Oppressor's Sigil Instant Choose one - - You choose how players make choices this turn. Whenever a player makes a choice this turn, draw a card. - You control players while they’re searching their libraries this turn. Whenever a player searches their library this turn, draw a card. "The greatest hypocrisy is that you have chosen to rob others of choice." - Daeyang Kim, to Maia Drell

Tweak Instant You may choose new targets for target spell. If that spell is modal, you may choose new modes for it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “You wanted a fiery cataclysm of death? Well, now you have a bird.” —A-ten Ba’Ro Changing modes is a tricky business... After reading up a little too long on this, I've come to the conclusion that what you intend to do is actually possible (though I needed quite a bit of convincing). The order of the sentences would need to be swapped, though. Since you can have modes that have varying amounts of targets, it's first the mode that would need to be changed, then the targets selected for it. I couldn't find a reference to "changing of modes" for a spell. Most discussions on this have to do with copying modal spells, which is not the case here. Here is the wording I'd recommend: " Choose target spell. If it's modal, you may choose new modes for it. Reselect any targets for it." I might add the following as a reminder: " (Modes with illegal targets can't be chosen.)"

Insatiable Hellbringer Creature - Demon Menace Cumulative upkeep--Choose one -- * Sacrifice another creature. * Discard a card. * You lose 4 life. (At the beginning of your upkeep, put an age counter on this permanent, then sacrifice it unless you pay its upkeep cost for each age counter on it.)

A bit more wordy than I'd like, but I think it's needed for the effect. Still doesn't take into account the order of revealing what you searched or all doing it at the same time but shush that's way too long for a card and I'm not expecting to "win" anyways.

N-Headed Chronoid Creature - Elemental As you put modal spells and abilities on the stack, they gain entwine . (Choose all modes if you pay the entwine cost.)N-Headed Chronoid gets +1/+1 for each mode you chose this turn. 2/2 EDIT: After I posted, I saw that at least two others did similar things, so I decided to repost this. {old entry} Aversive Chronoid Creature - Elemental If an opponent would choose one or more modes, you choose the mode or modes instead. (The choice must be legal. Your opponent still chooses all targets.)3/3
