Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries!   These were two characters in a D&D campaign I played, the genasi druid was mine and the tiefling bard was my friend's. They were girlfriends who would buff each other up and combo off in the best ways in battle. |

2 cards should be more then enough i would say. It is only ment to show off the synergy you are planing to go for -- A first reference so to speak. We are not making a full blown archetype here (Or maybe we do -- As long as its core can be cramped down to 2 cards) |

Favored Pilgrim  Creature - Human Citizen ~ enters the battlefield with a shield counter on it for each Spirit you control. Whenever a Spirit enters the battlefield under your control, put a shield counter on ~. 1/2 Matsuri of the Ancients Sorcery - Arcane Splice onto Arcane-- , Remove two counters from a creature you control. Create a 1/1 colorless Spirit creature token with soulshift 3. NOTE: I'm in Japan on vacation (hence the theme), so no renders from me this week. But I can make them after Dec 11. NOTE 2: The 2 counters aim to represent the 2 claps customary at most Shinto shrines.

Plus, I'm not using any ai-generated images, as they're essentially plagiarism. Ral: Then what do you call your trolling through DeviantArt? Hey, I always, ALWAYS post artist credit! With ai images, they're scraped from all over the net, without even notifying their creators that the scaping has happened, and those creators are NEVER given any credit. |

I ended up revisiting a fairly old design and getting inspiration by some games released since I made it. The idea is to capture roughly how Gooigi works as an easy respawnable assistant while still making the bros. work as a team - Mario's existence threatens spells that might remove him and his brother, and Luigi benefits from his brother hitting the opponent over and over to make a massive multiplayer army.   |

   Whichever you cast first will help the other. If you cast Sagu Smog first, Misthollow Horror gets the P/T buff due to the cards you delved. If you cast Misthollow Horror first, the cards you discarded will fuel your delve. It's also strong enough to withstand Sagu Smog. P. S. Misthollow Horror is theoretically in the Shadows over Innistrad block. The card discard ought to help both madness and delirium, while the P/T buff due to exiled cards hearkens back to Misthollow Griffin having an ability associated with exile. |
