Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of each week, a winner will be determined by forum poll. The winner's card will be rendered and featured on the Welcome page, and the winner decides the challenge for the next week's Contest! Here we go, competitors: our four-hundred and fifty-third challenge! The winner of the "A pretty silk scarf!" poll was vizionarius with...And the challenge issued by our winner was... Imagine that the Multiverse can be traversed by common folk and not just by Planeswalkers and Praetors. Create a card that highlights mechanics from at least two different planes in the MtG multiverse. Imagine migrants from one plane learning to fit into their new, chosen settled plane, or a mixing of cultural customs, or cross training in combat skills. (The card doesn't have to be common. And the flavor combinations are just for illustration and are not comprehensive of what can be submitted. ) To increase your chances of winning and to also make creating the poll easier on whomever is doing so, please try to use a render. Additionally, please try to keep your entry edits all in one post - if you need to change it you can put your old entry in a spoiler marked "Old entry" and leave the newest rendition to be seen. Just use the edit button in the top/right of your original post. And now, time to begin the challenge! Best of luck, competitors!

In the search for his perfect soldiers, and without the constraints on planar travel, Nicol Bola's options become much more widely open. Perhaps then Amonkhet would still be death soldier factory it became, but now one geared towards attracting all kinds of travelers to integrate within its 'culture' with the false promises of the supposed god-pharaoh as bait. ~ So as you can see, I am mixing Innistrad into Amonkhet. Honestly there was a lot of fertile ground here, as both sets have a lot in common (lots of graveyard mechanics that could be mixed, or trying different races in amonkeht or the fact both sets have curses). I tried to mix as much as I think of coming together flavor-wise and mechanically while still looking like a hopefully clean enough card.

Snapcaster's Revelation Instant Target instant or sorcery card in your graveyard gains flashback until end of turn. The flashback cost is equal to its mana cost. (You may cast that card from your graveyard for its flashback cost. Then exile it.)Miracle Jump-start A lifetime of alchemy on Innistrad solved with one word - "Mizzium".

Clever using the keywords introduced in those sets! Missed opportunity on naming it a Cerodon, though!

If so: Time for one of Theros' monsters to become even scarier - on the plane of monsters!

I'd say so! As long as the mechanic is heavily from a plane where it plays a major role, it's all good.

I've had this idea of New Phyrexia invading Innistrad for about two years now. Here's one.

I've had this idea of New Phyrexia invading Innistrad for about two years now. Here's one. The additional cost ability should read "As an additional cost to cast Soulless Woodterror, sacrifice a creature." Lady: Your entry could also use some templating help. First off, are you reanimating from any graveyard, or just your own? I'll provide rewrites for all three possible options: Return any number of creature cards with total mana value of X or less from among graveyards to the battlefield under your control, where X is your devotion to white.Return any number of creature cards with total mana value of X or less from any one graveyard to the battlefield under your control, where X is your devotion to white. Return any number of creature cards with total mana value of X or less from your graveyard to the battlefield, where X is your devotion to white. Considering that is king of reanimation from any graveyard, I recommend you stick to that last one.

Put any number of creature cards with total mana value X or less from graveyards onto the battlefield under your control, where X is your devotion to white.Put any number of creature cards with total mana value X or less from a single graveyard onto the battlefield under your control, where X is your devotion to white. Return any number of creature cards with total mana value X or less from your graveyard to the battlefield, where X is your devotion to white. The use of "return" is actually only used when a card goes from it's owner's graveyard to it's owner's battlefield. In this instance, you don't specify whose control it enters (that it's entering "under your control"), since it is a given. In situations where the card enters to a different player than the card's owner, the term "put" is used, and the controller needs to be specified. With "put," the word "onto" is used. With "return," the word "to" is used (the battlefield). No use of the word "of" when referring to mana value X or less. The term is " single graveyard" when only from one graveyard. No need to say " among" when it can be any amount of graveyards. Examples: From your graveyard to your battlefield. From your graveyard to opponent's battlefield. From opponent's graveyard to your battlefield. From opponent's graveyard to their battlefield.
