Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of each week, a winner will be determined by forum poll. The winner's card will be rendered and featured on the Welcome page, and the winner decides the challenge for the next week's Contest! Here we go, competitors: our four-hundred and eighteenth challenge!
The winner of the "Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde" poll was pernicious with... And the challenge issued by our winner was... Design a non-planeswalker card that wouldn't look out of place in Lorwyn and Morningtide. Don't use mechanics and keywords that weren't used in those two sets. Be sure to respect the plane's lore and feeling. Don't make cards themed around Shadowmoor.

Looks like there is only 1 Tribal Enchantment that is blue... and there are no Tribal Enchantments that have Changeling! So here it is! (Since Changelings have such a unique look (and really all Lorwyn races do), I opted to re-use an existing art, which I'm generally not a fan of doing, but hope its OK given the situation.  Note that this helps with championing creatures, since you get to champion the token. Also could search for this with the Harbingers. I had mostly draft in mind when designing this card (since this was the block when I was getting into doing a lot of FNM drafts), but I think it would be decent in constructed formats too. This would be an auto-include in my Reaper King EDH (I know, that's Shadowmoor, but WotC likes to have cards that work well cross-sets).  |

The Harlequin There are no cards in Lorwyn and Morningtide that used -1/-1 counters; so the answer is no, don't use them. You may use a -X/-X effect instead, if you want.

Since I've done quite a few of them in the past, I decided against using an Evoke design this time. Instead, I settled on doing an arcun - especially since Lorwyn block didn't have those, let alone WotC's most recent shift making all arcuns uncommon legends, obviously.
Looking at the available tribes, I then decided to go with the (in?)famous Faeries and play into their small "cast during an opponent's turn" subtheme:
