Thanks for the win melono!
Next challenge: Make a land that does something different depending on the colors or number of colors your deck plays! What that exactly means is entirely up to you.

The power ramp might be too steep but I'm not sure how else to balance it.

Commanders' StatuaryLand ~ enters the battlefield tapped. : Add one mana of any color in your commander’s color identity. Lieutenant -- As long as you control your commander, ~ is an X/X Sculpture creature in addition to its other types, where X is the number of colors in your commanders' color identity.

I won't find time to judge this for another week. You can wait that long, or if anyone wants me to just quickly announce a winner, I'll to that.

Thanks for your patience. {boxlaunch}I like how open this is. It has the considerable disatvantage of only tapping for mana if a land with a basic type entered this turn, so you only want to play it if you have a really good use. I can see a ton fun uses for this. Enabling landwalk, turning Flashfires/ Boiling Seas into Armageddon, .. .{viriss}I think the balancing is good in a Shrine of the Forsaken Gods style. The only strange thing is the different wording of the second ability. It sounds like a Triome would allow you to activate the second ability but not the first and also not count towards the last. {vizionarius}Good card. I really like lieutenant as condition to animate this.
{Daij_Djan}Good card. Funny how it actually doesn't offer anything to Draco itself. {Jartis}I like how this doesn't do anything on its own yet gets really powerful in a multicolored deck. Feels like it is somewhere between Reflecting Pool and Doubling Cube. Those are all good entries. I'm just a tiny bit disappointed that everyone went with "more colors is better". Since I made it interpret as you wish, that's totally fine though. {winner} boxlaunchrunner-up goes to @daij_Djan

Temur Battleground Land : Add . Ferocious — : Add or . Activate only if you control a creature with power 4 or greater. This is actually part of a cycle. With the Sultai one probably being a bit too powerful and the Jeskai and Abzan ones being a bit weird:

Mardu HomelandsLegendary Land ~ enters the battlefield tapped. Add , , or . Whenever a creature you control with haste attacks, it gets +1/+0 until end of turn. Note: This works nicely with Dash.

I have been Wedged between a rock and a hard place recently but I reemerge to judge this contest! {Spoiler} viriss - I appreciate this card having the lair the since the original cycle was for shards, why not wedges? I think "Tunnel" in the name is the real outlier, because I can imagine a big angry dragon flying out of their lair, but for some reason the name isn't fitting for me. Though I do like how this card is kind of like stapling the 3 Orb of Dragonkinds onto a land, and the draw back of being a lair feels appropriate for the power of it's ability. Flo00 - Really cool that you made a whole cycle with the orignal KTK mechanics. I agree with your assessment of the Sultai, Jeskai, and Abzan lands. The other two are fair but still would likely be auto includes in any 3-5 color deck they could go in. Am definently glad they don't have an land typings for easy tutorability though. Slight thing that irks me is the color that the lands natively tap for. The Tarkir clans designs are "centered" around the enemy color in the wedge, ( for Abzan, for Jeskai, etc.) so for me personally it would make most sense for this to be the leading color. I have been listening to MaRo's Drive to Work podcast a lot recently. Right now, he is walking through each 3 color pairing and how they design them which is probably why I noticed this. I would encourage anyone doesn't listen to it to do so. serraphim - I really like this design space! We have seen a couple of "Figure of Destiny" creatures recently but I like bringing that idea into lands. I also like how it requires the mana of the type before so it isn't really fixing, just a land that add types. Want to note that it is technically redundant to have " : Add ." since it has the Island typing (though some still have the line in reminder text.) See my comments on Flo00 's submission for how I would prefer Forest/G to be the starting type for this land (and to listen to DtW podcast) This land being fetchable is also not lost on me which I think raises it's power level a bit. vizionarius - Like Ragavan needed the help... (kidding). This land is quite scary in the right build but not in an oppressive way. Definently would make me think twice about attacks in limited in fear of a larger crack back. I also appreciate keeping the mechanically identity of mardu and tarkir in mind. {Winner} serraphim really like the leveling land design space. Big fan of all the entries though!

Usually the wedges should be. But the clans are not. That's because they shifted to friendly pairs in Dragons of Tarkir by dropping the enemy color. You can see this on some Fate Reforged cards like Runemarks and the khans. Strange enough they even did a mythic cycle that switched over to the other color.

I noticed this as well when I looked into it more after I posted and stand corrected for your submission. I had justified it as, sultai for example, using Black and Blue means (Ruthlessness and Knowledge) for Greens goals (Growth), but I think I was just trying confirming my bias, especially since I started playing right after this and am not super familiar with the lore of this block.

Thank you, boxlaunch! For the next challenge, design a land card that cares about the creatures your opponents control.

Daij_Djan I like the theme of being under siege by an army. Mechanically, it's nice that it makes being on the draw more bearable against fast decks. vizionarius It's looks like a very high risk land that acts like a worse Bloom Tender every turn but in the right situation a high reward. It wants to reward you for playing as many colors as possible to maximize the effect, but there's a lot of luck involved in what your opponent plays for your colors to match up. I think most games there would be better options given that the ability is generally dead against 1 color decks and at best breaks even with two "useable" mana against 2 colors while still running the risk in 3+ colors to actually ramp ahead and have colored mana you can use. I don't play a lot of multiplayer, I can see it would increase the value having more than one opponent, though. Phyrexian Ymonrah I love the name. I like treasure tokens, but I don't think I'd play this if I had more than one opponent without some serious tricks in my sleeves. In a 1v1 I like it, but boy does it hurt that this kinda reads create X-1 treasure tokens since you lose a permanent mana generator to create them. Winner: I'm going to give it to Daij_Djan.
