Rejoice!!! The Judgement Day has arrived!!! {Akai Ryu}I like the fallen angel flavor, you hit that nail right on the head. But "hexproof from this card's controller" doesn't actually work: hexproof from X means it can't be targeted by things your opponents control that have quality X. You would probably be better off writing it out instead of trying to be clever: "This card can't be the target of spells or abilities you control." {viriss}Again, really cool flavor, having to work at getting your genie out of their lamp, the three wishes thing, all of it. However, i'm not really sure this is the best execution. First, Genie of Your Heart's Desire feels like an Izzet card, maybe Grixis, but certainly not 5 color. Second, while bringing back old mechanics is something I really like, I feel like the hideaway execution detracts from the three wishes flavor. Instead of three wishes, you get the same wish three times. This probably would be better if you added exiling one of the top four cards of your library to the tap ability instead of using Hideaway. Also, I'm not sure casting a copy of a permanent card is a thing you can do in the rules, which is what would happen here if you exiled one with the hideaway ability on the front. There's probably a reason wizards never printed cards that can copy permanent spells. {monger}[WOOHOO GIANT ROBOTS!!!! I really like the front of this card. Beautiful. And I love how bombing it outside of combat can't really get rid of it. But, the back face has some wording issues, specifically, being put into the hand transformed. From the comprehensive rules (emphasis is mine):
What this means for your card is that it doesn't need to "re transform" itself when you bounce it, the rules do that for you because a card can't exist "transformed" anywhere except on the battlefield. Still, what your card is doing seems pretty interesting/clever {Daij_Djan}This card was a great choice for this challenge. I loved it in First Times and I love it now. It's a really unique transform condition, and I love the symmetry of the two faces, giving them a distinct yet connected feel that's squarely within the colors of their respective face. I have nothing negative to say really, I love this design. I'm giving Daij_Djan the win, with Akai Ryu as a close second. Really flavorful designs all around guys.

Strike the Heart Sorcery ( C) Kicker (You may pay an additional as you cast this spell.)Choose one, if you paid the kicker cost you may choose both: • Destroy target creature, its controller loses 2 life. • Strike the Heart deals 4 damage to target player, then it deals 1 damage to target creature that player controls. {Render}

Considering I'm currently stalling two different games for way too long already, I'll announce a winner in both of them for now. If you want some more feedback, feel free to PM me and I'll respond as soon as possible We had some pretty interesting designs around this time – in the end, I decided to give the win to kinotherapy with viriss as runner-up!

ヽ(・∀・)ノ thx uヽ(・∀・)ノ For the next challenge: design a split card in the Guilds of Ravnica style. The specific criteria here are: - Design a two colored split card.
- The first half must use hybrid mana of those two colors and no other mana symbols other than generic in its mana cost.
- The second half must be gold, featuring both colors and no other mana symbols other than generic in its mana cost, and have a higher converted mana cost than the first half.
You don't have to follow the naming convention. im not that strict

{Viriss - Permission // Permitted} Cool for following the wording convention, but odd for being just two variants on the same word. (Though GRN did have Flower // Flourish..) Permission would be cool if it were creature you control; as it is it's too efficient as disruption for its cost, particularly on a split card. Permitted is also too strong, as a better Dismiss with a swapped for . Neat Azorius concepts but need some refining (and Permitted could do with a more effect) {Tesagk - Testimony // Decision} can't place -1/-1 counters, even on tapped creatures. (I argued once that Choking Fumes says you could do this but this card is apparently widely regarded as a break) Decision is rather narrow, but that's not so bad on a split card in what I would assume is a heavy -1/-1 counter environment. It's a little awkward that the two sides read as though they synergize even though they can't be cast together, but that's I guess that's not a real problem either {monger - Pride // Primality} Nice names on this card! Pride is nice, but Primality is a massive bomb and might want the cost to be increased, the counters to be reduced to end of turn pump or the rarity to go to rare (or some combination). The haste also isn't really doing much, but I suppose it's there to make it .. {jartis - Conspire // Contingency} Conspire probably wants to exile the card, but is otherwise fine, if quite weak (You have a half chance of hitting a land, you know..) I think it could be an opponent [/card]Anticipate[/card] kind of thing. Not really sure if that's ok for hybrid but it feels right. Contingency seems much better, sort of like Epic Experiment (which you could look to for wording help) but without caring about mana cost and with with double X (since you're just going to bin any non-spells you surveil). I like that the first half uses your opponents library while the second uses yours, but the power balance is odd - I don't think I would ever cast Conspire. {gluestick248 - Extract // Extrude} Extract G/U G/U Sorcery Remove up to two +1/+1 counters from among creatures you control, then draw that many cards. // Extrude 4GU Sorcery Put two +1/+1 counters on each creature you control. Extract is a cool name for this effect, but it's quite weak - part of the problem is that and definitely don't get the same rate on drawing cards ( Harmonize notwithstanding). Extrude is just Strength of the Pack, which isn't particularly but is effective (probably too effective on a split card, but the first half is weak so..) It's a bit awkward that the first "early game" half requires you to already have counters out, but the second "late game" half is what makes them. No rarity? {gamma3 - Flail / Flatten} Mutiny is a cool niche effect to have on one half of a split card, but I don't like it in which is a shame since it's also elevating the cost of the first Flail. Flatten is a crazy expensive but cool Fireball; awkward that it requires a target, which can lead to massive blowouts, but the ceiling is also pretty high with it potentially dealing double X damage to an opponent. The names are good!!!
augur wins with gamma3 as a close second. It's a gruul gruul summer

Thanks!! Primality was originally 5 mana, lol. and it gave first strike. and it was an instant. dont let monger design overruns, kids
Your next challenge: design a gold uncommon creature! This card can be an arcun- something that synergizes very well with a color group's draft strategy, but it doesn't have to be.

This card can be an arcun- something that synergizes very well with a color group's draft strategy, but it doesn't have to be. What? What's arcun- ? Devout Healer Creature - Cleric Prevent all damage that would be dealt to Devout Healer. , : Direct all damage that would be dealt to target creature this turn to Devout Healer instead. "Put your soul on the line, nothing less, for the souls of many more depend on it."
