I've been hoping for a red +1/+1 counters matter theme for a long time now (someday, Rumbling Ruin), and this card is basically exactly what I was hoping for. Looks like a very solid card, as it's always at least as much power as mana you put into it. The name gives me more blue vibes, though, and the flavor text could use some work. Flo00 - Silverleaf HunterI'm a fan of keyword support, and this fits right in with the trample cards in Ikoria. I like the flavor text, too.
I like lands as a Gruul archetype, but this card is almost the same Zendikar Incarnate. It's a fine card, if not particularly creative.

How about a gold creature with a "when this creature dies" effect.

Yeah, I started with a design and, as I tend to do on all my concepts, I dropped the unnecessary additional colors. I realized my mistake as soon as I posted

These are all really good cards. Thanks a lot. I'm basing this off of which death effect I liked the most. (And I kinda hoped for an Izzet goblin to round out the set =( lol) Flo00 This goblin is strange. Why is it hiding in my library? =) I do wish it also had an ETB effect to balance out tucking it down two cards. On the other hand it's near indestructible, or at least its god loves it and will always resurrect it. lol gamma3 This gob is a bomb indeed! I did think it should be "sacrifice another creature" to avoid confusing... but it's less spiteful then, so I'm okay with it. thaneofglamis This one is harder to judge. I'm throwing away lands to get another card. But I'm rewarded if this dies with a potential fatty. Can the goblin have haste as well? odivesco This is a strong card, though Elenda, the Dusk Rose does more for less. But your card is rare and isn't legendary. SilentKobold I had to review the existing haunt cards, and I'm surprised there isn't a card like yours already! I do see that most of the haunts are "when I die, when you die" effects. But your "secret advisor" is cute, feels more like a reverse bestow. {Spoiler}{Winner} Winner gamma3

Silver border blue and red goblin with a dies trigger, you say? Goblin Professor Creature — Goblin Wizard *silver border* When Goblin Professor dies, roll a six-sided die. Discard a number of cards equal to the result, then draw that many cards. At least he doesn’t play favorites.3/3

Return to the Portal Enchantment Players can activate abilities with in their cost only during the precombat main phase on their turn. Spells can only be cast during their controller’s main phase unless that spell says otherwise. Creatures can’t block, only intercept. I hope the last line makes it prefectly clear what this is about.

So it has! Thanks for the reminder! Judging commencing, please wait.{ gluestick248 - Goblin Professor}I appreciate you completing the incidental cycle started with the previous challenge. I wonder if making it looting (draw, then discard) instead of rummaging (discard, then draw) would be better or worse. On the one hand, you pick what to discard. On the other, if he dies while you're hellbent, the card effectively says, "roll a d6, draw that many cards." { odivesco - Judge Dredd}While I appreciate what you're trying to do here, this card and its implications make me really uncomfortable. It gives a player free reign to throw out the rulebook and decide what anything and everything means. Additionally, silver border isn't played in sanctioned play. That's kind of the point of silver border: it's silly and casual. Overall, this doesn't feel like it fits silver border design philosophy. { viriss - Polyhedronist}Now this is silver border! Dice? Check. Silly modifiers? Check. Fantastic melding of abilities? Check. I love this card. I guess if you have four, you need to roll a d20 and reroll anything above 14. Still, this is a fantastic silly card and to me, it represents everything silver border should be. My only criticism is that I really think it should cost or more. { Flo00 - Return to the Portal}A clever nostalgia callback here. The last line is pretty pointless though. Other than that, this seems like a fine card. { SilentKobold - Micromanager}Taking Fatespinner to a new level here. I wonder if this should be blue instead of red. I'm assuming you went with red based on the existence of Party Crasher and act of treason type effects, so I can see it, but I think blue works better.

gamma3 Yeah coloring this was pretty difficult, I knew I wanted ::B:: for the partial mindslaver effect (See Sorin Markov, Cruel Entertainment, and Worst Fears) and then either ::U:: to pay homage to Fatespinner or ::R:: for the extra combat steps. In the end I settled for ::R:: simply to make it a dwarf (a more exclusively ::R:: tribe than Goblins) for the name pun.
