Hello, I am Vp007. I love creating stuff and the card game "Force of Will". And mermaid. So, I am making a Force of Will custom deck with mermaids!

Hello there. I'm NotTerriblyRelevant, also known simply as UnderstandablyIrrelevant on Reddit and Discord. I've been making a few cards since about February or so, and into magic around December of '21. I'm mostly working on a couple of sets inspired partially by the Odyssey block, single mana focuses and off balance worlds are my passion.
I hope I'm doing this right, as I've never been on a forum before, or at least I don't think I have. Regardless, its good to be here, and I look forward to interacting with everyone.

Hey, name's GlitchHunter, but you can call me GH or Hunter if you wish. I originally came across MSE years ago (sometime back when the main site was sourceforge). I'm mainly into MTG, and a theorycrafter on archidekt (same handle). I first started collecting MTG during P02, before a long hiatus and buying a BG OGW block duel deck, and more recently getting into edh.

Oh Boy, I just now learned that the old forum migrated. See what happens when I don't check in on the site for a long while. I had been busy happily willing the hours (years) away with MSE working on my own non-MTG creations. I check back in and discover everything have moved! No site looks lovely. It will take some time getting used to, but that is on me. I really liked the old documentation page -- it was a useful quick reference page for me.
Anyway, I'm back!

Hi! I'm Manycrows, AKA Crows! I mostly play Alchemy and Brawl formats on Arena, and I love to make my decks too large to play consistently. Grew up playing Pokemon, started MTG a few years ago, and tried several times to pick up YGO, to very little success. I ended up downloading MSE to work on a set I call "Unzipped", which takes advantage of the computerized parts of Arena to make cards that wouldn't work anywhere else. Aside from that, I'll probably be making cards of the various TTRPG characters I've played, but I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up with a more serious set of my own at some point.

Hello all,
I came here because, like many I'm sure, I had an idea I wanted to explore. I've actually been playing MTG since the start. Well sorta. Beta anyway. Like most MTG players I dipped in and out over the last 30 years. I was actually "out" when I opened a comic book/game shop and full service sit down restaurant. That was my introduction to Commander. And I haven't looked back. I also love to draft. But Commander has the fun factor I enjoy in MTG. After 4 years I closed my shop and have to say I had seen an increase in players becoming saltier. Building with the intent to win at all costs, rather than have fun. And if your idea of fun is "I win on turn three", well let's just say we wouldn't play often. About 8 weeks ago I had the idea to make a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy deck and began with the idea of finding cards and then reskinning them with HHGTTG art from the movie. I was stymied by a color problem with connecting reasonable partner abilities and color identity with cards for the deck. So I dropped it. Then 3 weeks ago I was talking with someone in my play group about it and in an off hand way suggested I just make the cards myself. Which led me here. I then spent two days on nothing but it and got the first prototype done. And it was a fabulous feeling. Played fun and wasn't overpowered at all (against other decks of MTG product I had built. I'm a rogue deck builder and always build around the idea of this sounds fun. My answer to "What's your win con" has always been "It's Magic, I hit you in the face until you die." I'm also a comic book writer, novelist, game designer and avid pool player. I have a close friend and collaborator in comic books who is pretty well known. At a recent 3 day project meeting between us, I proposed the idea of designing Commander decks of his creator owned comics. With the intent of it being his own universe of MTG to play with. Initially there will be two decks on his site that can be downloaded to play against each other, with another pair following rapidly behind that. Four being the ideal number of course. And then a short "release" break followed by another 4 being added to his site early next year. The first draft of the first of his decks is done. Look forward to joining the conversations here. I hope I didn't stray too far in this intro post. Sciophobia

Hello hello! I've been goofing around with Magic Set Editor for the better part of fifteen years now, and somehow never got around to checking out the forums. However, after a long hiatus, I've gotten back into MTG in the past year or two, which prompted me to revive one of my pet projects. I think I've got my homebrew set polished enough to start trying to playtest it, but I thought it might also be a good time to share with the community.

Hi all! I've been playing magic cards since 1995. My first starter deck was ice age. Suffice to say, I'm old. I made an account so I could ask questions about how to use MSE, I apologize in advance for all the dumb questions I will ask!
