Thanks for the win! ------- Next: Take the title of one of your favorite songs and use it as the name of your card. Bonus for using a line from that song in the flavor text of your card.

I love this PV for the last scene where time reverses to make him look like a powerful mage rules time.

So many verses that I love in this song, but alas I couldn't fit it all in flavor. So I decided to use the verse I always seem to gag on when I try singing it. Song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8eh8U5H7i0

One of the cutest songs I've ever heard. Don't know if it's intentional or not, but might I suggest "Up to two target creatures" as opposed to "Two target creatures" for wording? Since that way you don't need to have both creatures for the spell to have legal targets.

It was intentional, the song is a love song between two people so I thought it would be fitting to have two creatures be affected.

May have just spent an hour fighting with HTML to make this work. Anyway, here's The Whole Being Dead Thing.
| The Whole Being Dead Thing Two generic and Two Black
Enchantment
Enchant creature
Whenever a creature not enchanted by The Whole Being Dead Thing dies, you may return it to the battlefield under your contral and attach The Whole Being Dead Thing to it. If you do, The Whole Being Dead Thing becomes an aura until that creature leaves the battlefield.
As The Whole Being Dead Thing becomes unattached from a creature, sacrifice that creature.

I just couldn't pick one frame, so I figured out how to put the whole video in the image space. it's not the right aspect ratio, but I'm happy with it.

Whoops, time flies! Judging in the next 16 hours.Since I got inspired by my own prompt, decided to make a card as well just for fun. This has been a go-to song of mine ever since it came out. Pushing 50+ listens at this point. Single-take videoMusic videoLive studio video------- Feedback: twintania : Fun song! The effect makes sense given the end of the video, but it's a pretty brutal reset. Since it allows you to choose to keep it in play, it just might get people to scoop more than play the game through. It's not a lot of fun to re-start the game (one reason why sub-games are no longer around). I'd like it better if it only affected you (not everyone), and cost a bit less. Kinda like Lich's Mirror. Idea : The card's effect really gets at the lyric you quoted (sorry, the song is not for me, so didn't listen to all of it [not using this as criteria for judging]), and good name to match. A bit of a typo with the use of "second" instead of "first" in your second sentence. Nice card, feels appropriately costed and colored. I like it. Feels like something that could be legit (just flavored differently). emberfire17: Cute song indeed! Card fits the song/lyrics really nicely. Since you are required to have two creatures in play, you could probably lower the cost to 2-mv, because it does pose a casting limitation. ( Idea's suggestion seems pretty consistent with how WotC does it.) Good card, though! hydraheadhunter: Haha, that's an awesome solution to add in the video into the art! Nice work! No flavor text, but this video solution more than makes up for it! As to the card, ("Namaste you freaking posers"... hahahaha... [listening to song as I type this and it just got to that part])... anyway, the card is complex because of how Magic deals with Auras, but your templating seems correct (not an easy task). It basically gives persist/undying to creatures not enchanted with it, but only one creature at a time for each of this in play. Might be a little over-costed (3-mv might be OK)? But I'd have to see in action. I really like this card (and your submission in general, even if not quite my musical taste)! pernicious: Wow! Love the song! Thanks for introducing me to Port Sulphur Band just now (my sister is a choreographer who often uses these types of songs for her work, she'll love it too)! Such an excellent flavor with the card. Feel of the card fits the feel of the song a ton, even in aesthetic. It looks really cool in the hybrid frame, but it feels a lot more than . So seeing this in mono- would feel a bit off to me. Other than that, the cost seems appropriate. It's unlikely that there will be a full six targets, but that is irrelevant to the flavor. Even if there are, it doesn't feel too strong, since you're at such a low life to have all those targets. Really like this! Winner: So, not going to use my personal preferences in music to judge this (I don't expect anyone to like my song of choice in my card... definitely an acquired taste 20 years in the making). I'm just glad that you all had songs that inspired you to make your cards! Based solely on card design, and how it fits the song style/lyrics/video, I'll give this one to pernicious. hydraheadhunter is a super close second.

Dang, I'd hoped the music video'd be able to push it over the edge for me (in actuality I just didn't want to pick a frame and like a incredibly pointless challenge). Oh well. Yes, I did think long and hard about the wording to get it so that it'd do what I needed to do. I have it at four because the canon cost for giving your whole field persist is five, and this is only marginally worse effect-wise as you get every trigger during a board wipe and get to etb-ltb 'em all an additional time but you only get to keep one. That's much worse but it balances out to being just marginally worse because enchantments are more difficult to get rid of than artifacts, so 4. You might be right about it being over-costed, but It's better to be slightly over-costed than severely undercosted right?

Thank you for the win, vizionarius. I'm glad you liked the song.
The next challenge is: Design a card that has a palindrome long at least 5 letters in its name.

Mirror Rorrim Legebdary Creature - Shapeshifter At the beginning of combat on each of your turns, choose any number of other non-Vampire creatures you control. Create a token that's a copy of each of those creatures. Switch their power and toughness. They gain haste. Exile them at the beginning of the next end step. 6/6

Of the 25,318 cards in the current canon, at least 14,275 have this property since "a" and "I" are bothe palindromes of lengt one. If that was an edge case you overlooked, restricting the palindrome lengt to > 1 could cut the number down significantly. If it was something you considered and decided you liked, feel free to ignore me.
