"I haven't heard of any demons on the Arena lately." My sword flashed out of its sheath. "It hasn't touched my little bandar, has it?" I growled.Shimmersting, the Reflected  Legendary Artifact - Equipment  Equipped creature gets +2/+2 for each permanent named Shimmersting, the Reflected you control. Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control, you may create a token that's a copy of Shimmersting, except the copy isn't legendary and it doesn't have this ability. If you do, attach it to that creature. Equip 
Shimmersting won't exist for a few hundred years but shhh fuzzy timegurfafflekinsSunspear Converter - the body on this is alright iguess, but this has no business being common. 8/10 |

What was she, the courier?Overbearing Angel  Creature - Angel  Flying Whenever a creature you control blocks or becomes blocked, ~ gets -X/-0 and that creature gets +0/+X until end of turn, where X is ~'s power. 3/4 (Should only trigger once, because any more and X = 0) Shimmersting, the Reflected: Seems real neat. Might want nontoken though because wow my creatures are huge all of a sudden from just one Hordeling Outburst and they all automagically have +8/+8. Even for the 6 cost. 8/10.

Khilna, the Blossoming: Legendary efreet - good stuff; Defender buffs; good, just sad it can't go in a Doran EDH deck (but probably for the best). 9/10.

Aylin punches the statue's feet, sending a shudder that dismantles the whole thing in less than a second.
"Whoever did this is terrible at their job..." she whispers in frustration.
That night, as she lies on the floor ready to fall asleep, she decides to explore a new function of the Gem of Allure she learned during her fight with Malextros. She does something she never thought she'd do in her life: she meditates! Focusing her respiration, she has a faint sensation of leylines she can read through the Gem. It won't reach far, but it's the best she can do. She buries her hand in the ground and lets the Gem feed her information. If anybody uses geomancy in her general vicinity, the Gem's power should alert her.She falls asleep after a few hours, ready to enter the world of nightmares yet again.Geomancer's Alertness Instant Until end of turn, lands you control gain "  : This land deals 1 damage to target attacking creature." A geomancer can sense you coming from miles away, focusing on even the slightest vibrations on the ground.

Aylin may feel the vibrations as the broken earth is reformed back to its pristine conditions. She won't find a geomancer, here or anywhere else, doing the reformation.
The Cartographer's Step Legendary Artifact  Whenever an opponent activates an ability of a permanent they control, if it isn't a mana ability, draw a card. The greatest craft of the master realmstitcher is the Cartographer's Step, a map that traces the footsteps of every creature within its bounds.
korakhos Geomancer's Alertness - omai, this is a minefield. attacking should keep this in check tho. 8/10

Aylin can't believe the phenomenon even though it's taking place right before her eyes... Whoever is doing this must be really powerful, if they can shape the earth from such a distant place with such accurate precision. This geomancer might be even more powerful than she is!
The Cartographer's Step: I considered whether or not this should have a rhystic clause, but I think it's fine as it is, neat control card. 9/10.

An opponent chooses two of them. Put the chosen cards into your graveyard and the other cards revealed this way into your hand. (You know what, let's experiment with some card designs; why not?)

As Reyhsia is minding her own buisiness, stomps that shake the earth around her indicate there's something coming. It's either a gargantuan creature or...
Aylin approaches Reyhsia, a murderous glare in her eyes.
"So let me get this straight..." she says enraged "I'm minding my own business in a 'friendly' sparring with someone. That someone shoots me with a beam that has the capacity to kill me, I react to that and you interrupt us saying I'm the bad guy?
"But why stop there? Then you think that a person who thinks their parents are dead has to know they're not, and you decide to impose the knowledge on them without even caring to find out why they thought them dead in the first place... And instead of owning up to it, instead of trying to help that person by accepting your mistake, you send someone to erase the memory just so you can just get disinvolved with the whole matter? Am I missing something?!"A wall rises at Reyhsia's back and begins moving, dragging her towards Aylin.Forced Exchange Sorcery Exchange control of two target lands, then tap those lands. Are you able to choose them to throw out? iunno. interesting take on the FoF variant, but I think this is generally going to be worse? and so can maybe be cheaper. 8/10

I assume it's not intentional that Escrith replaces death by doom blades or wrath of gods? Assuming that's the case it seems fine; 3/2 for 3 is alright and the upside is relatively minor until you start doing surveil shenanigans. 7/10

Pha'eri Bogbreather: I'd been toying with an idea like this, and you pulled it off great! The Gleam of Resistance is the cherry on the top. 10/10. Aylin laughs joylessly.
"Oh, yes, you're the real hero of the story! It was your intervention that saved Aiden from 'being maimed' yes! It was definitely that and not the fact that I wasn't planning on doing anything irreversible to him at all!
"And of course, if you hadn't sent Mei then she wouldn't have been there to help me at all! I'm pretty sure if it wasn't for you she would've never figured out to follow the earthquake I caused to its origin!
"And I forgot you were the one who told her to stab the demon, and who told me to pierce his head, or Aiden to bathe him in light. My you're quite the psychic, managing to coordínate all that from afar, hell I didn't even notice you in the vicinity, you must be truly amazing!
"And you must really care about Aiden, if you sent Mei to help, since she didn't disappear at all after striking the demon, leaving Aiden bleeding from a gaping hole in his abdomen. For a second there I thought it was Hanska who had done all the work!"
She pauses for a few seconds, breathing heavily. As she spoke and got increasingly angry, she had levitated the ground surrounding her, leaving her standing in a small island of dirt surrounding by a deep moat. She returns the earth to its place, then proceeds.
"If you could admit just a tiny bit of your mistakes I could at least have an ounce of respect for you... But trying to be the hero in a situation where some of us fought not knowing if we'd make it alive... That's low, I would've expected that from Kirino or Malextros, but not others..." she says venomously "You know what? Thank you, thank you for telling me my parents are alive. Now I can try to become a better person for their sake...

Forking Roads - dece for multiplayer drafts, feels like it's usually going to be worse than a tapland or a tri-tapland most the time, with more memory hassle to boot. 7/10

(Timing is three days post-Recovery for Hannah.) "Hey, Karina?" Hannah is beaming, holding something behind her back and lightly stepping up to Karina. "My tunneler's coming along now! All the damage the shaking caused it's been fixed and I should be done in a couple days! ... It just, you know... means I'm running out of time here."Hannah pulls out a bright metallic bracelet with a dark glass screen from behind her back. It's about half the size of Karina's forearm with light blue text saying "Karina Oblay, Student of 7CI?" across a bar at the top. Its default screen also has a clock indicating that the current time is "17.72", the current date is "Month 3, Day 23, 381 VY", and a notepad with sloppy handwriting saying "Friend!". It looks very similar to the device on Hannah's wrist.
"This is an Entelan transceiver. It's got a resonance coil in it so hopefully it'll work no matter where you and I are. We use these things all the time to talk across Volaria, but, you know... planes."
"All you've gotta do is say 'Interplanar communication, contact Hannah.'" The device clicks, and the one on Hannah's wrist lights up with a light beeping. Hannah pauses for a moment and looks out of the side of her eyes, then lifts her transceiver closer than Karina's. "Connect." The beeping stops. "See?" Hannah's voice comes out of the other transceiver as well. "Disconnect."
"These things are charged by aether condensation grids. I've got one set up at my place..." Hannah smiles at Karina again. "There'll be other Entelans here taking my place when I go home, so you can just ask one of them to use it and let them know you're my friend!"

Hannah's composure rapidly decomposes as Karina expresses her disappointment. "I... I don't want to leave either. You're my best friend and... but Mom says I'll die if I stay here forever... I don't even know if this'll work right..." Hannah throws her arms around Karina and takes a deep breath to push away her oncoming tears. "Maybe you could come with me. For a little bit at least, if you're not busy. Or I could ask Sara to visit again soon, since I'll have a way home. Or, I don't know, something, anything! There'll be a way!"Holy geez, this thing draws so many cards. I want this in commander or something, 10/10 Cling to Hope Sorcery As an additional cost to cast Cling to Hope, discard your hand. Take an extra turn after this one.

And until then, you can always talk to me now! I'll come find you... later? Later, sometime before I have to go!"
So I want to cast Cling to Hope and discard more copies of Cling to Hope. Seems good, but I think it's slightly weaker of a body than it needs to be? 7/10

I looked up to the old master, a pitiful wooden sword in my hand, and a straw hat upon my head. “A warrior is more than violence!” he barked. “Any fool can die with a fire in their eyes! If you desire greatness, first, you master grace!” He lunged at me with his sparring stick. I reacted in time to block it, but the force knocked me back enough for the hat to fall off. “No!” he yelled, whacking me on the head with the stick. “You lose your balance enough to lose your hat here, you lose your head out there!”
“The hat blocks my eyes.” I complain as I pick it back up.
“You think you can see everything during a fight?” The question was followed by another rap on the head. “Fighting requires not just speed and power, but a solid foot and a solid head. You must always know where you stand, and where your enemies stand, especially when you can’t see them.”

We circle around the arena, the sparring sticks cracking as they connected. Block. Block. Sidestep, don’t lose the hat, block. Block. SWING. The master grunts as I connect for the first time.
He stands straight and gives me a short bow. I do the same. My hat slides off.
WHACK.

Reyhsia, age 13
Aukashi crackles as the lightning dances down the blade. The old master looks down with a stern look. No magic, only steel.
The clang of the metal is so much worse than the sticks, each ringing of the swords crawling up my arm. Fight through the pain.
Block. Dodge. Swing. Miss. Dodge. Don't lose balance. Swing.
With every clash of the blades, I notice them hit a little softer. Block. With each of my strikes, I get a little closer. Block. The master has the grace, but so do I. Swing.
The master falls to his knees as Aukashi makes contact. Victory. I lean in, guiding his blood to stay where it belongs. My hat slides off.
I flinch. The master laughs.
"You did good, kid. Now let's get this patched up."
Reyhsia has spent 200 valor and unlocked Tactical Imperator.

Reyhsia walked into the small room 7CI had provided me, put back together after someone had gone through it. No one knew who had done it, except possibly me.
“Close the door?” I asked, then motioned for her to sit next to me on the bed. “I have something I have to tell you.” I took a deep breath as I took off my hat.
“Yes, Tim told me about your scaring, and your… stress. Seems like something from your Festenya days?”
“No,” I sniffed. I could feel the tears trying to come through. “Reyhsia… you… you won’t hate me if I lied to you, right?”
“Would I h…? Where would you even get an idea like that? Don’t worry, little bandar. You can tell me anything.”
I tried to hold back the tears. If I could trust anyone to fix it, it had to be Reyhsia. “I didn’t get these scars from living in Festenya. A few months ago, I found a hat exactly like this one. It was the most beautiful thing I had seen since… since my parents died."
"I had been alone for so long, and I just wanted to be pretty again. So I put on that hat.” I could feel the tears on my face. Could hear my blubbering. But she just kept her hand on my back and listened.
“I don’t know what happened after that. Not for a long while. I just have bits and pieces of memories until… until Rowboat tried to kill us. But I know that the hat was walking me around. Pretending to be me. Bringing me here.” I wrapped my arms around her and tried to calm down.
“After Kirino, I finally got free. I didn’t know what to do. We had lied to everybody. I didn’t know…”
“I didn’t want to tell anyone. I thought the hat would go away forever, and maybe I could forget all about it. But… I think it’s back. I'm scared it’s trying to get me again. I don’t want everyone to know I lied, but I don’t want it to come back! I don’t know what to do…” I cried into nonsense. No one said anything for a few moments as she tried to comfort me.
"I never wanted to tell anyone." I finally said again. "Even when everything started happening, I couldn't. But I don't want to hurt anyone, and I might know something that can help. Just... please don't tell anyone it was me, okay?"
"I can't lose everyone again."
