This "Arena" was full of far more curious and suspicious eyes than the typical plane. But someone had escaped the notice of them regardless, so perhaps it was time to take a page from her book. has unlocked Herald of a New Archetype, choosing CovertCovert Scheme(Rather than set this scheme in motion, you may leave it face down. You may look at it and may turn it face up to set it in motion at any time.)(Props to Popcornia for coming up with this and allowing me to use it.)

cajun Hell Hath No Fury: Seems like a badass name for a meeker scheme. 6 is a good number for that tho. 9/10. Bell's face remains unchanged and hardened. "I. Don't. Care. Do anything like this again and I'll gut you like the fish you are." he says. Callie gives a hefty tug on his cloak, before hopping up to his shoulder. The sword and then the man vanish in a burst of lightning, back towards the storm clouds, leaving the woman alone.

Lei Koen stares at the house through the fog, thinking. There is something peculiar about this building. After a long reflection, she creates a replica of the house, directly facing it, but at a good distance from it, so that its shadow will never touch the original. The replica is about six times taller than the original, and made in luminescent aquamarine-hued crystal. Satisfied, she pauses for a moment to admire her creation. "What a curious design," comes a familiar voice from far below. Strange, Aevia had not been there a moment ago.
"Hello again, Lei Koen," she continues. "What marvel are you working on today?"Flattery Will Get You EverywhereOngoing SchemeWhenever a permanent you control becomes the target of a spell or ability you don't control, you may copy that spell or ability. If you do, choose new targets for the copy and abandon this scheme at the beginning of the next end step.
fun fact, that's as long as a name can get on a normal frame without squishing the font Derive - the land mode of this is weird but in color. does feel more like a sorcery than an instant. 9/10Flattery Will Get You Everywhere: Fantastic name. It's probably not very high impact but being an ongoing one makes that probably ok, yes? 9/10
"Ah, dear Aevia. How fortunate to see you again. Observe the structure of that building. There is nothing extremely unusual about it, outwardly. Yet it filled me with an unfamiliar feeling. I thought that in creating a replica of it closer to my style, I could get closer to capturing that feeling, and understanding it. Yet it seems to escape me still. How are you feeling, dear Aevia?"
Unusual Epiphany Instant Put the four cards of your library into your graveyard, then return an instant or sorcery card from your graveyard to your hand.

SchemeWhen you set this scheme in motion, create six 1/1 red Devil creature tokens with "When this creature dies, it deals 1 damage to any target."
OK, finally got time to design the gift (and also a transition prepare for my next color): Hell Hath No Fury - Oh I love this! I run Tibalt in RDW because of the stuff it makes in fact in additional to the static ability. a bit too OP for a scheme though, maybe 4 is the max. 7/10 (wanted an 8 but it's kinda broken)
When Januti entered the room, he saw a nice gift box on the table. He opened it, and inside were 6 cute little devils that dspite it's name, are more like pets. "Thank you, whoever sent this! I miss the days working with someone alongside me!" Note: Some may wonder why has the house not burn down yet, and the reason is that Januti reinforced the house with Aether the day he got the keys. "Wait, here? Why not go to that other house instead? It's a lot nicer and much less creepy."
I look down. The Pattern drifts through the pages of my world, reshaping the very building blocks of my reality to speak with me. I think I see place of power, greatest of conduits... the number 26?Someday, I might understand the divine's will. But for now, I must settle for having faith that it knows what it's doing.I step forward and knock on the door. Please don't hurt me, okay? The house is in poor condition. A thin layer of ice seems to line the edges of the door. Your knocks are only met with silence. The place seems to be abandoned. I'm sure no one would mind if you let yourself in...Keep Your Enemies CloseOngoing Scheme When you set this scheme in motion and at the beginning of your upkeep, gain control of target permanent you don't control unless its controller pays , where X is that permanent's converted mana cost. If they do, abandon this scheme. A Taste of Power - huh. would have had no idea where to put this effect, but the 8 mana red chaos mythic seems the perfect slot for it. 9/10

cajun Keep Your Enemies Close: I initially thought this was abandoned once it gains control of a permanent, but it looks like it's actually abandoned when your opponent pays it off? I like the first interpretation much better, since it always takes control of exactly one thing. As written, it could be either completely useless or brutally oppressive depending on the circumstances. 8/10.I look again at the pages. The Pattern is gone. Guess I'll have to figure this one out on my own.I stow the World Book, carefully push the door open, and walk inside. "Hello? Anyone home? No? (Doer, a cold cat) We approach the woman. "Hello, meowstress. Meow and meow brother, we were wondering, do you know why is so cold here? Seems unnatural, for this time of the year." "Well my little friends, that would be what the gods refer to as 'a little joke,'" she leans down closer to the cats, and the air grows colder still. "Follows me around, everywhere I go." The ice of the door puts up a small bit of resistance, but cracks and allows the door to open. There is not much to the house, seeming to be only a single room. Blank pages are spread across the floor. A spool of rope sits on the floor in the corner. Near the window, horseshoes surround a slumped over figure in a heavy robe. It's another lonely night around this mysterious house. Specifically, it's the night after Xander and Bell have spoken. A crash of thunder rumbles in the distance, before rapidly approaching the building.
As the crashes and thunderclaps get louder and louder, in a random instant, three full on lightning bolts crash at the door, full impact. Nothing and no one impedes the lightning's path. The weak door splinters to the bolts, and the ice sealing it melts to the sudden heat.
It seems no one is coming to investigate, yet.Show Me What You Can DoCovert Scheme (Rather than set this scheme in motion, you may leave it face down. You may look at it and may turn it face up to set it in motion at any time.)
When you set this scheme in motion, until your next turn, whenever a source deals damage to you or a permanent you control, draw a card. Lightning Crash - think we're undercosted by one-two here ( Shower of Coals and Pinnacle of Rage, and sort of Furious Reprisal) 7/10
