Hannah leans into me, but I was barely keeping myself up. We fall, but she doesn't let go."Whoops, sorry. Are you alright?" The question stings more than the fall."I'm not alright," I finally whimper, "and I don't know if I can feel better.""Every time I try..." And you, little one, have managed to practically fight yourself free. "I think I can be happy..." Are you kidding me, Karina? I'm so proud of you.
"And then..." Don’t worry, little bandar. You can tell me anything.
"I can't do it anymore. I think I just wasn't supposed to be happy. Maybe if I stopped trying, maybe it will stop hurting, too."
Somewhere in the void, I hear a voice.
Karina. I'm so...y. I ma... a mista...e and you su...ered.
But it's not your fau...t. It w...s NEVER your fault.
Ple...e. I hope y... he...r me.
I couldn't hold back the tears anymore.
I was so desperate that now I was lying to myself.
No.
More.
Lies.
Aiden was dead.
Now, are you going to chase after him?
Or... You've made my life a million times better than it was. Thank you, Karina.
What do you say?
I won't let anything happen to me.
Should we give it another try?
"...I'm sorry. You've done so much, and I'm just... thank you, Hannah." I try to rub the tears out of my eyes. "For yesterday, for today, for listening to me," I forced a small laugh, "and for not listening to me." I took a deep breath to try to calm down. "I just don't know what to do anymore. It feels like everything I do is wrong."
Karina Legendary Creature - Human Karina gets +1/+1 for each loyalty counter on her. [+1]: Choose another target creature or planeswalker. Put a +1/+1 counter on it if it's a creature and a loyalty counter on it if it's a planeswalker. [-3]: Double the number of each kind of counter on any number of other target permanents. 2/2
Karina has spent 100 Valor and unlocked white mana please, don't make me regret it.Refuse the Inevitable - hmmm. i think the ultima cost checks out? seems to sit between glorious end and time stop fairly well 9/10an ear for gurfafflekins 's messenger, a legend for WindyDelcarlo 's ultima

I need something to say. There's gotta be something to say.// For the first time in this entire conversation, Hannah doesn't immediately have something relevant to say. She instead rolls off to one side of Karina, making sure to keep her arms around her friend as she keeps eye level with the grounded Karina. "Hey, you don't need to feel like everything you do is wrong. For tonight, I'm protecting you, okay? I'm not gonna let anything hurt you, and I'm not gonna let anything hurt me, so you can focus on sleeping and remembering that you do lots of right things."// Hannah yawns. She did promise she was going to get some sleep tonight. Maybe she intends to protect her friend in her sleep, or things the strength of her hug is going to be protection enough. Or maybe she didn't think this "protecting" plan through.Karina no-title-chosen. A planeswalker and a creature! Kind of. So the first turn she's a 3/3 that puts a counter on a thing, then next turn becomes a 4/4 that's put another counter on a thing? I think, like planeswalkers, the + should probably be choosing up to one other target, so that she's not a vanilla 2/2 on an empty board. 8/10 Warm Protection Instant If target creature would die this turn, instead return it to its owner's hand. When you do, it deals damage equal to its power to any target.

Warm Protection Instant If target creature would die this turn, instead return it to its owner's hand. When you do, it deals damage equal to its power to any target. "Okay," I swallow the tears. I was still nervous about her helping me. It kept ending so badly. But what could go wrong in one night? "Okay." She yawns and I catch myself doing the same. "I don't deserve it, but, thank you. I... I don't want to be alone. I just want my friends to stop getting hurt because of me."Quiet Reflection Instant Until end of turn, target creature gets +2/+0 and gains lifelink and "When this creature leaves the battlefield, discard up to two cards, then draw twice that many cards." Warm Protection - An inverted fling, very cool. Or, hot. Whichever : p The blue here feels out of color since this reads like a white or black reanimate but it is a Rescue so it's legit. (also this is more of a mental reanimate so, blue works out there) 9/10

Karina: As cool as this is story wise and flavor wise, loyalty counters don't belong on creatures for a numerous number of reasons. Though, that being said, it's a neat dual response. 8/10.
She could feel a smile in the air.
As she was hugged by Hannah, a faint figure of Aiden as a spirit appeared in Karina's vision. His mouth did not move from it's gentle smile, but his voice echoed in her ears.
Don't worry Karina. Always remember to focus on the good times in the tough times.
You've got this, kid.
The apparition would fade as soon as it appeared.

"Don't worry," I say with a smile. I can feel myself start to doze off. Karina's warmth doesn't help me stay awake, and neither do the hours of sleep I lost last night. "I can't leave you alone like that. I promise."
//Hannah has fallen asleep without releasing Karina.
Wow, Quiet Reflection wants to use Warm Protection to its fullest, huh? Perfectly fine, absolutely is blowing someone out. 10/10

//Hannah has fallen asleep without releasing Karina. I couldn't shake the fear that something was waiting to happen. But Hannah wasn't going to give up. Not until she realized I was right.
I tried to ignore the thought. No one's getting hurt anymore. Not if I can help it.
And when you can't...
She faced a dragon. She saved you from this room. She stood up to an officer and a soldier, just trying to help you. What else do you think you can you throw at her? Don't worry.
I tried to ignore the fight in my head. I didn't need that again. It didn't matter. What mattered is she was here now. While it lasted, this was nice.
As I started to drift to sleep, I heard it.Don't worry Karina. Always remember to focus on the good times in the tough times.

(A few hours after the Nightmare...)
"...Next, we're going to see how you see these events. Understanding your view of what happened is the first step towards recovering from it. MAY THE GLORY OF THE SUN BURN AWAY ALL DECEPTION AND LEAVE ONLY THE TRUTH!"
"...If you feel you're able, can you tell me about how you met the magic hat? What you knew while... you had it?"
It was getting early on Festenya. The shops were closing up as light starting creeping back into the long Festenian night. A small child wandered down the road, wearing ill-fitting clothes, tattered and torn from living outside.
The orphan crept over to the bakery, trying to look into the window and almost leaping back when she met a face instead of muffins. She looked back at the face in the window. Sad eyes underlined by purple skin met her gaze. The child in the window was covered in scrapes, her hair was a dirty mess, her once beautiful clothes ruined. She could barely recognize herself.
She heard the baker yelling and ran, tearing past the partygoers and performers and a man selling funny hats, then ducked into an alley and waited for the noise to stop. She found a hard piece of bread. It looked like a rat had taken a bite and decided it wasn't that hungry. She took a bite and decided she was.
When she finally crept back out from the shadows, the street was empty. She looked around, and a bright red shape caught her eye. The man with funny hats seemed to have left one behind. It was bold, clean, beautiful... everything she wished she could be again. She checked the street again, then ran and swiped the hat.
She walked back to the bakery window and held up the hat. She gave a small smile, then quickly frowned and looked around like she had done something wrong. After a moment of silence, she looked back to the reflection and put on the hat. She let herself smile for a moment before she suddenly fell asleep.
Her dreams were strange, and felt longer than dreams really should be. A devil offered her a job, then bought her ice cream. Some old lady she had never met tried to teach her to read. A robot started screaming. The child woke up as their face was driven into the ground. She can't tell what's happening through all the noise, and she can't move. A friendly voice cuts through it.
"Hey, intern, are you okay? Do you know if you were the target, or just in the wrong place at the wrong time?"
Her eyes look to the voice. She isn't sure why, but she knows the answer. "Target," she wheezes, before falling back to sleep.
"I... I wanted to be happy again. But I wasn't allowed to. I thought that after so long, maybe I didn't have to be sad anymore. I was so stupid."
"When it was over, and I had a family, had a home, had a friend again, I thought maybe it was finally over. I could be normal. But every time I try to be happy again... Hannah and Reyhsia almost died. The hat came back. Aiden did die."
"Hannah tried to convince me I was wrong. And she almost did, right until she had the nightmare and almost killed me too."
She stopped for a minute, not sure if she wanted to say what was on her mind. "Everything good that's ever happened to me is because the hat did it for me." Her face dropped as she heard the words.

It'll still be a couple days ofcharging and testing, but after that, we can go wheneveryou're ready! Also, you should come over for dinner tonight! /Apparently/I wasn't paying attention and my favorite restaurant inEntela set up over here, really exciting! My transceiver chirped as a message from Hannah came in. I turned from my 7CI work to the list of Volarian words Hannah had given me to help use the keyboard. After way too long of looking at words and trying to read them, I finally find 'hold' and decide it's good enough. As I switch back to respond to the message, I realize Hannah just sent me a whole bunch of useful words already, and use as many of them as I can instead.tonight Karina hold dinner Hannah couple days Karina finished world-travel testing after that we Aether Tunneler's ^-^Interplanar Network Artifact Whenever you cast a spell, if you didn't cast it from your hand, copy it. You may choose new targets for the copy. "A few years ago, a person on another plane was impossible to reach. Now you can talk to them in mere seconds."Moments Away - neat time warp, being able to cast it as regular warp off an impulse draw is cool (tho if there was more benefit to it that would've been my card :b) - 9/10
so this might be a bit weird for people who saw this messageduring Hatmom, Karina only knew the command "Interplanar Communications, Contact", which doesn't work under a NOPE. She figured out how to use the texting feature, which does work. However, it doesn't actually make sense for the Planeswalker spark to translate a keyboard, so we've ruled Karina sent a bunch of gibberish, promoting Hannah to do a regular "Contact" (which does work under a NOPE) and got the same message. This means Karina is working with some extremely basic Volarian on the texts as she tries to learn it (amechra I am getting to the new memory I just need to figure out what I'm doing)

The detective looked like he'd been finishing bottles more than cases lately. I walk up close as he fails to talk me up.

The detective's mind whirled with info once she got her hand on his cheek. Previous cases, knowledge, Haloster, Vivien, Yuriel, more solved cases, Ravnica, Nore, Innistrad - how did he remember so much? Thoughts of realization also sprang to the forefront of his mind, mixed with a tiny flash of anger at being called Skylar. -- My face remained in a smirk as she called me out. I dropped my cigarette and crushed it under my heel, as I tended to do, it having burnt out. "Really now? Why would you say that, dame?" I asked her, theories evolving in my mind. I'd dealt with it all - spies, mind readers, technology that could pry into your skull and your mind. Let's find out which one you are. "Last I checked, we haven't bumped gums before." I put a hand on her hip as she put one on my cheek, my other hand still in my coat pocket.
"And I'd remember a face like yours."Loaded Question Sorcery Tap target creature, then investigate X times, where X is that creature's power. That creature doesn't untap during it's controller's next untap step. "What're you doing here?! I told you to stay out of this!"
-- Yet something was still withheld from her, deep in his head. But with one right tug, it would all come crashing down - and Mei could feel that. Complicate Evidence: Even with Crafty Cutpurse, this feels sorta bad. The Cutpurse comes with a body for double the mana, but usually this is a draw spell, and being able to yoink any potential token threat for doesn't feel right, or even investigating once. 7/10. Yoinking tokens like that is just something wizards shouldn't have done, honestly. (Though I may be biased as a token player/collector) Translations: bump gums - small talk

Rolt's mind is beginning to give way. Seems even the strong have their weak points. The thought began to surface. -- I smirk at her. "Well, I'm afraid I have forgotten you. Though it's probably for the best." I say, as I feel my deep memories surface, looking her in the eyes. My eyes must've flashed blue for a second as she searched my head and I whispered one word.--There's only one thought at the end of the chain she's pulled. It's Rolt, looking at a piece of paper - the piece of paper has one word written on it on a deep blue ink: Gotcha.Runes go up in my mind, blocking any deeper access to Mei - basic things like his name and unimportant details remain available. A force begins battling her even on the outskirts of his mind. -- "You seem like a real dangerous type."

This should deal 30 damage to you at least (14 Call to Aid spells, 2 from Geistblast, another 14 from Geistblast copying my spell). Doing all this after every one of your Call to Aids and in response to your card. Sensory Overload: Oh neat, storm card with choices on every storm. Huh. My concerns are evidently, the storm scale, and just the variety of choice this brings to storming off, and like you said is another mill potential as well as the other one in modern storm and what not. 7/10. Mana cost says probably okay but I don't know. But I do like the Call to Aids and such, really gets the flavor through so take 9/10.

I smirked at her. "Maybe that'll teach you to keep out of where you don't belong." I said confidently during the screams, before realizing there was another voice. It seems we are not the only watchers in secret. Very well, we will help.
You seem like you'd be a good student, wouldn't you? Afraid not, teach, I'm the teacher. "You mind-readers and your demons." I muttered, kneeling down in front of her where I shot her. I looked at the wound - didn't go all the way through and it was lodged inside. Didn't have time for a proper surgery, obviously, battling the voices in my mind and the terrible screeching of her in front of me. Suddenly, the silver bullet shot out of her and landed on the ground, and her skin started to mend. What the Hell?Ominous Retrieval Sorcery Gain control of target nonequipment, noncreature artifact or nonaura, noncreature enchantment until end of turn. Untap that artifact or enchantment. It gains " , sacrifice this permanent: Draw a card." until end of turn. Swift fingers are child's play compared to a swift mind. That is one task done, on to the next.Tactical Imperator
Ominous Mending Instant Untap target creature. It gets +0/+3 until end of turn. Fear not - You are saved. For now.And now it is your time. What the Hell was going on? The voices in my head were drowning out my own, and there was no time to think - I put up more runes in my mind, trying to keep anything out, and trying to expel what was within.
Rolt's not doing it, but it's on his paycheck. How rude, taking credit for our work.Tavathi's Domain: Seems like the kind of Expropriate levels of bullshit design. Seems fine. Doesn't really feel black though - blue is more yoinky and black is more killy. 8/10.

I said confidently during the screams, before realizing there was another voice. You seem like you'd be a good student, wouldn't you? It seems we are not the only watchers in secret.; Very well, we will help.I heard a echo of a whisper. I get a second to prepare for something to rip the silver slug from Put on the hat. The pain recedes back Put. On. The. Hat. just dying instead of silver poisoning. And yet I must put on the hat. I reach for it.
My other hand grabs it to stop it. Put. On. Don't. I had something for this. THE. HAT. I reach for the mist around me, knowing if I didn't put on the hat we were all going to die. My hat touches the lovely fabric. I could take a second to put it on.
No. NO. The device. I pull the smoke instead of the lifesaving hat. Your stupid sword. If you put on the hat, you could find it faster. I pull at the hat mist again and again. Finally I hear the invisible gadget clatter to the ground. That is one task done, on to the next. The echoes are relieving the pain. It's not too late to put on the hat and stop them. I feel around at the ground, feeling every dying second tick by as I scramble for the device that will seal my doom. My hand clicks the button.Nullifier of Planar Energy Artifact Flash When Nullifier of Planar Energy enters the battlefield, opponents can't cast spells this turn. , Sacrifice Nullifier of Planar Energy: Opponents can't cast spells this turn. And now it is your time. For the first time in years, there is silence. Maybe that will teach you to... wait. Where are you, Skylar?
"Well now what did you go and do that for?" I croaked to the detective. "I thought we were having fun."
Mei, the Interdicted Legendary Creature - Human Rogue Flash , : Return target nonland card from your graveyard to your hand. Mei, the Interdicted gets -X/-X until end of turn, where X is that card's converted mana cost. 2/1
"Hey, do you know where Hanska lives? I really need to get this bullet wound dealt with before that happens again."
Giving you a useful thing to retrieve, and a helpful ability to meddle with :^) Ominous Retrieval - ew. my first thought is this is fine to steal Auras/Equips. my second is this is "Destroy target artifact or enchantment" except better in blue (and also it cantrips to boot). not a fan of this one. 6.5/10Ominous Meddling - much more reasonable, might even be swingable at U but this is safe. 9.5/10->average 8/10

I look at her as she hits the button. I feel my connection to the Eternities severed - what the Hell? Luckily I had no intention of Planeswalking. I pulled out a bandage from my coat pocket, starting to wrap it around her stomach to stop the bleeding. "You're right, I should've seen where that went." I said, smirking. As dangerous as that clearly was, I found myself intrigued to where that would've lead. "And I do - I was there just yesterday. Let's make sure you don't end up in a Ravnican coffin." I said. I grab her hand in mine, trying to offer support so she could stand. "Grab your hat and let's go."We cannot see in! What is this device? We see all around them but nothing where they should be!Generous Offer Instant Any player may have Generous Offer deal 3 damage to them. If no one does, deal 3 damage to target creature or planeswalker. "Oh, but it is generous, darling! I give you so many choices on how I could kill him." - Haloster to VivienThis does not please us."By the way, what's that tech you have? Seems like it's worth a fair amount of scratch, and dangerous to boot."Nullifier of Planar Energy: Worse Silence but on a flash artifact and can do it twice. Seems alright, but at the same time, sorta weak? 8/10. Me and my dumbass can't read - better Silence because each opponent, for more mana, with the same on a sac ability for one more. 9/10, still feels a little weak but pretty neat. Mei, the Interdicted: I can appreciate a flash 2/1 for 2. Even with black, blue doesn't get target card, and black rarely gets it from the yard - maybe this would work better as two abilities, where one targets certain types and the other some others? And also, this is basically sacrificing it for one card, which is sort of low impact for a legendary creature and has no real reason to be legendary. 6/10. Average: 7.5/10 --> 8/10.

I tried to dispel my sword back to the fog. Nothing. Right. No Tavathi means no spells. Alright hat, time to make yourself useful. I gather what I can into it and stuff it under my arm. One hand in his, the other on the sword. Good enough.
"Oh, that? Something a friend made. Cuts off extraplanar stuff around you. That uh, voice you probably heard there. That's in my head. All the time. Has been for about eight years now. That tech shuts him up for a few minutes. That's worth more than whatever I could sell it for."

I nodded.W"No problem.HAnd sorry for pumping you full of silver,Ebut really you didn't leave me many options on that front."RHelping her up, I kept her steady as we walked towards Hanska's.ECuts off extraplanar energy...Ahopefully Haloster never gets his hands on that.RI had too many questions.EWhat force drove the bullet out of her? What was healing her? And why was it doing that?YI had a feeling this would be a difficult egg to crack. Luckily I had already finished figuring out what happened to that soldier. If she didn't leave this God-forsaken place I'll have to ask her some questions to try and figure out what happened."I guess if I had a bing in my head all the time I might've tried to do what you did too. Off to the venom-dame's.(Tune in later to figure out how he solved Aiden's death, over on my battle board! This is totally not shameless self-promotion.) Tavathi's Spawn: Nice response, feels like Dralnu, Lich Lord on the whole damage taking front. Seems alright, good that it's not a replacement. My inner EDH says it'd find a spot somewhere there, too. 10/10.

Scene after scene flashes before Pidge's eyes:
"Ah, Mr. Ker, we've been expecting you. If you'd fill out these forms detailing precisely what was purchased and for how much... Reyhsia is in no condition to talk to you, I'm afraid, but if you'd like to share what the hat said to you we'd be happy to pass it on... Yes, now sign there and there... Now, before we reimburse you, there's a few things we need to talk about regarding your mercantile business. You sold something quite dangerous to someone with ill intent, and people died because of it—and this isn't the first time it's happened, though you're probably not aware of it. When you bring weapons to a plane that far surpass what's normally present there, when you sell an item that revolutionizes a plane's magical paradigm... people get hurt. And whether you see it or not, you're responsible, and we're the ones trying to clean up the mess you've left. Now, we're not trying to drive you out of business—we just want you to be a bit more careful. Don't sell things too much more technologically or magically advanced than what's available locally. We've got more detailed plane-specific guidelines we'd be happy to provide you with—you might even find some new markets for your goods in the process! Oh, and we'd really prefer you not sell to anyone on this list. We keep track of people with bad intentions on a Multiversal scale—you seem like a good guy, you wouldn't want to be responsible for someone committing a planar genocide with your wares. Well, here's your payment. I presume Ravnican Zibs are acceptable?"
LOUD"Hey Lumen, can you hear me?" comes a voice from what seems to be inside Lumen's hat. Before he can find a speaker, a headsplitting screech erupts from the hat. Lumen can feel the artifice holding him together yield under the impossibly loud noise. FIREThe hallway is unusually quite as Lyfaen walks down it with, the kitsune carrying a paintbrush in one hand and a bottle of blood in the other. The short fox paints out the message on the wall, then looks directly at the sensor and winks. The brush and bottle vanish, replaced by a glowing orange ball that is thrown into the room. The kitsune follows into the room that's already starting to burn, then disappears from the sensors. As far as the sensors can tell, they did not planeswalk. NOPEA loud crack is the only warning Arina gets before the her internal energy is scrambled. The mysterious device she had given to Reyhsia has found its way back, this time with a nastier upgrade.
Atmospheric aether: Low and falling. Access to planar energy: Nope. Hannah: Not looking so good. NOPEEverything was on the line. Today, she had a friend, a safe place to stay. But what would happen if the truth slipped? Would she be shipped back home? Would she be able to stay? Would she be any good as an agent without the hat?
The questions plagued her mind, but few as much as the thought of the hat being back, and on someone scarier than she was.
She finally stood up. Reyhsia had left a while ago, promising to keep her secret, but help as much as she could as well. She just had to trust her. Karina put on some of Hanska's medicine, the cool ointment combating the dull pain.
She picked up the Trick Hat. "Soon I won't need you anymore. Then maybe I can get someone to disenchant you and give Reyhsia her hat back."
She froze. Reyhsia had been wearing her hat. Had been for several days.
"It's... it's probably nothing right? Anyone can have two hats," she tried to convince herself as she walked to the door. "I'll just find her and get this all straightened out..." The door wouldn't move. She tried again, harder. Nothing.
"No. No. NO. NO!" she yelled as she beat on the door with all her might. The door didn't budge.
If anyone noticed, no one came to investigate. The words she chokes out get weaker and weaker as the last vestiges of mana are eaten by the NOPE. The door makes a hopeful noise, but slides back into place. NOPEReyhsia’s face drops. She took too big a gamble. Maybe we should have just killed the kid. “Wrong answer,” she growls. The room goes pitch dark. Hana can see a small sparkle of lightning as Reyhsia draws her sword and points it at her face.
Chaos spreads across the Arena, but for now, all Hana hears is the click of a device cutting off her access to the Blind Eternities and chewing through the mana in the room.
“Now, would you like to tell me what we know, or should I take what’s left of that little head of yours?” Her eyes flicker. She won't say. The sword flashes. The cyborg jumps. A glancing blow.
She turns to follow the lightning fast cyborg. Aukashi flashes. Two bullets fire.
The sword wins.
The first bullet catches Reyhsia in that scar. The body recoils, and the bullet aimed at her head flies through empty space. The cyborg clatters to the ground, nearly in two pieces from the damage of the two blows.
Well. We weren't going to be able to hitch a ride here anymore.
Reyhsia sat down and pulled up the cyborg's head to her hat. It had never attempted to hold two minds before, but it was a day of firsts already.
The connection was weak. The cyborg was dying. It could only learn a little.
She didn't know.
Reyhsia stumbled out of the room, the bullet wound open for all to see. NOPEDr. Arueth, meanwhile, is having an altogether bad day. His room's door won't open. He can't planeswalk—Interdicted, presumably, which would explain why he's cut off from his mana. It would not explain why he's also cut off from the Glorious Sun, since in his prior testing with Varrs that connection remained through an Interdiction. He can't ask for help via his computer, because it's busy informing him about the traitor in the midst of the Initiative. And something is exploding just down the hall. NOPE Pidge wakes up. A few phrases echo in her mind.
"You sold something quite dangerous to someone with ill intent, and people died because of it—and this isn't the first time it's happened, though you're probably not aware of it." "... people get hurt. And whether you see it or not, you're responsible..." "You wouldn't want to be responsible for someone committing a planar genocide with your wares."
Outside, she sees a small tear in the sky. Through it, she can see a strange space; patterns of light and darkness whirling incomprehensibly. She knows, instinctively, that it holds awful secrets within.

A bunch of scrolls in a glass bottle mysteriously appear in Sevid's bakery one night. The bottle is damp to the touch and corked. Sevid eyed the bottle suspiciously. There had been some strange things going on as of late. Probably one of Pidge's jokes, she thought to herself. At least make sure I'm armed for this one though...Sevid uncorked the bottle and attempts to read the scrolls, ready with her sword if anything went awry. Sevid Fese, Muffin Extraordinaire Legendary Creature - Elf Wizard Whenever you scry, you gain that much life. , , Sacrifice a permanent: Scry 3, then draw a card. "Never underestimate the surveillance power of a good meal."2/3Mysterious Message - not a big fan of twobrid, but this pulls it off pretty well. 9/10Sevid Fese, Muffin Extraordinaire: Extraordinaire name. Mechanically this looks good: I'm not really used to sacrificing permanents like that but I think it can be in colour. 9/10 But nothing went awry. The scrolls turned out to be maps. Specifically, watercolour depictions of various portions of the hydrography of the Arena: rivers, lakes... Each map had a signature on the back: "By Hyle Seritani ". On the back of one of them, in addition to said signature, there was a pencil sketch, seemingly an half-finished portrait of some sort of mermaid. She was smiling.

A confused look covered the elf's face for a moment as she looked over the scrolls, then melted into a smile as she recognized what they were. Ever since liberating the Atlas, she had been leaving this part of the maps behind. The artistry, the love of the land, the spreading of knowledge. The maps floated around the bakery, attaching themselves to the walls next to, and sometimes covering, the maps already there. Splashes of color covered the walls that had been brown since she got here. Cartographer's Signature Artifact : Choose a basic land type. Each land you control becomes that type in addition to its other types until end of turn. "Every realmstitcher's got their mark. Mine's perfection. Looks like yours is beauty.""Hyle Seritani, huh? Wonder if she's one of those walking-around mermaids. That bottle got here somehow after all."
hrm, dunno if the density quite justifies the instant on Flow of Ideas, but then again Flow of Ideas was never the splashiest of draw spells :^) 8/10
