Thanks, but none of those are what I need. I need it for a "destroy artifact/enchantment" spell, not just "here's treasure, look at it in aw!" Phantasm: still not really a fan of this Madness: sure Card comments: Immortal Mythology could be 3 or even 2 mana (you need to cast 2+ spells off of it for it to be worth even three mana, and it's hard to set up) Surreal Nightmare is quite a bomb- a beefy body with evasion that dodges removal that removes a creature on ETB, and turning all your dead cards into removal spells is massive Regal Siren needs an ability cost and/or stat adjustment, compare Courtly ProvocateurIt needs some way to enable madness, while at the same time doing something that white cares about. Immortal Mythology might be okay as a 3 CMC. 2 is too much given the potential to build around. Sounds like Surreal Nightmare would work as intended. Soft "No" on redoing the siren's ability - Courtly Provocateur didn't justify enough to be printed outside of M13, especially whenever cards like Shipwreck Siren exist that explore how to repeat this effect and expand on it Getting a singular creature to attack is a narrow boon, and for blocking there's always Provoke (which is underwhelming enough of an effect that it's a 9 on the Storm Scale now all because outright fighting the provoked creature instead is more concise). The cost for repeating the effect is having to have had another discard effect independent of the card, and, for the best effect on the card, an extra W mana each time. Wording comments: I think the "into" should be capitalized in All into the Depths? Mistform Phantom needs to specify "under its owner's control" ( Otherworldly Journey) "Into" should not be capitalized unless we want to crank the drama up to 11 (See: Descent into Madness). Mistform Phantom is a yes on the wording change. Immortal Mythology's replacement effect is fine. (See: Abandoned Sarcophagus). I think the nuance comes from if that's all there is to the ability or not. Anyway, just so everything's fair, I have some comments for your cards as well. {Spoiler} Cathus, the Unfathomable - This card's effect needs a bit of clarification. Typically copying an instant or sorcery card (as opposed to something like copying a creature card like Arcane Artisan) also follows through with the player not paying the copy's mana cost, so that it doesn't run into an issue with a copy of an instant or sorcery spell existing without being able to be cast (See: Eye of the Storm). What's more subtle than that though is that you chose to make the effect repeatable with any instant or sorcery it might have exiled, in the same colors as Windfall and Wheel of Fortune. While it's not likely to happen that somebody is going to put in a wheel effect, Descent of the Horde practically wins the game once it's exiled, and March of the Arisen is going to give you a repeatable +2 net advantage over a player for either 4 or 2 (depending on if you go with making the sorcery for free or not). Also, it would be 500% better if you made it a Spellshaper.Faltering Will/Guardian of the Throne - Not certain why Faltering Will is legendary other than the "legendary matters" theme. For Guardian of the Throne, if you want to reach a certain count of legendary permanents, you could probably make this one take its place. Currently, there are no nonlegendary cards that create legendary tokens, and it would give your players a legendary even if they get screwed on fixing. The Record of Calamities - This is probably the most subtle "Legendary matters" card in the set. Brakul, Arisen’s Hand - Two of these end 1-on-1 games. Cast Brakul A (BA). Opponent discards 1 card. Cast Brakul B (BB). Opponent discards 2 cards (3). Legendary rule causes you to sac BA. BA enters from undying. Opponent discards 2 cards (5). Legendary rule triggers again - sacrifice BB. BB returns. Opponent discards 2 cards (7). Sacrifice either and enjoy your 3/3 while your opponent discarded their hand. Halux, Unknowable’s Hand - If the effect cares about another legendary creature, then this card doesn't really need to be a legendary itself. If the power was dropped to 1, this would work perfectly well as a twist on Omenspeaker. Unlike the other one, this one isn't broken by being legendary via doing that same trick as above, it's just kinda weird. It works, but it's weird. Arrival of the Unknowable - I think this card could be decent if it costed 1 generic more. Once you have players encouraged to draft it with legendary creatures, it's going to on average be a Disperse with a bolt to the face, which is a bit strong since it chooses which creatures may get returned, or which creatures are going to deal damage to face, so there's obvious reverse-psychology that can be used to play this for value. March of the Arisen - Similar issue, except the only time you're not getting value here is if somehow you've let your opponent get 3 more cards in hand than you. Concentrate is already a decent card, but it doesn't need the 2 generic knocked off by an effect directly on the card (or the easier fix for casting). Favorite card: Unknowable Devourer - Simple, but a great turn 2 play that can grow in power and keep up in tempo if you drop a Halux or The Record of Calamities, all while still working outside of the "legendary matters" subtheme.

Took another look and struggled to find something matching that, but if you’re willing to settle for burning/destroyed ships: Apologies for the wording advice mistakes, and thank you for your own feedback, especially on Cathus, Brakul (and by extension Wrath, who also has that issue), and the uncommon choice cards. It’s tough to tell how difficult getting a legendary permanent will be taking all the minisets into account, which is why I figured I’d go overboard with it (including Guardian at common). A couple responses: Cathus: changed anyway bc I was trying to avoid just casting removal for the rest of the game, but the copying was taking from the new KefnetRecord: that was completely unintentional, unfortunately, but I’ll take credit for it anyway :^)

For Cathus: I ran a search for anything currently on Gatherer that makes a copy and didn't find anything that really does that, so it looks like Kefnet is a space they're exploring, so the methodology is fair enough (also there's something to be said about Prerelease for WAR with a legendary Zombie God being the same week as Easter). My concerns about the balance of the card remain, though. I think Wrath might be fine, but that's a "need a second opinion on this." Doing a point of damage with repeat is painful, but it's nowhere near as devastating as discarding a card, so that's about 7 damage split up if you get two of them out. It's powerful, but not as gamebreaking as the discard. Anyway, I'll update my original post. For notifications' sake, though, here's the dropbox file. I hope you guys like 3CMC spells.

Yeah, Cathus still got a change (ability now grants "flashback"). If you haven't tried Scryfall before it has new cards early and (imo) much better syntax/searching tools. As an aside, I just realized the legendary combos get "only" 6 of their effect (though 6 is still enough to be broken with Brakul and powerful with Wrath) Wrath A (WA) has no +1/+1 counter on it. It has dealt 1 damage Cast Wrath B (WB). It enters the battlefield, and its trigger is put on the stack STACK: WB ETB Statebased actions are checked before the trigger resolves, and you kill WA. STACK: WB ETB < WA Undying WA enters the battlefield and triggers. You kill WB. STACK: WB ETB < WA ETB < WB Undying WB enters the battlefield, and you kill WB to maximize damage. STACK: WB ETB (2 damage) < WA ETB (1 damage) < WB ETB (2 damage) so 5 damage total, plus the 1 from WA's initial ETB.
This is very potent but likely not broken. Brakul is still 6 cards, which I would like to avoid (now this would recur 6 creatures, which is close to absurd levels but doesn't lock your opponent out of the game). New file and changelog Version 1.1various FT and mainframing changes Brakul- now gravediggers (1 to 2) instead of discards, is now 5cmc (still 2/2) Cathus- a spell you control. ability is now "flashback" Keepers- changed a lot (was BR arcun wew) Arrival- up to two March- 5cmc Record- card type Anyway, I'll update my original post. A few more minor comments: Prolonged Interrogation: there's no precedent for this so it's pretty subjective, but I think it would be cleaner as "Choose a noncreature, nonland card from it, then choose another one of those cards if ~ was kicked. That player discards all cards chosen this way." Night Sea's Contemplation: this doesn't really feel white, if I had to guess the colors I'd guess GB or UG Scavenger's Vessel: do you have the Vehicle frame? I think it's in cajun's downloads Mindful Geist: vigilance shouldn't be capitalized Undead Bonecrew: most easily recurred creatures have something that makes them difficult to get back or repeatably block with them, or have weak stats ( Sanitarium Skeleton). this might be fine as-is, though

As far as kicker wording goes, I'm using the precedent set up by Bog Down, Sadistic Sacrament, and the like. It's cleaner to write under your wording, but the kicker effect replacement being at the end makes it clear to understand. Night Sea's Comptemplation was white because of the shuffle effect, but looking at it now that seems to be more G/B territory. I'll change that to exile a graveyard instead, since having an instant speak shutdown to reanimation is always fun. No, I don't have the vehicle frame. Updated the casing. Undead Bonecrew I'm open to changing the P/T on, since this card's being difficult to balance. Surreal Nightmare demonstrated the raw power of Phantasm (turning dead cards in hand to repeated ETB effects while enabling discard), but this card's meant to do something else - demonstrate the different interactions associated with it. The mechanic does four things - it causes a permanent to be removed from the battlefield, it causes a permanent card to be placed in the player's hand, it causes a card to be discarded, and it causes a permanent to be in the graveyard. All of that seems simple, until you realize that this means doing something like casting Mistform Phantom to bounce a guy, then return it to hand with a payment of discarding All into the Depths, activating its madness for 5 and discarding the phantom to make everyone else lose a card while you get your bounced creature back. I want a black common to bridge some of those interactions in a way that makes cohesive sense while filling in some of the holes that the rest of my designs didn't use, so something with returning to hand from graveyard seems like the best choice. The problem is that I'm at a loss for which mechanic I want to add to the creature as well that makes it worth playing. while keeping it at common. I'll give that one a bit more thought before I update the file. I'm tired right now though, and turning in for the night.

augur {Spoiler}{Responses} Cards:Spirit Possession: Upped to +2/+1. Not all cards need to be on the same level as each other though, even if similar. Spirit Warden: Looking at Suture Priest and others similar, I'll leave it at 1/1. Diabolic Imp: Evasion at Deathtouch plus a -1/-1 counter feels too good at 2/2. Dunno. I'll leave it as is. Infernal Clergywoman: I feel it's an acceptable bend. If there's enough outcry, I'll change it, but as is it's not a big deal for me. Devilish Summoner: It's an imp summoning his imp buddy. Sometimes it takes teamwork! Ritual Dagger: Probably not. Cut that. Decrepit Chapel: Enters untapped, looking at High Market, looks fine to me. Market is gaining life - this is adding mana. Wording: Speaker: I thought I was doing that. Oops. ", it deals": I knew something felt off about it. Forgot things could reference itself like that in this case. Changed. I'd offer you feedback but personally I'm trying to stay a little blind to all the things before they're all released - I like the surprise. NEW FILE: Here it is

augur Thanks for the feedback. I know my theme was a risk, but I think it can work pretty good. {Cards and Wording}I upped some stats according to your advice.
Cards: I left Collective Uprising with the first strike, feels pretty bad otherwise (I mean, it can grant another keyword, but I like first strike in this situation.) Formation Swordsman now costs 1W. Before the Jump is most certainly not common, but I think it does a great job where it is, so if there's not much complain I will leave it there. Now Jade Seer scries 2 and requires 1U and tap. Mistform Disciple is pretty bad at uncommon so I left it as a common. Reinforcerd Denial at 2UU, as most common hard counters are nowadays. Fixed Midnight Uprsigin according to what you said, I agree it was overpowered. Bernd's Invocation is now a 6/6. Should it be a 7/7? Sage Beastmaster now costs 4, draws cards for each creature with power 2 or less, and is a 3/3. Might still be too good? I left Master of Names at 3, but now only copies your own stuff.
Wording: Fixed all issues. Set file (v2)

Any updates from any of the people still missing? I am a massive piece of shit who has started and stopped this many, many times. If anyone is still interested in this dang thing, I was Temur, and should be replaced for the good of all.

Lady Mapi: Can you tell us more about your skeleton please ? Maybe it's good that the person who continues still tries to fit your original designs.

Lady Mapi : Can you tell us more about your skeleton please ? Maybe it's good that the person who continues still tries to fit your original designs. The idea I kinda sorta settled on was Temur Dredge, which specifically cared about the number of card types in your graveyard (the arcun discarded land cards and shocked people). Before that, it was Temur Spellslinging, which was kinda bad. In both cases, I got the commons and the arcun more-or-less done, then I hardcore ran out of steam. So if someone takes this over from me, they might as well start from scratch.

Where would I submit my stuff when I am done? Or would I only submit it when the "Event" is done? No you should answer here by putting a web link (dropbox/mediafire/etc) that lets people download your set file and then augur or voltaic-qui or anyone who's in charge will download it and merge everything together.
