I let the knife sticked in the ground, just besides the book.Curse of Illusory Gains: Oh boy, this is powerful. It should cost five or six for sure, the second ability plus a wheel effectively locks a player out of the game. The firsy ability feels more red that black to me, but that's personal taste. 7/10

Tome of Empty Pages  Legendary Artifact   , Discard a card: Target opponent discards a card. Activate this ability only any time you could cast a sorcery.    , T: Draw seven cards. Activate this ability only if you have no cards in hand.

I think for a moment, before it occurs to me that there is someone who may be able to help me figure it out. Reaching out, I move to close the book and pick it up with one of my free hands, while keeping an eye open in case someone is trying to use this as bait for an ambush. Existence Failure    Instant  Until your next turn, activated abilities of permanents you don't control cost an additional 'Sacrifice this permanent.' to activate.

Chant of Many Names   Enchantment   : Put target legendary card in your graveyard on top of your library.  , Sacrifice CARDNAME: Legendary permanents you control gain hexproof and indestructible until end of turn. CARD (amechra): Two mana rocks seldom produce color without entering tapped, so that might be too good. Still, the activated is cool enough that I'm only dinging you slightly. 7.5/10CARD (blueseclipse): This is weak - I'm not exactly sure how much a one-shot temporary shut down of activated abilities should be. But I'm pretty sure 4 mana is at least two mana too much for this. EDIT: Read this a bit better now - much scarier if it affects lands. The book remains mostly inert, letting Khon put it in his hands. At least, for now. If he were to let it out of sight, the blood would promptly vanish, though the smell might not. (Chronologically, this takes place before all the other book posts going on - I'm putting this timeline-wise after Karina gets stabbed, but before book starts showing up at other people's doorsteps asking to be freed.)
CARD: Again, really interesting. Like this is a super interesting effect - I just question whether it has to cost so much. I want to say neutralizing activated abilities that aren't mana abilities like this could cost just two mana? Still, this is so interesting that I can't help but give it a 9/10.

I laughed lightly. "I'm afraid that I can't read that - a major failing on my part. I'm not sure whether or not you're the strangest planeswalker I've ever run into. I've heard about this hat... but that's future history at this point."
I looked at the blood staining its pages, and frowned. "Do you have a way to clean off all of that blood? Do you turn it into ink?"Madcap Repurposing - (⁂)(⁂)Instant -  Counter target spell. Its controller exiles the top card of their library, and may play that card this turn. Chant of Many Names is really neat - I'd run it in my otherwise-only-legendaries Reiki deck. 9/10

I definitely like the idea behind this. That said, I don't know that I agree with limiting the colors of mana used to create the additional tokens. It probably would've been better to go with 'Discard a nonblack, nongreen card' in the cost - and probably go with   as the mana cost for creating the additional elementals. 8/10Khon tucks the book within his cloak and departs the area, making a note to ask some of his contacts on the plane in hopes of finding out what might've happened.

Fleur Whether it was part of her nature to know of such things, or if she had heard by other means, there was one thing Srethi would know. Someone, far north, was in the business of doing one of her job for her. Local villages had spoken of animals slaughtered, only choice cuts if any at all taken from the slain beasts. Whoever was responsible, it seemed they had a penchant for indiscriminate knife-usage as Srethi did. {Gift? Card - Relentless Poacher}

Popcornia Relentless Poacher is a neat card - a bit overtuned; not sure I want repeatable killing something with power 2 or less, but a cool idea. Second ability feels kinda disjoint; when am I actually attacking with this or ending with it blocked? 6.5/10. Would flavor respond but I'm horrendously late. Bloodblade's Chant   Enchantment Creatures you control get +2/+0. At the beginning of your end step, you lose 2 life. Maruunian raiders never go to combat with clean blades.

Bloodblade's Chant: Typical Rakdos boost for slowly ticking down your own life. Very aggressive, I'd say this could work a CMC 3. 7/10
