4 days after the Malextros incident, 1 before the Hat's Return... Yes, thank you, officer."Officer Lumen." comes a voice from his doorway. It's Aiden, the soldier. He nods in greeting as he approaches him. "Hello." he says, his spear strapped to his back, his helm gone, disintegrated at the battle of Malextros. "I wanted to thank you for your advice earlier when I first got here. I appreciate the kindness showed to me." he said. He felt... different with Lumen. Seeing Aylin and others made him... crave something, but Lumen did not possess it.For you enabled me to find this poor soul amidst the chaos.Ignatius, Forgiven Lord Legendary Creature - Vampire Soldier Lifelink Other Soldiers you control have lifelink. Whenever a Soldier creature deals combat damage to a player, put a +1/+1 counter on that creature. 2/4 Ignatius, Forgiven Lord has indestructible because of Aiden of Sunspear.

"No problem. Anything to help a good man like yourself." Lumen extends a metal hand to shake Aiden's. The Keeper's Touch Artifact - Equipment Equipped creature has lifelink and deathtouch. If an opponent would gain life, instead put a +1/+1 counter on equipped creature. Equip Try racing me. I dare you. CARD: Feels like a vampire? Yes. Feel monowhite? Yeah. Great card. One thing: Soldier should be capitalized. 9/10.

Aiden shook his hand, feeling the metal hand against his. Bizarre feeling... Lumen was just like Rowboat in material. Funny how that works. "Now, I have a bad feeling about something. This may be the last time you see me. So I wanted to request that you keep the peace in my absence, like you're good at." he said, smiling, only half-joking.Dutiful Guardsman Creature - Human Soldier Vigilance ~ gets +0/+1 for each other Soldier you control. 2/2 (Intended as a gift - take it as you will) Dutiful Guardsman has indestructible because of Aiden of Sunspear. The Keeper's Touch: Neat rare card. I think you could probably swap the equip/cast cost and make it that way instead. 9/10.

The sadness doesn't show on Lumen's face. It can't - his face is covered. He nods. "I'd hope that's not the case. Stay safe out there." CARD: Cool payoff for a soldier deck. No complaints here. 9/10. Versatile Gunblade Artifact - Equipment Equipped creature has vigilance. As long as equipped creature's toughness is greater than its power, it assigns combat damage based on its toughness rather than its power. Harsh Prohibition: Was gonna comment on how deranged that card was when I realized you got the raw end of the second ability. Even with the drawback might be a bit too strong to give white this sort of counterspell, but it looks fine and I like the creativity behind it. 8/10.

I walk up to the new little station. This wasn't here when I left, and it doesn't seem like a subset of the 7's either - maybe someone who could drink out of the same bottle. mrlozano The book reveals an ethereal hand holding a knife. The hand gestures frantically, knocking the knife away... with another knife! As the pages fought against him, Marston stifled a sigh. "Fine. I'll go slower, but this better mean you're going to give me what I want." And what he wanted was information. ThatDamnPipsqueak The book ceases moving, allowing Marston to take a closer look at it. There's a section about various defenses against people trying to disarm you; very useful in knife fights, supposedly. cajun The book does not, in fact, put down the knife. Rather, it's in some sort of standstill with Karina Oblay. Responding to both: Spiteful Scriptures Enchantment - Saga I: You may discard a card. If you do, target opponent reveals their hand. You choose a nonland card from it. That player discards that card. II: You may sacrifice a creature. If you do, destroy target creature.III: You may pay 3 life. If you do, target opponent loses 3 life. Spiteful Scriptures can use the bounce spell's universal draw effect to fuel the second ability - I'm accepting Pip's card as a sort of gift. Cajun's card can be (indirectly) addressed by destroying whatever creature the equipment is equipped with or by forcing an equipment discard through the first ability. The scriptures are for Marston, the spite is for Karina Spear: Oi that's a potent effect for two mana upfront - I wonder if this needs to cost ? Then again most on-defense effects don't need to be costed too, too high. 8/10.
Reject and Reflect: I really like how this incentivizes having a flexible mana base with the sidegrade effect - this is just a very solid card overall. 10/10.

Asdkslkdlngkkentkjksanfksdksakdsoonyojospkjoskkdskdlsngkekjtktheakskjflslfkalksldsnkaflsjogsakgnakjgktrksaljtljeitkjeknaktkjektkentkjaksnkskspsrjeknaknskgsotjenkrnkenaingjnosksogsalmflsaflksajgfsajgjsagldtejtniantjowajtoekroekorakngwflnsajgspdkjgspj... the writings go on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on....and on. The knife fits in my hand like it did before. Perfect. I inhale out of nonexistent lungs. Thank you, my dear. Then the knife comes down, and it's horrifyingly real. The runes of the book catch my attention. I can't stop looking at the impossibly mesmerizing letters. What do they say? Should I even try to read it? Should-
The scream is the most horrible thing I've ever heard. I tear my eyes from the book to see the knife pulling out of my stomach. I can only stare as my blood pours out. I feel myself fall and see the knife moving again. I grab the knife with the telekinesis and try to wrestle it away.
The scream gets louder as it cuts down my cheek. I fall back, dropping the spear, one hand on my stomach, the other on my face.
The knife comes down again. I'm not even sure if I can feel it stab my leg, but I see it come back out. A bloody hand reaches out and a blue spell shoves the book as far away as possible.Never Again Instant Exile target spell, artifact, enchantment, or tapped creature. Put a repression counter on that card. As long as it has a repression counter on it, it has "You can't cast spells with the same name as this card." Curse of Echoing Torments - Huh. This is really tricky to judge, but think it's good? Is interesting and something for red to do with too much mana. 9/10That part there's the real attack, but book's free to react to any of the below as well. So much blood. Had to keep it. The blood. Blood. It was a funny word. Blooooood. I laughed and the pain ripped across my body reminding me why I shouldn't. I looked down at the growing stain on my pants. I had a thing for this.
I lay back and tap behind my ear. "Reyhsia! Please! Reyhsia!""She's not here, little intern, what's up?"Needed to get somewhere. Needed to keep my blood. I had a thing for this. "Bleeding!" I yelled. I had a thing for this..."Correction." Reyhsia coughed. "The witch just ran me through." Her vision blurred back to normal. She needed to focus on keeping her own blood inside her.
"Now don't you run off on me, young lady." I had a thing for this.
I copied her spell on my face. Put that blood back. Need to keep it inside me. The pain didn't go away. Did it work? Who knows. Keep going. I pull myself back up and scream and cry at the pain. Keep going. I cast the spell at my leg. I can feel it's not strong enough. I hold both hands to the wound on my stomach. I'm supposed to hold it, right? Why does it hurt so much. Keep going. Keep going.
You can't do this to her.
