Holistic Healer Creature - Human Cleric : Target player may gain 3 life. If they do, target other player draws a card. She can heal your body, or your mind.
1/4 I like effects that allow people to make choices, and that allow for politics in multiplayer

This challenge is now closed - please no further changes of entries!
Sorry for the delay. Sadly, my time to sit down and write stuff this week is much more restricted than expected – so to not stall this any further, I'll have to announce our winner for today. If you want any further feedback, just let me know and I'll come back to you over the next few days. {So our winner is..} melono , congratz to the win! Wut I do wrong?

So, this wasn’t the raging success I predicted, but of well. Quality over quantity, and I like the quality of all entries. Jartis - Great fun card in multiplayer for which it is intended. The shenanigans it can bring about in the intended setting is great. Outside, in singleplayer, not so much. Rarely would someone want life over giving an opponent card advantage. Though, one could run it if they want their opponent to draw cards, as you gain 3 life, and the opponent draws. gateways7 - A pretty strong card, for which I like the flavor+mechanics combo. Gaining life to gain strength is a great mechanic to put in white, and thus a great card to put in many lifegain decks. I’m not entirely sure about making this card a cantrip though. It’s already decent on its own, as it already gives both 2 life and a +2/+2 boost without any outside lifegain. With outside lifegain it quickly becomes a very good card to play. Maybe something like cycling would be more appropriate, if you just don’t have the boardstate for it, you can go to the next card. viriss - A simple card, that has been done before in Spirit Link. However, the main boon of your card is that it’s instant speed, which means that it can be used for (for example) a creature’s enter the battlefield effect that deals damage, like Voracious Dragon, Foundry Champion or Dragon Tempest. The thing is, these cards are few and far between, and are often if they deal higher amounts of damage, which would make this card see little play in pauper. Three great entries, but only one shall stand. And that’s gateways7 Grats!

Awesome, thanks for the win! Your next challenge is to create a common or uncommon that could feasibly be printed in a Commander preconstructed deck. Think along the general power levels of those decks too, don't make something too busted. I'll be looking for factors like creativity, elegance, flavor, and power level. Good luck!

Indurate Enchantment - Aura Enchant creature Enchanted creature has indestructible and defender. : Enchanted creature loses indestructible and defender until end of turn. For the commander that needs protection and doesn't have to attack. Else it can be removing an attacker from an opponent.

Lifemask Illusion Creature - Ninja Illusion ~ cannot be blocked. Whenever ~ becomes the target of Ninjutsu, instead of putting it back in your hand, exile it. Then, during the next end step, return ~ to the battlefield under your control. Whenever ~ becomes the target of a spell or an ability other than Ninjutsu, sacrifice it. 1/3 I decided to choose a commander and then design a card around it.

Alright, judging time. {Judging+Winner} Jartis: Flash doesn’t seem like a mechanic that fits well in red-white, as flash is primarily blue and black. Other than that, Loyal Legionnaire is a pretty fine card with a reasonable power level, so good job. melono: Indunate is actually a really nice card for Commander specifically, as so much of the format is based on the abilities on Commanders rather than attacking for anything, so this is a pretty smart way to protect it, while still having a way to attack if necessary. palorius: I wish Permafrost had some kind of mana ability, but its a pretty good card for what it is, and can has a fine power level in a precon deck while getting better if you pair it with land sacrifice decks like Gitrog. Tesagk: There are some wording errors on Lifemask Illusion (it should be “whenever ~ is returned to your hand by a ninjutsu ability”, as you don’t actually target things with it), and the card seems pretty underpowered for only being a ⅓ unblockable for 2 mana and additional downside, even with the upside ability. However, it does fit well with Yuriko. Flo00: I am honestly shocked that High-Grove Tender isn’t a real card yet - it works perfectly and is just as balanced as something like Command Tower. There’s not much else I can say about this, great job! viriss: Gifts of the Fallen seems a lot worse than a creature like Rising Populace from WAR, as the aura is a lot weaker than a creature and comes without a 2/2 body. Everyone did a pretty good job, but I think Flo00 is our winner with melono as a runner up. Thanks, everyone!

Awesome! Thanks for the win gateways7! The only problem I see with this is like Command Tower this would just be an auto-include in every single green commander deck.
Next challenge: What would happen if silver border met conspiracy or battlebond? And as always, only commons or uncommons allowed.

Seriously, no one? ok, let's broaden the challenge a bit: Make a silver-bordered card that references a specific format, multiplayer or teams.

I think I've let this contest linger long enough. Here's judging: {viriss}I like this. The art and the flavour make it clearly silver-bordered. Just from the mechanics it could as well be a wonky card from battlebond. I'm sure you can do some interesting tricks with this.
{Daij_Djan} This has a really good Unstable-like feeling to it. I imagine this not only in multiplayer games but also in any turnament where it has a similar effect as Side Quest. I can also picture people making deals in commander games like "I'll link arms with you if we keep it that way untill the end of my turn." Great card! Sadly, there can only be one

Your new challenge is.. design either a non-equipment common artifact or a non-aura common enchantment. Have fun, everyone!

Kinda based off of Golem Foundry but it probably shouldn't have Lure in the name. I just couldn't find a better word.

Shield of the Brave Artifact At the beginning of each upkeep, choose target creature. If a source would deal damage to chosen creature, prevent 2 of that damage. Sacrifice ~: chosen creature gains indestructible until end of turn.
