He looked at Karina, then at Rettai, and thought of the rest of the people he'd encountered. Ugh, gods, he felt old and desperate-looking. Even that talking fox looked young. "I should give you fair warning though - it's much lower tech. They seem to have a bunch of gadgets I've never even imagined before here." he said, smiling and moving towards her. "And you don't have to decide right now if you don't want to - I'm not going anywhere."Tinkerhorn Inventor   Creature - Rhino Artificer  Vigilance Activated abilities of artifacts cost  less to activate. This effect can't reduce the amount of mana an ability costs to activate to less than one mana. "Seen a lot of stuff in my time, broken most of it. But this time I got it just right..."4/4 Shimmersting, the Divided: Feels neat. Slightly got a Crescendo of War feel (just off the top of my head). Never really been a fan of activating other people's abilities. I do like the sorcery thing so it's not just an auction come combat (but could be really funny if it was). I don't know if I'd ever sink mana into this though when there's other better options though, in terms of CMC and ability, I feel. But it is a neat rare artifact. 7/10. 0/10 because Shimmersting doesn't exist for a couple hundred years so

Lady Mapi The soldier groans. His groan sounds loud and painful - but alive. He hears the voice in his head. What's that it's saying? G...p? Ge... p?Get. Up.Aiden's eyes shoot open wide, the life and color returning to them. He gasps for air, and witnesses the snake spirit, seeing his wound close. Wait, his vision is improving... that apothecary..? He felt weirdly ill, but much better. He remains laid down, even as his abdomen is sealed back up. "Oh God..." he groans quietly. The wound is sealed. "H-Hanska?"Sun Elemental Creature - Elemental  Whenever you gain life, you may put that many +1/+1 counters on ~. It burns like a thousand suns - given proper fuel.1/1 Life-Blessed Haltija: This is a doozy to score. Stuff like that Sorin that places your life total at 10 is usually a utility - usually at your opponent but can be used to gain life. This wants a similar effect, but will usually always target you in any situation, barring EDH and even then, it's hefty life gain from a bad situation. That's another factor - worst-case scenario, you play one of these on 4 and gain 10 life roughly with a 3/3 with two keywords. Best-case, you go low, then suddenly gain 20+ life. Fun scenario though: someone on 15 or less life, Tainted Remedy + this card makes a dead opponent. 7/10. Always a fan of stuff that's funny with Tainted Remedy.

With that, I uncoiled myself from around Aiden and disappeared back into her hood....Hanska lifts her hand from your chest. As far as Aiden can tell, no-one else saw or heard the snake (Reyhsia would have seen it if she had her blood-sight up).Vibrant-Scale Python -   Creature - Snake Reach At the beginning of your upkeep, gain 2 life if you control the creature with the greatest power or tied for the greatest power. 3/2 Sun Elemental is a pretty standard white design - unfortunately, I really think it should cost a bit more. In a lifegain deck, you'd need to answer it immediately with burn or else it'll quickly get out of range of pretty much anything. Bump up the cost to  and it'll feel fair, I guess. 7/10( cajun and korakhos might be interested in this one...) |

Lady Mapi Aiden nodded, still dizzy as he propped himself up on his elbows. "No problem's there. I've been through worse." he said, coughing, some blood coming up. He looked to Aylin as she called her an angel. "Well, angel's a bit strong... but she's not the worst I've ever met." he said loudly so she'd hear. He looked to the snake as it talked to him. "I'm not trying to die." he said to the animal, and raised an eyebrow. He was very confused and miserable feeling on the inside - but at least he was alive. Watch out for her, huh? He slowly sat up, and stood after the snake coiled off of him. Did... no one see that? Bah, whatever, his abdomen was just sewed shut by a snake. "H-hey." he said, holding his hand up to his head, looking dizzy.Woozy Envoy Creature - Cat Soldier  Vigilance At the beginning of your upkeep, up to one other target creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn. "W-woah, hold on... had too much catnip..."3/2 Vibrant-Scale Python: I like it. Green has the P/T comparison, white's got life gain. I'd say 3 mana 3/2 reach with upside is a bit much but even Wizards is pushing creatures to be better overall and I'd just be being stingy. 9/10.

Aiden sits in his shack. He's wondering just how he's supposed to continue his life on the arena. He knew he was a planeswalker now, technically, but he sure as Hell didn't feel like one. Maybe he should visit 7CI again, now that he knew more about himself. Maybe that would help him figure out what was happening. He looked at his spear against the wall. It had been a while since he had even seen their spirits... he wondered if something had happened to them.He reflected on his memories for a while. He smiled to himself, and picked up a book he had borrowed from Reyhsia's library. He knew his family was dead. But they were not gone. Even if their spirits were not in his weapon, they would be in his heart, forever and always.Aiden has unlocked Sigil of the Commander! (better render in the works) (Render by cajun) Aiden of Sunspear  Legendary Creature - Human Soldier  Indestructible, lifelink, vigilance Other creatures you control have indestructible. Weird.---Aiden hears the door knock, and slowly stands up, putting his book down. He puts his hand to his forehead. Gods, he still felt sick, and his chest burned internally. He swallowed, before approaching the door and opening it. "Hey, Hanska. A bed in that corner, a table in that one, a chair in the third. "Wait..." something seemed to click in his head. "What do you mean, explain? What's going on?"Majestic Wildebeest Creature - Beast Vigilance At the beginning of your upkeep, you may remove a counter from target player. The sun's majesty imbued in one species.3/3 (I know Wizards doesn't really like interacting with counters on players but you know what I'm feeling saucy) Majestic Wildebeest has indestructible because of Aiden of Sunspear. Glowscale Seer: Has infect 0/10 I had like three realizations reading this card. Basically, says "you may draw a card and gain a poison counter" is my final interpretation. Overall, neat use of self-harm. Feels sorta nongreen, because black gets infect and draws but it's tertiary in black so probably a good call to require green. 9/10.

"They have earned their rest - let us celebrate their life."1/1 Majestic Wildebeast is truly majestic. And with the existence of Suncleanser, it feels entirely appropriate. A 10/10. |

(Guest System) For some reason, Aiden's thoughts stray to Karina. She said she had to talk with Reyhsia, but would try to come over tonight. She was in good hands, and certainly not beating against a locked door, pleading for anyone to hear her.
Where did that thought come from?
He can almost feel the sting in his arms as though he were beating against that door himself.

Those royals really had gotten to him. He looked at her at the mention of his family. "H-how do you know that..?" he asked, as his spear glowed. It seems the smell had attracted the spirits themselves, and they gently took form at the table beside him. The spirits glance at Hanska curiously, before moving to a bowl. They eye it curiously. Aiden begins to eat, unable to hold back any longer - but respectfully and neatly.Ethereal Soldier Creature - Spirit Soldier Flying You may cast ~ from exile. "I can make the journey. Send me, commander."4/4 Ethereal Soldier has indestructible because of Aiden of Sunspear. Funeral Priestess: Seems neat, nice creature hate. Rest in Peace but Magus-like and only creatures. Tizair, Sun Advocate has indestructible because of Aiden of Sunspear. My other permanents do not, without help. Kauriga, Brutal Investigator: I like the way you worked around investigate while still doing investigate kinda. +1 is weird because artifact tokens that don't... do anything are weird (yes, even if there's some precedent), -3 #1 seems like a neat emblem to have, and -3 #2 is fair for the colors. 9/10. ----------- cajun What is this? 4/4 The Invisible Purger has indestructible because of Aiden of Sunspear. Perhaps this will work better than we hoped.Mysterious Voice: Okay that static is a no from me dawg, even if it pitches 4 other cards. Free walkers potentially every turn are like WOW. Other abilities are really nice though. 7/10. Off to 7CI... in theory, she was with Reyhsia.

The soldier headed off, not knowing between him and her stood a dragon, an interplanar organization, an antimagic field, and a very annoyed hat, and not caring how much any of them tried to stop him.
The Invisible Purger - brutal. was gonna call out how nasty these stack but you've got the legendary on there already. Might want this at a tax. 9/10

The broth tastes like blood - and it tastes delicious .Hanska Myemii - Legendary Creature - Vampire Cleric Vigilance ,  : Hanska Myemii gains infect and lifelink until end of turn. Then you may have it fight target creature. 2/5 Ethereal Soldier is a colorshifted Misthollow Griffin with +1/+1 for more. Unlike WotC, I don't happen to mind cast-from-exile, so this all seems legit. A 9/10. |

He was still panicking. Desperately. Clawing at his limited grasp of mortality, and okay SHE'S dead too. Oh Gods. Oh Gods. He wasn't dying - he was practically dead . Listening to you panic amuses me."You're in pain because your soul is made of sunlight, soldier boy."That one... that one actually made sense. What, given what happened with Malextros. "O-okay... okay. I'm gonna need a second. So I'm a... a vampire?" he said, his eyes wide. Fear, anxiety... exhilaration? He noticed her fangs finally, and smelled it. Oh Gods, he had smelled this before... blood. So much spilled on the battlefield, and now he was drinking it. "I think I'm gonna..." he made a gag noise, and then ran outside. Hanska could hear violent vomiting. Very violent.

Hanska Myemii: Vampire that is white with black ability is neat, the green feels weird on a vamp but I see it. Doesn't seem like a bad card, nor too wonderful. Good stuff. I'll give you that straight 10/10.

Anesthetic Bat: Seems neat. Not 100% sure how wonderful it would be, but it seems like a nice thing to use especially in an Aiden of Sunspear deck ; ). 9/10.

Aiden cannot sleep. He is in bed the night of his turning. His chest pulses with warmth. He lays awake, unable to close his eyes. What has he come to? A vampire with the spirit of the sun. He laughed to himself. He looked over to his spear... empty. As the spirits of his wife and child lay beside him in the small bed. He smiles to himself as he feels their ghostly presence. He wonders why he can't remember what happened to them, and whenever he's asked they retreat into his weapon. He lays there, thinking. Before the thought hits him.
Aiden has spent 200 valor to increase his CMC level by 2.

"You should stay here with the real Reyhsia, and the 7CI. I..." he swallowed. "I have to go away for a while, I'm afraid." he said, smiling. "But I'll always be with you. Here." he said, handing his spear to her. "Normally, I'd feel a little weird about handing my weapon to a young girl, but it's my gift to you." he said. "Don't worry - Rose and Melody have left it."

THE NIGHT AFTER OKUS' ATTACK Aiden slips in and out of... not sleep, exactly, but something like it. But he dreams.
He's back at home with his family; eating dinner with his wife and daughters. Karina and Rose are laughing uncontrollably about something; Melody is trying to calm the girls down so they can finish their dinner. Suddenly, there's a knock at the door, followed by it being kicked open.
Reyhsia stands in the doorway, straw hat perched rakishly on her head , sword crackling with lightning. Flanking her are two crossbowmen. "I only need my little bandar. Kill the rest." She steps into the room, reaching out a hand to Karina, who takes it nervously. Reyhsia pulls her out of the room as more crossbowmen file in, leveling their weapons at Aiden and his family. His spear is in his hands, but he knows it's too late. "The sun may set... but I never will!" He shouts, and the crossbowmen fire.
He awakens.
Just outside his shack is a small tear in the sky. When he finds it, he can see through it a strange space; colors whirling in incomprehensible patterns. On the ground below it is some scrap of technology; he recognizes it as one of the devices the Seventh Circle use to communicate. On its screen flash the first two words of a message, unfinished and unsent.IT EATS
The next morning, Varrs is nowhere to be found. Ulrinesh, the Maw of Night Legendary Planeswalker — Demesne At the beginning of each player’s upkeep, remove two counters from each non-Demesne permanent that player controls.  |

He sobs not for his lost life - he had come to terms with that. He sobs that he had to lie to Karina, that he will leave her behind. As he phases back into sleep, he sees that terrible, terrible dream. He wakes again, and his tears dry. He knows something is wrong. He feels the pain in his chest intensify, and his body is covered in severe burns. He steps outside. He sees the dimensional tear. Normally he would leave or call someone else to help, but... he did not have much time. If this could even possibly harm Karina... He puts his hands together and shoots two beams of white energy, attempting to grab onto something to close it.

He would not survive to see it.Dying Drainer Creature - Vampire Soldier Whenever a counter is removed from a permanent or player, you gain 1 life. 1/1 Ulrinesh, the Maw of Night: Weirdly symmetrical and niche for a mythic planeswalker. Hurts walker decks pretty bad, and some stuff but usually it's just an unfortunate loss of a couple P/T or a Vivid land counter? 7/10.

(guest system) In a far-off corner that's otherwise brightly illuminated, darkness bends and twists like water, defying the laws of optics. A hissing can be heard, cackling gently at first and then making some kind of guttural noise. The words are twisted, bent out of shape. The words are wrong, but the words are most certainly there. The air grows cold.must ~ feed ~ taste... explore... settle...
The voice is unfamiliar. It seems to be waiting for something...

Karina Oblay, Sunspear - this card physically hurts me but in a good way. Mechanically it's like an Auriok Steelshaper on adrenaline but enough rambling- 10/10 |

Fleur - .......: seems neat, copying and planeswalker creatures feel blue and white respectively, but I can see it as black. 8/10. The soldier has dealt with the tear in the sky somehow. He re-enters his abode, laying down on the bed. Rose appears beside the bed, dancing and moving excitedly. Her father was about to join her and her mom! Melody appeared beside him on the bed, and gave him a sweetly sad smile, her ghostly lips kissing his. He smiled back at her and looked to his ghostly daughter. He wasn't ready to die. But he couldn't fight back. There was nothing left to fight for - if he fought, he would live for another few hours at most. He felt the warmth turn into blistering pain. If he did not give in, he would have nothing left. He thought of Hanska. She had taught him to feel no fear. His time was coming, whether it was fair or not. He sighed, his voice shaking. No. He sighed again, his voice strong. He felt sadness wash through him. He would be leaving Karina. He wished he hadn't had to lie to her, but he knew he had to. She had had a rough day - she didn't need him to tell her he was to die to bring it down. He closed his eyes, and a smile formed on his lips. The pain turned to a pleasant, comforting warmth as it consumed him.Aiden of Sunspear would never wake.---Aiden's eyes shoot open, and he is surrounded in a world of light. Out of the light, a woman steps forward, dressed in traditional Sunspear robes. This must be the Eternal Sun herself. He smiled to her... before he heard the strangest of darkness at the corner of his world. He looked towards it, but two hands gripped his wrists,Melody and Rose, Protectors Legendary Creature - Spirit Flying Cards in graveyards can't be the target of spells or abilities. Whenever another creature you control attacks alone, it gets +2/+2 until end of turn. 3/3 (Admitting defeat to the discard/life loss, but never taken from the grave!) Melody and Rose, Protectors have indestructible because of Aiden of Sunspear. and he looks back to them, smiling. He looks back to the Eternal Sun as the voice tugs at his mind. "I'm sorry. I've been waiting half my life to see you or that you'd help me - but I'd like to request your help one more time. We all have unfinished business yet. Please let us fulfill it." the Eternal Sun looks at him, her face still smiling. She approaches him, and puts a hand on his forehead. His eyes close again, and he feels a strong wind.
--- Aiden's body lays in the bed, and several minutes pass since his time of death. Suddenly, a white light surrounds his body, and soon leave it, taking form into a spirit version of Aiden, followed by his family. He smiles at them, and nods. They turn into beams of light and shoot off into the night, towards the 7CI.
