I got Armix, Filigree Thrasher. My first thought was to make a partner for him, but then I thought of this. {Invalid} Manic Creation Sorcery Create two 3/3 colorless Golem artifact creature tokens. Madness - Sacrifice an artifact "I've done it! I've finally - hurk ." - Cali Marken, last words. The idea behind this is that since Armix has partner, he could potentially have any other color in the deck. If you think this is kinda cheating Flo00 I'll gladly make a black card instead.

Typical of me. I focus on one limit and forget that the others exist, lol. Will make a new entry. My question on color identity and partner commanders still stands.

I'd say it's ok to give him a partner. Just tell me what/who that partner is. Or grab a random partner for a little extra challenge

Since there are only two entries by now, I'll give this a couple more days.

Gruul Gatewarden Creature - Giant , Sacrifice a creature or Gate: Gruul Gatewarden deals damage to any target equal to the number of Gates you control plus the number of Gate cards in your graveyard. The enforcer’s assignment abruptly failed when they hit the gate a lot sooner than they expected.4/3

Not sure I got the Limit #1 address as well as I'd like, but it's sort of inspired by Hammerfist Giant. {Card text} Hammersmash Giant 4RR Creature Giant Warrior Uncommon Trample When Hammersmash Giant enters the battlefield, it deals damage equal to its power to target creature you don't control. Excess damage is dealt to that creature's controller instead. 5/4

Bloodrush was perhaps the least impressive of the three Gruul keywords, but with this raging giant, all the bloodrush effects net sweet bonus damage. Not to speak of the regular combat tricks like Giant Growth and the likes. [/a][/div] [/div]

Judging time! Flo00 : This captured the flavor of Ravnica in a really great way. Including gates was a really fun nod. And that flavor text? Chef's kiss perfection. I will say the activated ability feels very strong; the fact that it can care about gates in your graveyard means that most of the time, it means that you get a gate down, it's damage goes up, and it can hit any target. I would have probably given the ability a mana cost. I really like it though. viriss : I feel like the flavor was swing and a miss, but it's a really great card mechanically. 5/4 plus removal and a little chip damage is well-costed for 6 mana. digiman619 : Uh... this card doesn't work as written. You've given an X cost, but nothing defines what X is. Beyond that, the ability feels very clunky, and also feels like not a great payoff for a 4/4 CMC 6 body. ameisenmeister : Another great Gruul card! It is an excellent Bloodrush synergy, and I could see one or two copies being played in a Feather deck as top-end. It feels pretty aggressively costed though, even with the card attacking every turn. melono : Is a Giant Devil even a thing? Regardless, I think the card is overcosted by about , but it's simple, effective, and it's got a great flavor to it. Very Rakdos. Boogymanjunior : The Boros idea of self sacrifice is really shining in this one. But it feels all over the place. Lifelink feels tacked on, and the one-sided board wipe feels overcosted and really not that strong, especially on a 6 mana body. I feel like the concept is good, but the execution is a little lacking on this one.

Done, thank you for gathering the limits for us. Honestly a big part of what makes the limit list hard to update was the fancy formatting that's easy to break each time the list is edited. After a bit of consideration I've decided it's better to have an easy to update list that looks plain than a fancy looking list that gathers a lot of dust so to speak, so I've remade the list to look a bit plainer but much easier to copy-paste/edit in a pinch. (I.e. Updates should be easier for us to made from here on out.)

The Lifelink was deliberately so that his sacrifice will net you X life per opponent's creature which is also why this was costed that way... but congratz to Flo00, love the flavor text!^^
