As I have unfortunately only little time, just a quick judging. May sound sharp, but that would only be due to the terseness. Just want to say that I find this challenge slot combination pretty hard, so kudos to all of you regardless how they turned out. inferno390 Nice abilities cuddling with each other and nod to Howling Mine. In the end, at best too much drawing going on and at worst, too abusable/powerful. viriss nice, impacts game with dynamic much in the flavour of a all out war between Mirrans and Phyrexians: creatures are forced to attack or activate a suffiicient ability to get a chance of surviving while the controller suffers. But you potentially less than your opponents. Plays finely with shenanigans. May be too strong/impactful for zero to two mana. +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters don't mix well, removing the -1/-1 counter would fit. gluestick248 Strong, but I'd say balanced card. First ability feels very forced. Flo00 I like the variety. Should only be able to be tapped at sorcery speed to avoid lock downing opponents by immediatly discarding the card they draw. thegoldenscarab Interesting concept, nice delayed pay-for-draw, kinda mirroring, and idea of an ever-collapsing spire with tap and untap. Seems a little bit forced. 5 life is pretty huge, still don't know if instant-dicscard isn't misplaced to avoid lock-downs. ameisenmeister clean, good mixture of attacking with card advantage in line with Phyrexian Arena-Fighter. Should have a person speaking the words of the flavour text. FLAREdirector Demon Samurai, awesome. Black vigilance is a bit strange but not bad, especially since it's a legendary one. Vigilance and tap/untap is interesting, but also a little bit forced to point towards the mixture. X can'tbe 0 feels like a little makeshift escape. Instant discard is too lock-downy and the -X/-X ability might be too good. melono Interestingly nice ability mixture with a fitting flavour. kefke Apreciate the idea, but bizarre indeed as it is too niche for my taste. lizstar Always a good thing to let you scry and draw a card. Seems forced as it's essentially "Whenever you lose life, scry 2" (besides the last ability). {And the winner is...} melono ! Didn't make it feel forced at all while still bringing something interesting, powerful but balanced to the table. ameisenmeister is runner-up.

Thanks for the win!
Next three:
LIMIT #4: Your card uses a non-evergreen keyword. LIMIT #20: From 20 to 0: your card can hypothetically kill your opponent in one swing. LIMIT #130: I put a spell on you! Your card cares about (other) sorceries and/or instants. (Thanks, melono!)
Have fun!

EDIT: Rats! {just ignore this}Earthtumbler Troll Creature - Troll Shaman When Earthtumbler Troll enters the battlefield, it deals 1 damage to target player for each land card in your graveyard. Retrace (You may cast this card from your graveyard by discarding a land card in addition to paying its other costs.)2/4 Stir the Inner Fire Instant If the next instant or sorcery spell you cast this turn woul deal damage, it deals double that damage instead. Rebound (If you cast this spell from your hand, exile it as it resolves. At the beginning of your next upkeep, you may cast this card from exile without paying its mana cost.)Can kill with one Searing Wind.

When I went to bed last night I thought "meh, idk if I'm actually going to submit anything to the challenge slots. Seems a little too specific and granular." When I woke up this morning I had this design in my head. Thanks, head.
..........look, it COULD hypothetically win you the game if you just, uh, splash red. Maybe not even that much red!

I found this challenge to be extra difficult. I think there is a better way to word this. Maybe set its power to X, and then the text reads: Flying, Haste X equals the number of instants and sorcery cards you own in exile and in your graveyard. Enchanted creature gets +X/0, and has flying, and haste.

Time for judgement: {Spoiler}{Spoiler} Flo00 - Stir the Inner Fire: Pretty nifty design, and something I might use myself in my Syr Carah commander deck. The rebound gives it that extra utility, making it not a waste to cast this with a t-bolt, as you can use a heavier costed instant/sorcery the next turn with the rebound. Daij_Djan - Toxic Mists: Interesting that it gives poison counters to both players, as you’ll need to keep your storm counter from going too far. Which could become hard if your opponent plays instant spells, making it go into a draw by poison. I find it not a very fair card though it tries to be by giving you poison counters as well, as often enough your opponent isn’t playing infect, so it’s nearly always skewed in your favour: the poison counters you’re getting will not be mattering at all. Storm doesn’t necessarily care about instants and sorceries, but I won’t hold that against it, as they are often used in storm decks. ameisenmeister - Hidetsugu’s Last Rite: Hidetsugu’s Second Rite with a minigame attached to it. And suitable for commander too! In commander people often enough have abilities that grant or lose them a bit of life at instant speed, making it a bit less powerful there. It will often fail, but if it doesn’t, it’s a funny wincon. It doesn’t take someone from 20 to 0 though. gluestick248 - Spellfist Brute: I won’t be too harsh on the Prowess trigger, as it’s often used in conjunction with instants/sorceries, and not enchantments/artifacts/planeswalkers. The first thing I thought of myself for the three challenges combined was actually just a Prowess creature. The activated ability makes sure you can hit the 20 to 0, though it’s very unlikely seeing how you’d need the mana for that as well next to the Prowess triggers. Relatively simple card. Which is good. kefke - Spellblight Spirit: Interesting Keyword, as it makes it so you still deal the normal damage besides the poison counters. Nice wording for a complex cost, which seems like a fair enough cost also taking into account the cmc of Spellblight Spirit itself. Would work well with miracle, dredge, and other “get cards in the graveyard” strategies. A nice change of pace that it’s expensive sorceries and instants you want to get in the graveyard opposed to creatures. inferno390 - Reignited Flames: I was confused at first as to what this card did due to essentially two X costs being used: Multikicker and Instants/Sorceries in Graveyard. The X meant the multikicker, but at first I thought it meant the graveyard-cards. Making it somehow clearer would be preferred. The effect of the card is neat and accordingly quite expensive. 6 mana (cast with one kicker) is quite expensive for a typical (modern) burn deck (and you probs won’t get to 8 mana) but should already be devastating that late in the game. 4 mana is much more manageable to get earlier, but it would mean you aren’t that far in the game, and thus don’t have much in your graveyard, making it exponentially worse. It’s a nice balancing act where you have to see if casting it quickly is more profitable opposed to later with more power (but you’re possibly already dead). (It’d be a main wincon in my Syr Carah commander deck btw.) FLAREdirector - Sinister Shroomamancer: It could very well win you the game if an opponent has many tokens and you play a (kicked) Breath of Darigaaz or any of it’s red comrades. You can’t do this more than once though, as the Shroomamancer will die the first time around too. This low toughness does adequately nerf it. Also, might be fun to play along with Phelddagrif, though it would mean playing WUBRG. viriss - Spellswift Drake: Pretty cool card, that would make you decide between how much creatures versus how many instants/sorceries there are in your deck, as the card also can bestow a creature. I do think it might be a smidge undercosted for its effects, but that would be up to playtesting. I agree with inferno that the text could be better worded. ZephyrPhantom - Spelleater: Hecka power with just a bit of setup. I’d imagine it could do really well in standard. Maybe too well. It has soooo much value. It gives both a big creature, and a lot of carddraw once sacced. Which isn’t too hard to keep the mana open for as the deck would be build around instants. The devour just adds to this, as you get two +1/+1 counters, and later two cards, for only one dead creature. The winner of the challonge is!:

melono - FWIW, Poisonous is actually a real keyword. Just one that's only been used on two cards, ever. Thanks Future Sight!

Thanks for the win melono!
LIMIT #63: Far out, man! Your card has a celestial or spacial flavor. (Thanks, Inanimate!) LIMIT #128: My dear Watson!: Your card is an Elemental, makes Elementals, or otherwise cares about Elementals you control. (Thanks, FLAREdirector!) LIMIT #131: I don't ike this. Your card is better against specific cards, decks or archetypes. (Thanks Flo00!)
Huh. This is going to be interesting. Have fun eveyone!

It's been a while. I don't know if this counts, but here's a card on panspermia. Instead of focusing on biology, though, this one features the seeding of "magical life" with Elementals. Meteogenesis Sorcery Destroy target land. Its controller creates a 1/1 red Elemental creature token. From utter destruction, the magic of life.

I'm not great at designing hose cards, but I envision this card as pulling double duty against wide decks as well as creature-oriented delve and resurrect decks. It's an Elemental Avatar in the same way Avatar of Growth is an Elemental Avatar, okay?
